I believe this is actually called a grey ace if it went into the wrong basket on a hole with two basket options. Black ace is when you ace a basket on a different hole.

This seems right. If the”wrong” basket is still in your fairway it shouldn’t count the same as someone who shanked it into a whole other part of the course

I've hit a blue ace and a green ace but the orange ace still eludes me.

I live in nc but got family near there and I believe that is permanent now I will know after Christmas if it is or not
