My mom always used covergirl growing up so when I started wearing makeup covergirl was the only brand I ever used. I'm so happy that its cruelty free and it has a special place in my heart but there are very few products from the brand that are my go to. ❤

Oily skin opinion here: I LOVE the Vitalist Foundation. It’s got great staying power and it doesn’t chunk up on me (more matte foundations do that to me constantly and I HATE IT). It’s probably my favorite foundation right now, aside from the shade range. The lightest shade oxidizes on me, so I have to mix it with a different, lighter foundation.
Yes! As an oily girl, I find that more dewy and skin like foundations wear SO much better than thick, matte, full coverage foundations. I find that with my oils the matte ones just look gross and patchy by the end of the day.
YES I just wish they had a much lighter shade...I bought the lightest and it just too dark ...I'm oily combo And I found the formula was just fine for Me too!

Just wanted to say that as I was sitting EXTREMELY nervously in the gynecologist office waiting to be seen for an appointment (not fun at all, and I have a fear of doctors offices), I played this video with my headphones in waiting for my name to be called.... I have a history of high blood pressure and usually whenever they take my blood pressure I have to hear about how it’s too high for someone my age (23) and I’m a really healthy weight so it confuses people. I SWEAR that watching your video right before my appointment calmed me down to the point where when they called me in and checked my blood pressure they said it was PERFECT!!!!!!! Thank you jess, you have no idea how much your videos calm me down ❤️ keep being you!
I have the same problem!! When I was pregnant, my blood pressure was always around 140 when they took it at the doctor's office. But when I took it at home, it was just 110... My OB ran some tests and I was totally healthy, she said some people have this problem, even doctors. I am so surprised Jessica's video can treat this, definitely will try next time, haha.

I have oily skin, and I love that vitalist foundation. It is very moisturizing and can stay put for over 9 hours on my skin. It’s better than most of my high end foundations, which I have tried over 50 different foundations. Try it, period.
That Lid Lockup primer is absolutely amazing for oily lids. It was the only thing that saved my eye shadow last summer, and I tried almost everything - high end and drugstore.

Your brows always look nice but I always thought they were a bit too light. This pomade darkens them a little and really balances out the rest of your make up, especially with a strong lip. Keep doing what you do! Love it!
I love the cover girl trublend matte made foundation. I notice the dots too. I find the best way to apply it is pump it on the back of my hand first and warm it up to work the white beads into the foundation, put it on in with a brush and then smooth out with a sponge if it is necessary at that point. To me the work is worth it because it lasts all day on my face especially in summer! I hope this helps!
i think the CG cinnamon toast is SUPER comparable to the burt’s bees toasted cinnamon with maybe just a touch more shimmer that i really don’t see on the skin

I love that matte made foundation and I’ve never had any white dots from it. I have shade L30. It’s my new go to every day because I have oily skin and just love the finish.
Cover Girl Super Sizer mascara is in my top 3 mascaras of all time! I always have that, the L'oreal Double Extend (tubing mascara, and doesn't move but easy to remove with plain water, my every day GO TO for work. Natural but defined looking lashes) and Thrive Causmetics (tubing mascara that I love, too). For super-duper lashes, I use the Super Sizer UNDER the L'Oreal -- the super sizer will smudge on me but adds a lot of volume -- so I encase it in the tubing mascara.

I was wondering a lot about quality and there were some other youtubers that have already done sponsored videos with them since going CF and they never said a thing about quality. I think in the near future we are going to see some new formulations from Covergirl.

I feel the cover girl eye shadow primer is extremely strong at holding shadows, almost makes them water proof. It is difficult to blend over it and can cause skipping but if you give it extra time to dry, it seems to be alright, I’d still build slow over it.. the essence one I use to alter other cream shadow pots...( professional makeup artist advice ☺️💕)

I feel the cover girl eye shadow primer is extremely strong at holding shadows, almost makes them water proof. It is difficult to blend over it and can cause skipping but if you give it extra time to dry, it seems to be alright, I’d still build slow over it.. the essence one I use to alter other cream shadow pots...( professional makeup artist advice ☺️💕)

I really like the healthy elixir foundation and I have oily skin. I set it really good and acknowledge the fact that it has medium coverage.
