As far as Sarat’s example goes, it’s stated to show how silly and idiotic ED is. Backache is so serious of an illness that bail shouldn’t be opposed for somebody ED itself termed as kingpin of liquor scam? Now, because he’s not a politician, should he get special treatment? Just because he’s not a politician means ED’s careless and stupid action is justified? Well, he donated money to BJP so he may be getting benefits. Anyways, the example was cited to expose true character of ED. And, asking fundamental question as to why he couldn’t have been treated in jail ? Is it because he donated money to BJP? Is backache so serious 🧐?

If the standard is about release for medical treatment, it should be same for both. Why discriminate? That’s the fundamental question and ED’s credibility is questionable as a result of this.
@@plop_plop_plop I don’t understand what kind of logic is this that Sarat is a businessman so he should get preferential treatment while Kejriwal is a politician so the law shouldn’t apply equally. Totally rubbish logic. ED shouldn’t be allowed to selectively oppose bail. There should be standards defined for this, else whenever BJP isn’t voted to power in center, I really don’t know how many folks from the BJP will have to spend years in jail until investigation continues. Not good.

@@Rajasannu If the BJP believes that backache for Sarat Reddy is fine for him to get a bail, what’s wrong in Arvind Kejriwal demanding an extension of bail for medical reasons? And, if the answer to this question is that BJP welcomed bail for Reddy as it was granted by a court of law, AAP can say they have requested the Supreme Court for extension of bail and not the BJP. I don’t understand why the BJP is getting touchy about this. When Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail for campaigning, the BJP said it was a special treatment for Kejriwal.
And, now when Kejriwal requested for an extension, again the BJP has an issue. Do they have any fundamental problem with the Supreme Court? Why can’t they let the Supreme Court decide? Why get touchy about this?

What’s the problem in that? If the medical tests result in something major which can be treated better in Canada, so be it. If Sarat Reddy can be released merely because he had a backache so that he can feel better, I see no reason why Delhi CM can’t seek an extension of interim bail for medical tests and even subsequent treatment. I really fail to understand that BJP is condemning Kejriwal for seeking extension of bail on medical grounds but was maintaining a conspicuous silence on Sarat Reddy getting a bail for just a backache. BJP never had the courage to condemn Sarat Reddy getting a bail for backache. Why were they not critical of that judgement? Because, it came from a court of law. Here too, the AAP had approached Supreme Court and not the BJP. So, why is BJP getting so touchy about it? Did BJP criticized ED for carelessness in case of Bhujbal when they told a court that they lost files? How come BJP not criticize such a reckless behavior on part of the ED? I am sure if we commit such an action in our jobs, we’ll be fired. And, ED officers are so shameless rogues that they can misplace files and use this as an argument to not oppose bail. Wow, what a shameless department, this department needs an overhaul.

प्राची जी, यह तो होना ही था कि केजरीवाल 02 जून 24 को जेल नहीं जाएंगे वह कोई न कोई कारण उत्पन्न जरूर कर देंगें। उन्होंने अभी सात दिन वीमारी के निदान के लिए मांगे हैं। सात दिन वाद जरूरी नहीं वह 10 जून को जेल जाऐ ही। उन्हें आगे भी जेल जाने से बचने के लिए उन्हें इलाज के लिए विदेश जाना होगा।
