- Captain Raghu Raman says, "In the Indian Armed Forces, nobody has ever fought over religion. For us, a unit is one family, irrespective of religion and background of the officers. But when soldiers come home on leave, they see a different picture outside. That is where the challenge begins."

Capt. Raghu Raman has possibly one of the most unique career profiles of over 25 years. Spanning over from the army to the corporate.
He has spent eleven years as an officer in the Indian Armed Forces, followed by another eleven years in the corporate sector before joining the Government as CEO of the National Intelligence Grid. He currently serves in the corporate sector. Raghu is a frequent guest faculty in business schools, keynote speaker and author of a column on National Security Strategy and Leadership in the MINT. He is a Distinguished Fellow at Observer Research Foundation and also the author of “Everyman’s War” - a book published by Random House.

Spot On! Raghu. It is time that the countrymen realise that the unity is in diversity. Tearing off the social fabric of any community is not the way forward. People should dump or reject any leader or idealogy that divides them.

Excellent moral booster. People should really learn to respect our brave heart soldiers. It really require lot of courage to complete the task,knowing that you may not be there to see the end.
People must understand this and by their behavior, make their life worth that somebody will like to dye for. Are we living such life today ? Are we making our country worth that ? GenY of 20-22 yrs are joining Army as an Officer, fully knowing uncertainty of life. People are enjoying abusing country enjoying subsidy of our hard earned money.

If there is anything which makes me swell with pride of being an Indian it's the charachter of the Indian army which shows, the unity, in diversity which we all only talk & dream about. Every Indian should be compulsorily given a stint in the army to make them realise what a blessing they are & teach us to become a great nation without our shallow prejudices & biases. GOD BLESS OUR GREAT ARMY & PATRIOTS.
