Songs in black flag are actual sea shanties and Irish/Scottish traditional and not songs writen for pirate movies

no to pro Scottish independence, the Jacobites simply wanted a catholic king in charge of the union as opposed to having a protestant king. Alot of people forget that it was a Scottish marriage (and a sorely needed bailout) that formed the union.
