As far as I'm concerned you guys have one of the best farming channels on CZcams . Even though I do watch alot of great farming channels and enjoy them all as well.I always get a good laugh at the way you guys get along and the daily struggles of farming. Awsome videos keep it up.
Ms Laura scolded everyone on her last one.
@@120Rockwood she has every right to when it comes to the stuff she mentioned
Mm it's them, Border View Farms and Mike Mitchell for me at least. Possibly because they offer content reliably/often and talk about struggles and triumphs of farming.
@@120Rockwood what video
Facts bro
With all the happiness going on, this must be the Larson Funny Farm! Thank you for all the smiles you send this way!
Once you get all these new bins up youre gonna need a new flyover intro video.
I think a video of all you fellows and family, bar b queuing and telling stories about farming would be great. Include your grandparents, Randy and family, Dougo and Mom..... I can see 100,000 views.
Hello Chet , I’ll give you 100 % and more your farm is spectacular work shop is clean and your family awesome never give up never surrender is the modem a loving family that works hard early to rise and late at night in fields. Your video’s our awesome best farmer on you tube. Keep up the good job be safe .
I really like the sense of humor from the big Swede .
Thank you for some good laughs watching the video
Did Chet Larson order himself a brand new Ram TRX because he said.
"This is the last time you will probably witness me change the oil on this pickup?"🤔🤔🤔
We have been very fortunate to get missed by the derachos and tornadoes the past year in NW corner of Iowa. Keep plugging n chugging boys!
I liked the Big Swede's comment on the Christmas Tree Stand. I actually own a Christmas Tree Farm in central PA and in 2004 I started to collect tree stands. In 2018, with almost 1200, I got a Guinness World Record for having the Largest Collection of Christmas Tree Stands. We have them all on display in our Christmas Shoppe. I can see your tile cart end cap working well for a tree stand, well maybe before it got bent.
As always, I enjoy seeing what you are up to on a daily basis.
Ever buy anything from Kirk Christmas tree farms in wautoma Wis.
I grew up in wautoma Wis, when it was still Christmas tree capital of world.
Eric...Pit Boss makes a stainless steel grill, including the grate. Narrower spacing, and won't burn up the grate, like a regular steel grate (like you have). Also, before you grill, take a paper towel, wet it with cooking oil and wipe your grate with it BEFORE you grill. Doesn't affect the taste, but keeps the grate much cleaner.
Lmao @ Big Swede banging with the hammer while Chet was talking. 😂
you're cute
I agree with airing up your trucks when they’re inside. It can warm up outside.
Good thing you had some bins already scheduled to be built
I'm only going to say this a million more times! I love this channel!!
Another fun set of adventures on the farm! He needs a fifth grill - A Big Green Egg! Cheers guys!
Ivers putting up new bins Southern Indiana Illinois. About the same size operation. They just lost a mother/wife last month. Good CZcamsrs
Yes, a big loss for the Ivers' family/operation. Dennis, Reese, David, Garrett and George, hardly missed a beat, but regulars of their channel could tell that they are internalizing a lot of grief...understandably! Their Marine nephew, came in for the funeral, from a deployment in SE Asia, and kudos to him for his service to 🇺🇸 ! Not so co-incidental, in my book, Ivers Farms runs red, with an occasional green "visitor"! Thank God we are blessed in this country...with strong farm families, who see to it, despite personal losses, that we stay fed, clothed, fueled, and competitive, and often have surpluses to help others in need, around the globe! 💪🇺🇲 🇺🇲 💪👍‼️
Big S. Have a friend fabricate a new grill top for you , " come on man " good luck !
Love the 'when you do work' lol. Cracks me up, you guys are awesome, keep up the good work lads. 🇳🇿💪🇱🇷👍
Hey there Chet and everyone else on the farm looks like the storm damage is coming back together stay safe everyone! :)
That is a big bin you are putting up. That tree stump was huge.
Chet you're getting smart going with F350 king ranch.erik you just need bigger steaks to put on your grill 😃😉😊😊😋
Chet, go to Walmart they sell a nonstick tray for barbecuing with round holes in it. I have two of them they work great. Love your videos, stay safe, God Bless you all.
You guy's are always so entertaining, thanks for the video's, and the laughs. G-d bless, praying for good weather so the crops bring in a profit, and no losses.
Mobil one is a great choice.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND GUYS !!
Thanks for sharing buddy
Glad to see you got a Brock bin! My wife is an HR Manager at Chore Time Brock. Sorry you had to replace it in the first place..
Great show again. Love my Ram trucks also but like you say about the oil filter placement it stinks because oil gets over everything. So what I do now is get a piece of tin foil and wrap it over the components under the filter, axle, rack & pinion steering, frame etc. I have my big pan under it all and spin it off. After I get the new filter on I fill with oil etc so the foil can drip for awhile and it’s the last thing I do, take the foil off and everything under there is clean.
Weber has a really awesome mini BBQ I got for camping, it's got a nice grill too
Great choice of words Chet, "somebody over here pestering me in my happy spot." Hahahaha love it! Great vid as always!
In very basic terms cement is a bonding agent. Add fine sand to cement and you have mortar for laying brick and block. Add cement course sand and an aggregate\ gravel and you have concrete. There are many variables but in basic terms that’s the difference.
Hey Chet me and my family seen you and the crew multiple times at farmfest yesterday but never got to meet you. We seen you at the Salford booth and at the maywes booth but didn’t want to interrupt you while you were talking with them guys. It was still awesome too see you guys in person and there is always next time. Keep up the great work you guys
I bet they looked smaller in real life.
thanks for sharing your time
Blacksmith reminded me of Gunsmoke 👍
NEVER GET BORED WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS 👌
When I was a kid I help my uncle put up his grain bin but I did put puttie seals on ends where the 2 pieces of metal went
I guess I have something in common with the big Sweed as I have several different types of grills my self
So just tell the big sweed to make a new grill
Get some stainless round stock
1/4” or 5/16” and some 3/8” cut some pieces and weld together
3/8 for main hoop and cross bracing 5/16 for main grill
Space them how every you like
If that’s not small enough get some expanded metal
You could just top it with some expanded metal
Just a side note beans 🫘 will still fall through
So use a pan
Great videos keep it up 👍
Happy spot - compling 🫠🫠🫠
I think a time lapse of the new bin going up would be sweet! I imagine its a pretty great view from the top of that grain leg! :)
Another great video!!
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
Thanks for updating us on the grain bin construction site. Coming along good. Lots of concrete and heavy duty bolts there. So interesting seeing the bin parts in storage. Does not look so big laying flat in storage. Thanks for showing us.
Looks like little by little you are getting storm damaged items fixed or replaced. That stump you removed was huge. Wow. The payloader handled it though.
You said no more oil changes in your picking. Is that a hint a new one is coming around the corner??
About it for now. You all take care and be safe.
Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for everything Chet.
The Iowa farm boy.
Steve.
Surely you boys have a hand pump porta power kit to push and pull things back into shape. I can't get by without one. Cost a couple hundred and it has saved me thousands.
Love the content. Love the people. I love this channel
Great video . Thank you guys
Hello from Canada great videos thanks for sharing
I think it helped alot to have the pre work done on those bins. Always something to do.
Good video good to see y'all again
Eric, get a 12" or 14 " cast iron pan to cook your steaks.
Good stuff men👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing all the things you do
Lol you guy are too fun 😂😂👍👍❤️❤️
Very great video for the farm and team work
Chet good video you 3 work and play so well together. The new bins look huge. Can’t wait to see what they look like when they are done.
Stay blessed 🙌.
Great video 👍 👍
Keep up the good vids
Heck Big Swede, make your own grill great. You're the Grill Master, yes??
Great video thanks
Love the video
I had a fitting under my air dryer on my cab over kenworth that worked great for airing up the truck and trailer. I still let it sit and warm up but I didn't fill my shop full of smoke. air up, start up, pull out, shut door, and wait for warm up. good plan
Chet, did you know that the name "payloader" was coined by Frank Hough for his first articulated loader in 1939. He sold his company to International Harvester who continued calling their loaders Payloaders. Keep up the good work!
It’s a loading shovel.
Called loading shovel in Ireland
Payloaders are only Hough/ IH....he has a front end loader or a rubber tired loader not a payloader
It’s called a front end loader in Alabama lol
Wheel loader 🤷🏻♂️
Job - like a swede 😎😉😊
Chet, I want that American flag hat you’re wearing in this video. I didn’t see it on FF though? Is it a special edition for the farm only? If it is, good choice!
Love your videos! Y’all are always fun to watch and seem to have fun doing it all!
Trench closer is used a lot in Pivot grounds, closing them up before tillage/planting.
The Big Swede should look at getting a Pitboss propane griddle instead of the BBQ grill
cooks like a BBQ but with a flat top
LOL
Big Swede: always donkey kick, never front kick. Your ortho doc will hate me.
Chad, you also should be using a synthetic oil filter with your synthetic oil mobile makes them also
Hopefully you guys get to use it, I would really like to see the results
I’m quite sure with that nifty plasma cutter you can build a customized grate for that grill!
Lodge makes a cast iron griddle use it all the time when we camp
66: decent length of log sticking out stump left nice handle to make easy work.
You can buy Eric one of them stainless cooling racks to go over his grill. I make a lot of burnt ends and thats what I use to keep them from falling through. That place that starts with A can have one on your door step the next day. and they come in all sizes
Great video ,Yes mobil 1 full synthetic oil is good oil as well as their filters is heavy duty too.Thats all i use in my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 hemi.No issues at all and i have 195,000 miles on mine 😀👍!
That old Terex or Euclid dump bed could use some fresh paint. I know I'm always complaining about something. I bet Dougo agrees
Let’s go!
Should get a time-lapse of the bin going up
Great video ❤️😂😂🇦🇺
I wanna see the Crary disc thing work!
"How many grills do you need, I only have one and I lit it on fire the other night"
XD
Amzoil synthetic is the best amsoil invented synthetic and its expensive that's all we use on Harleys too makes your motor run alot cooler for better horsepower
Love hearing Chet scream like a little girl. It always makes me laugh
Put a small jack inside to straighten it.
With Mobil 1 synthetic I used to go 10,000 miles on a change.
Cut a piece of .25" expanded metal to fit on top of the grill and tack weld it. Season it and your hambergers are safe. 😎
Great oil
Eric try aluminum foil and just poke little holes in it would help you with your little steaks
Used mobile 1 oil since the 80s great oil
Hey Chet what happened with the raffle was it drawn yet never heard nothing ! Keep up the good work you’re videos are top notch
Chet I wouldn't concern myself as long warm ups in this kind of weather. Maybe next winter we're in the fall when you're hauling grain yeah but right now I think you're safe
Yes we'll design oil filter location...Ram 2019 same placement of filter..But love the ride.. was Ford ..but air bag ride on Ram is smooth
Hey Ya Tobster :) :)
Chet you should try Brad Penn oil. You will be surprised with the results. Amazing product. I love your channel.
If you can believe it I saw another purple/gray pete on the east coast... your truck has a distant brother 😂
I'm surprised Eric didn't want to light the tree on fire and make it a giant tiki torch
Have you included Toby's paw prints in the new concrete footing?
mobile 1 oil is a great oil. used nothing else in a 1980 Ford f150 and it went 503000 miles before the engine went.
Those Hemis are good to 10k miles on a change if you run an extended drain filter. I see you got a WIX, and it's one of the best in the business. Napa gold is actually the same filter. Just a different sticker. And Napa platinum is the extended drain interval one. Just check the oil on them. Chrysler has an allowable consumption rate of 1qt per 2500 miles or so on hemi engines. Not quite sure where it all ends up. I have zero leaks, no haze on startup. I used to be a CDJR service tech and have seen the bulletin first hand. We also always used Napa filters where a Mopar filter was not available.
Mobile 1 is good, Valvoline syn power or high mileage synthetics are good, I use Pennzoil on all my Mopar stuff. Valvoline in everything else. Right down to the push mower and snow blower.
The green goblin is going away? What's on your shopping list?
Any welders watching with some spare stainless stock make the big swede a grill grate. Be sure to put B S on it too
I feel your pain on the filter.
How come you park the combines with the auger out?
