One of the best sounding choruses ever written.
I played this song when I was heading into Iran and Iraq and the Persian gulf war the first one + 90 + 91
Mathew Rudd you got that right. Love these guys
Does sound good. Underrated track.
Greatest band of the 80s music history. I was there and loved every minute of it. 😎😊
Made me fall in love with rock n roll
This song is what made me a Def Leppard fan.
Same here!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Same here... actually the whole album did haha
@@CkYAll1anc3 Pyromania has always been one of my favorite albums.

My wife's favorite band. She would crank this up on long road trips. May she rest in peace ❤
Next time I catch it on the radio I'll turn it up for her❤.
😢😢❤❤
Sorry for your loss, man.
@@delmarjustus8214That is SO cool and I hope you remember to do that!!!❤
It must've been awesome may God bless her soul 🙏🏼❤️
What makes Def Leppard an awesome band is that they stuck by and stuck with their drummer after he lost his arm.
Lost the arm, we felt the band wouldn’t be the same, and then as good as Pyromania was, Hysteria was just as good or better. I had a much better sound system in my Mach 1 for Hysteria and spent countless hours parked playing that tape way too loud. I believe Hysteria was also my first CD (tape wore out)
That's love!
Well that and THE FUCKIN MUSIC!!!
@@rnbsteenstarbut definitely one of the better gestures to come from a rock band

Man the 80s must have been one hell of a time to be alive
I was ages 11 through 20 in the 80s. And I can't imagine growing up in any other time.
You're not wrong.
IT WAS
^80s teen, and can confirm: it was AMAZING.
I'd've liked to have been born in 1955, though. I'd be mid-60s now, but alive during all 3 of my fave rock decades, and I'd've still been young in 1990.
It was,I hope I'm in a nightmare and I wake up back in the 80s.
there are certain 80’s songs that give me an overwhelmingly painful and bittersweet sense of nostalgia. This is definitely one of them
It's Hysteria for me. Very bittersweet, I think about a certain girl I was in love with at 17 and she shot me down. I remember taking a shower the night I was rejected and upset about it and Hysteria was playing on my stereo. 35 years ago, She's long forgotten now, but when I hear Hysteria I instantly think of her.
for sure!! it's like i can smell the decade it's so weird, but so beautiful :)
Hi I recommend a new indie song called 'Looking Into The Mirror' By Robert Nix
UGH same I’m 30 but these songs always remind me of my dad singing them in the car when I was a kid and playing the air guitar and drum guitar on the steering wheel🥰
For real bro..it almost chokes me up.
One of THE greatest rock songs of the 80s and it only has 11 million views. That's criminal.
🫵🫵🫵
it's criminally overrated.
The audio posted about 5 years ago had 26 mil. But you could say that's still not enough
Yeah HOW
I’m 68 years old and every time I hear this song, I can’t help myself but the crank up the volume
Why don't people make music like this anymore 😭
Not true you just aren't looking hard enough. The record label frontiers puts out music by a lot of melodic hard rock bands
history has proven that musical innovation is full of danger to the state. when modes of music change the fundamental laws of the state always change with them. if, in fact the entertainment / media is tied to government "rule", they wish to have society disrupt its self to instill the laws they want to impose. this, imho, is why music is what it is today and why it sucks.
I bet you don't even explore music at all. I have listened to the underground garage on Sirius for years they play a lot of great new bands. Look up rival sons for example a killer band. Ugh so many jaded people. CZcams is as much of a cesspool as Facebook is. I'm outta here. Look up that band they're awesome. To each his own. I like to visit the past I just don't wanna live there
Ken Vail this debate is worse then the presidential debate that made me feel like it was two kindergartens fighting and I hate to break it to you but he’s right there’s barley any good bands Any more all of those top bands main singers are dead and all those new rap artist do suck know matter what don’t even get me started some guy said that after hearing blue faces music he got out of his wheel chair to turn it off.
@Phony Mex In the 80s there was only rock n' roll? 😂😂😂
80s rock is the best
darjon maxwell and best of good MTV.
@@bradyanderson1142 MTV played this when MTV was still MTV.
And science would also have you know, music is becoming worse (more homogenised, unoriginal, lacking in creativity, louder, less diverse, songs written and produced more and more by the same people) over the decades and it's only getting worse for every aspect of music, which is a tragedy for someone who loves and respects music
Corrie Thomson that’s right the more time flies the worse the music gets
Height of all music
To all of those who DIDN'T grow up in the 80's, I offer you my DEEPEST SYMPATHIES and CONDOLENCES !!!

Still listening and dancing in 2024
Cool people like us ! 😎 I was 15 when I seen def in concert good times! 80s were a great time
Oh absolutely!!
I am!
The most Ironic thing about Def Leppard is that they first started off as a group of guys who wanted to start a band together for laughs and giggles. To this day, they're still one of the best bands I've ever listened to and they continue to stay together until the very end.
Good lyrics
Fun loving lads from Sheffield.
That’s part of why I like the electronic duo MGMT. They were in college when they were like “Let’s make an album using bad ideas for a joke” and it’s probably their most iconic album and a bunch of the songs are amazing.
Have fun and have fun on the road with your buddies 🎉and make millions have a. Blast why not 🎉
And they were never silly. Pure rock 🤘
Does anyone else out there get the absolute chills when Joe Elliot hits that vocal in 3:27 when he sings, I wanna touch you. Then he immediately goes into a long ahhhhhhhhhhh. Friggin gets me every time!!!!! One of the best bands ever!!!!!

I was born in 83 and this song has always been one of my favorites. I heard it growing up so much and life was better back then. I had no idea it was released in 83 though lol
This album wasn't released until 1987. I bought it on cassette immediately. This album reminds me of high school basketball road games. One of my all time favorite albums and bands.
I grew up in 1980's. To this day, whenever I purchase a new vehicle, this is the first thing that is allowed to play in the stereo. No exceptions.
Pretty cool rule

I remember telling a friend then that this time is the best we will ever have. Arcade games all over the place. skating rinks, cruising town was about a mile long two lane road with everyone driving real slow. people jumping into other peoples cars. two classes of kids then Hoods and Jocks. I guess I borderlined. I played sports but I sure did love having a mullet. This song still holds up today and nothing will ever ever ever sound like this again. Enjoy it
Well said.

Not that our lives haven't had some amazing moments along the way, but nothing beat being a teenager in the 80's. I can still smell the cloves in the air.

My all time FAVORITE Def Leppard song. I've listened to it at least once every day since I first heard it in 1983. Got the album in March for my birthday. That's 12,833 times and it still gets me pumped up. Music today can't do that. Long live 80's Rock.
Never thought Photograph would be the favorite DL song from a Manowar fan lmao but all 80's Leppard is great.
It is and I love that whole album but this song's harmonies just seem perfect to me. If I had to pick a second favorite it would be Wasted. When I saw them play it live the first time they were much heavier on it. Blew my mind!! They could have struck out with a much more hard sound and been just as famous.

Whoa...hold up. They're definitely great, but, not one of the greatest in the world.
This was/is an amazing band! ❤👊
Aside from being one of the most underrated bands from the 70's and 80's, when their drummer lost an arm in an accident they never abandoned him, didn't dump him and get another drummer. They waited for him to relearn how to play with petals and his one arm and IMO you'd never think he could play this well with that handicap. They loved him and waited for him and there isn't many, if any bands that would do that. I love their music and when I learned about their waiting for their drummer to come back it not only made my enjoy their music more, but every member of this band deserves tremendous respect in how they handled an extremely serious situation and made them better.
Facts! Very well said
On what planet are they underrated ? They are one of the most famous 80s rock bands? One of only two NWOBHM bands around today

Feel it? The breeze blowing through the windows as you cruised through your hometown same as the other 80's teens. This was OUR music. Our time to be wild and free as possible before adulthood got ahold of us. I can still feel the humid summer air, the crisp air in the fall blowing through my permed hair, all a part of your tingling senses as Def Leppard blasted out of your stereo system and you sang with your friends or your significant other...and felt your heart thrum hard with excitement for the moment, for the times we were blessed to be teens in. Nothing like it will ever happen again except when we listen to the songs of our youth. God it was so good. For a little while it was so very good. And every time I listen to the 80's hits...I'm right back there in a heartbeat.
Perfectly woven tapestry of the imagery of our youth!
Nicely worded!! Thanks 👍
Are you from the mid west? Illinois maybe? What's a real nostalgia blast is moving away from your hometown after HS. Then moving back 20 or 30yrs later. Man. I miss rock n roll. Today’s music doesn’t compare. This video takes me back to my childhood watching MTV all day!!!
i wish i grew up in that time it looked really fun and people not being sensitive like today
Man, this takes me back!! When Pyromania came out, they took the world by storm! Still have my original Pyromania and High N Dry on Vinyl. Joe was one HELL of a singer then!
Wow so cool. I wish BTS Jin will have a collab with them.
Reminiscing about the good old days, right here ❤
I remember 1983 very well...we were all trying to be ninjas!! But then I saw this video when this song was released on MTV. Then I was like....to hell with ninjas....Im buying a guitar. Been playing ever since..LOL
U can be Metal Ninja
Eddie Mason any Metallica
80s rock
I actually used a gi to make a ninja suit, and would run all over town from 1 to 3am, climbing over all kinds of city buildings. As far as I know, no one ever saw me. Whomever did...must have thought it was cool enough not to call the cops. To this day I can still climb stuff & walk a rope like no one's business. For that matter my kid can too!
Seriously. I was young, but there was a solid 3-4 years there right in the middle of the decade when everyone had serious thoughts about being a ninja. We all considered it. I had flat feet. Couldn't aim a throwing star to save my life. Had to let the dream go. Still go out and toss my knife at the tree in the backyard and think of the early '90s straight to VHS adventures I could have had.

I'm out a luck, out a love
Gotta photograph, picture of
Passion killer, you're too much
You're the only one I want to touch
I see your face every time I dream
On every page, every magazine
So wild and free so far from me
You're all I want, my fantasy
Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown
Oh oh, look what you've done
Photograph I don't want your
Photograph I don't need your
Photograph all I've got is a photograph
But it's not enough
I'd be your lover, if you were there
Put your hurt on me, if you dare
Such a woman, you got style
You make every man feel like a child, oh
You got some kinda hold on me
You're all wrapped up in mystery
So wild so free and far from me
You're all I want, my fantasy
Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown
Oh oh, look what you've done
I gotta have you
Photograph I don't want your
Photograph I don't need your
Photograph all I've got is a photograph
You've gone straight to my head
Oh, look what you've done to this rock 'n' roll clown
Oh oh, look what you've done
I gotta have you
Photograph I don't want your
Photograph I don't need your
Photograph all I've got is a photograph
I want to touch you
Photograph
Photograph your photograph
Photograph
Photograph I need only your
Photograph I'm out a love
Photograph I'm out a love
Photograph you're the only one
Photograph I want to touch

Thanks for posting the lyrics- its a haunting song, really.
"But it's not enough
I'd be your lover, if you were there
Put your hurt on me, if you dare
Such a woman, you got style"
Gotta correct you here. That line you wrote "Put your hurt on me if you dare......." is ACTUALLY "Put your hood on me if you dare.........." as in hood meaning clitoris. In Britain at the time it was common slang to call a clitoris a "hood" & it makes sense since the previous line lyrics are wanting to "be your lover"
@the gayest glo glo on the planet Good Fucking Riddance...
@@12doorknob well it's written in the caption as he wrote I believe
The chorus remember me "More than a feeling", cool.
50 year old man here who just remembered that this was his favorite song in the fourth grade. Binge watching music videos on CZcams of all of my favorite rock songs in 4th Grade because my mom wouldn’t allow me to watch the music videos on MTV back then. Def Leppard, Quiet Riot++.
This song never gets old.
2013 - Im here cause GTA V
2020 - Ah shit here we go again
See you around like a doughnut, Carl.
dude, beat me to it lmao.
GTA SUCKS! Call of Duty is better! I don’t get why such a stupid game would play such a great song.
@ORTIZ 2006 I don’t care what you think. I will fight for what’s right.
@Johan Elfström That game is animalistic. It lets you kill innocent people and in brutal detail. You can cut people’s heads off and stomp on the bodies. Meanwhile a game like Call of Duty, you are not murdering innocent people. You are fighting to defend the freedom and safety of the innocent. If you so much as kill an innocent in Call of Duty, you lose.
Drummer will lose an arm and still be a legend.
Watched this premiere on MTV when I was 12.
Fell in love with the song and those Chrome Ludwig drums.
Now I have my own recreation of them that I get to play along to their songs on…
This is truly one of the greatest songs of all-time and reminds me of the Golden age of MTV.
British metal one of the most melodic and heavy in the world! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Guns N Roses are from usa and there good!! Guns N Roses and Def Leppard are the best bands!!
