Yeah technically side bets are a horrible bet. But they are exciting and to me that is what itl is all about. I usually play with $200-$300 and if I get up I will do crazy stuff because it's fun and it's my money

I wouldn’t play any table games if those games don’t have side bets. So if I had Blackjack and the dealer had an 8, 9 or 10 showing I would get paid. 19 and 20 pay 2/1, 21 pays 3/1 and so on. Thank you for watching I hope that helps
It's a California cardroom so there is a separate corporation that banks the game. The house takes a set amount per hand based on how much money is bet to deal the game. But all pay outs are done out of the corporation bank. I hope that makes sense
For the most part I play by basic strategy and advanced strategy. Sometimes if I'm playing for fun I will split tens or do something crazy. One Casino I used to play at had a hard 31 bet meaning if you hit a hard 21 and pulled a 10 you got paid three to one. I had a $200 bed out there one time and the dealer called me chicken and I hit my 21 and pull the 10 made $600 on that hand🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was a hard 17, soft 17 an Ace a 6 that can be 7 or 17. The dealer had a face card for 10 and a 6, total 16 there pulled an ace for 1 more to make 17. The ace can only be worth 1 in this situation because if it was worth 11 the dealer would have 27 and bust.
I’m a sucker for those side bets, definitely makes blackjack more fun to watch.

No that's a separate bet. It is only betting that the dealer will bust, the more card the higher the payout
