I love that they use the old bouncing ball to indicate the lyrical flow. It's so cheerful! The way it hangs around on the longer held notes make it seem like it has its own personality.
I like how each of the bars represents each instrument + vocals and that they weren't /just/ a fun, random visual. It adds another layer of depth.

I popped down to the comments to see if anyone else had noticed that. I decoded it, too. First two orange bars are Ryan's bass drum and snare. Third orange bar is Dallon's bass line. Blue is vocals, darker blue is guitar, and purple is the "bloop bloop" and "extra fun Gershwin piano" bits. Reminds me a lot of the old visuals you could get with Window's Media Player.
