I really love Mr Bean! I grew up with the series.
We also used to watch Mr. Bean, the no-words shows. I was never appealed to the animation but my students would watch it in the Netherlands!
Hi I am from Mexico and when I was a child I liked Mr Bean the original and cartoon .. my favorite Show tv .. I still like it ..🇲🇽🇬🇧
Good to know Mr. Bean goes down well in Mexico… did you also like the movies? Greetings from Brighton 🇬🇧 🇲🇽
@@EasyEnglishVideos yes I Like the movie Mr Bean's holidays... And another movie with this Great actor Rowan Atkinson in Action movie ... Ecxelen.. un abrazo..
@5:50 kinda the actor James Cromwell
Oh, god! You are talking about the best actor ever, he is the only one who make humor, no matter if you speak English and no matter where you are. The truth is he is exaggerating the role but, he caricature the British society in a funny way!!
Mr Bean might be relatable across many languages and cultures, but I’ve always thought it was just a bit naff. Blackadder on the other hand…genius…and it gets better as it goes on. Not the nine o’clock news is also worth looking up.
Well said Patrick! That last series of Blackadder led the way to other great comedies with a central heart
I really really like Mr Bean, I have laughed a lot with him. He was pretty famous some years ago, maybe a little less famous now, but I continue to enjoy his humour anyway.
Does Mr Bean represent the British? Well, the opening ceremony for the Olympics was starred by the Queen, 007, and Mr Bean, so I'd say, for the rest of the world, yes.
I forgot that he was in the Olympic ceremony. So funny to include him, did they also have a segment devoted purely to fish and chips too that I forgot?
@@EasyEnglishVideos Well they should! 😆
@@manorueda1432 I just had an idea Easy English should create a crime genre episode with the detectives Fish and Chips
@@EasyEnglishVideos Great! If you ask me, I would put a TARDIS somewhere. Maybe for another episode...
@@manorueda1432 Oh, is Dr. Who a big thing outside the UK?
I like very much Mr bean .. he is a great artist .. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yes
5:00 blow me, Messi speaks English so tickety-boo!
Mr Bean is a hugely popular character here in Sri Lanka
We laugh at his bumbling messes and in doing so we laugh at ourselves🙃
2:57 "Interesting" To fully appreciate and understand your comment one needs to refer to the Easy English video 64, dedicated to British ways of expression.
Hahahaha! Great throwback there!
I am autistic and I don't feel offended by Mr. Bean at all. Some of his shorter films I think are funny. I don't like the longer ones. They are kind of boring and not too funny.
Mr Bean is very famous in Brazil, I like his humor that he doesn't speak and is understood anywhere. What is the name of this place you recorded?
Greetings to Brazil! This was filmed on the seafront of Brighton along its undercliff walk :)
We, as in "we in Greece" :)
Mr. Bean is known here in Egypt yet he isn't my cup of tea, I find him a kind of exaggerated but this may be due to cultural differences.
I'm currently watching a series called "Dad's Army", it makes me laugh a lot and teaches me about British culture during WWII, what I like about it is how the actors behave naturally yet they're very funny, sometimes it's their over seriousness in telling silly stuff that makes me laugh 😃 Also as a former soldier I relate to a lot of the funnies of militray life 😆
Wow! How did you find Dad's Army?
@@EasyEnglishVideos I heard of it from the BBC and I found it on CZcams:
czcams.com/play/PLIt_ukWWyOjqv-vnGouK2MOrWL_NJIKwn.html
No, he's just not funny in any language or culture!!
Mr bean is really entertaining i loved watching it when i was little he is a plonker
Great use of the word plonker! Never heard it outside of “Only Fools…”
When I was a kid, I saw also the Mr Bean und my mum has said me, that it is really stupid. But I probably see him when I am 28 years old LOL
For me, Mr. Bean is a quite funny character.
There are many candidates but one of the unfunniest comedies!! Given Rowan Atinson in Blackadder was one of the best programmes ever, quite hard to take in!! 🤔😁
I like Rowan Atkinson but not keen on Mr Bean ,I know kids/children like the slapstick visual humour he uses though !
I like Mr. Bean and his exaggerations but it seems Brits prefer Blackadder. I never watched this series - now I'm curious. :D
Yes, I'm starting to think about this series as well after that video;)
I really recommend Blackadder, very different to Mr Bean, but fantastic writing and features Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry and many other great, British celebrities and actors. My favourite series is the last one, based on WWI
@@EasyEnglishVideos Sounds good. Thank you for the recommendation!
Mr.Bean is a universal character and this sort of types can be seen all around world like Charlie Chaplin therefore, his character is not unique I mean is not just relevant with British humour. This type silly things humour are for Boomer generation. For most new generation is not funny at all.
