depends on your playstyle, I think bedrock is better for creative building because its creative mode feels much more refined, while java is more for the survival experience
both are equally good in general terms
Bedrock has better animations in terms of tentacle movement, and ambiance and even the floating purple block storm, but java has MUCH better and smoother scripting and functionality, everything effortlessly blends together so theres very little bugging or despawning in the java version. If the dev was able to take the better script functionality of Java and combine it with the purely awesome animation and cosmetic effects of bedrock, then hed have an amazing upgrade

I hate how mojqng made it hard to make mods for bedrock, its almost impossible to make java mods in bedrock, i even tried for 5 months and it was HORRIBLE?

@@PlAyErEo3 they’re two different mods, Cracker’s was originally intended for Java while Decayed Reality was originally for bedrock.
Cracker’s is better due to it’s accurate "scripts" and how the wither works meanwhile Decayed reality’s animations are better

How to get the wither storm mod exact and the same as the story mode in bedrock? I would appretiate if somebody gives the link to download of the exact same wither storm as the story mode for bedrock.
It's not possible, story mode was it's own game
All the mod does is add the (slightly) story accurate final fight and the way to summon the wither storm

Honestly they should have added to the wither storm it would have been more cool but rather then command block it should be like dummy command block (item very rare spawns only 3 times in the over world,and can be obtained from any new boss in Minecraft with a 0.01% chance ) and should drop its heads as trophies and a new weapon that is op and armor that matches it (people saying is a bad idea it is not really it would make sense like the ender dragon but like an actually boss fight you can also make it you need a ender egg to spawn like an other boss which 100% precent guarantee the drop of the dummy command block dropping a weapon that will help kill the wither storm it would make Minecraft have a big bad ass boss fight and would extend the journey of Minecraft

It won’t work. It’s invincible. Only breaking the command block kills it

what you call mods in Bedrock are not mods, they are "Addons" and very few of them manage to even resemble their Java versions what would be the White Storm, Bedrock is too far for the addons to be equal to the mods until they remove the system to stop downloading the textures and the addon separately and put it to your world to work, Java is superir in the field of mods but Bedrock wins for its optimization at the cost of having more errors

Bedrock is better because it look like it did in Minecraft story mode. BEDROCK one has better models as well.
That is true, and it is also pretty well animated, but personnaly I think the JAVA one is better simply because it's less buggy, since bedrock one did replace terrain with air, making it look off, plus the heads not focusing on what they are bringing towards them with their beam, aswell as the cutscene when it revives, I did like the way how they didn't all come back to life at the same time, but then they just teleported back into place, which is pretty sad ngl, cuz the bedrock version has A LOT of potential!

Alright, the Java one is better, there is no doubt about that. Anyone who says otherwise and/or genuinely believes that has no access to Java and/or the mod.

The sky being bright purple is… not a great decision
The tractor beams are complete garbage
The f-bomb is done horribly
The terrain becoming air to fit the wither storm’s “corpse” is… annoying
And (I know there’s more bad) the wither storm just disappearing during its “death” and re-awakening is really annoying
(Also why tf do I hear shotgun sounds)

The sky, it’s like a normal wither, slightly darkened
The tractor beams are great, they actually lock on to what they’re grabbing
The f-bomb was done with care, it blinds, it gives a screen effect while preparing to detonate and the wither storm actually stays focused on it
It’s “corpse” works well with the terrain
And uhh…. Yea you get it
Bedrock people, yes I know it’s difficult to do these types of things on bedrock, but you have to understand that just because it’s more difficult to make or the animations are smoother, does not make it better. You need to look at more detail than just a few minor details, and look at the whole thing.
It’s not an official port. It’s trying too much to be cracker’s mod. It CAN be it’s own thing, I’m not saying cracker’s mod is the only or first wither storm mod, I’m not saying it MADE the wither storm. But I am saying that it’s trying to BE cracker’s wither storm mod a bit too much.
