      There is a correction in the cryptocurrency market, and PRIZM is no exception. Will it go lower or stop at these marks. The difference between the PRIZM coin and everything else on the Internet is its paramining technology. What is it ?: you buy coins, they are credited to your balance in your personal wallet, and their number increases every day in accordance with the paramining technology.

Pass phrase . as far as i read in their website , you can make as many Pass phrases as you wish with the Second PIN you created . then Ledger live will make Accounts associated with that key your Temp. PP made when you add acc in Ledger LIve ., (You need the 2 PIN set up ) . I am learning too . TO THE MOON ... 🌚 🌝 🌕 PS: not good edea use the Ledger Live pin or the Main ledger ledger pin .

      There are cryptocurrencies that are already working on POS (proof of stake) technology. One of these coins is Prizm (PZM). You simply store coins in your secure wallet and for this you get additional coins constantly, starting from 1 coin. And you can also get an increase in% per month, due to the amount of coins in the wallets that helped activate.

    • @dreampsi2
      @dreampsi2 Před 2 lety +1

      you do not have to move all your funds, you can move whatever you like. yes you can set a passphrase on the base account as well but you are missing the point. This is to add a SECOND account that is basically hidden in case someone puts a gun to your head and demands your ledger seed phrase. So for example, you have a base account with .01 BTC in it but your second secret passphrase account has your 10 BTC in it! If someone steals it and demands the 24 seed words, you give it to them. They access the account and take the .01 BTC and your 10 BTC is safe and all you have to do is get another Ledger but you'll still need to have hidden another copy of the 24 seed phrase words + input your passphrase again and you have access to the 10 BTC.

But my question is, can a hacker with a lot of computer power try to hack into random wallets by trying all possible combinations of the seed words? (Eg what stops a guy from getting a trezor and entering random seed words?) That would make having a passcode a lot more important!

    • @paulr.8365
      @paulr.8365 Před 2 lety

      @Kadu basically a passphrase is an extra password on top of the 24 words which gives access to a completely different wallet. Once one access it this secondary wallet he can use it in the exact way as the main one, hence, the same method to access a coin not supported by ledger live applies in the exact way for both wallets. The good thing about having a secondary wallet is that it is basically stealth and if someone god forbid finds your 24 words he/she won't still be able to access the secondary wallet (unless one write the passphrase right after the 24 words because he/she is afraid to forget it).

    • @paulr.8365
      @paulr.8365 Před 2 lety

      @@kadu9872 setup the Ledger with 24 words and get acquainted. Then you create a second wallet with the passphrase.(You may create as many wallets as you want by using different passphrases). This second wallet can be accessed with the addition of a pin code. Store the majority of your assets into the secondary wallet but never write down anywhere the passphrase. You must remember it or you must store it somewhere far from the 24 words... They can never be together otherwise you are better off by using only the primary wallet.

    • @paulr.8365
      @paulr.8365 Před 2 lety

      @Kadu get acquainted first. Use the regular waller to receive and send Coin with the ledger live and with others procedures based on the specific coin currently unsupported by ledger live. Then create the second wallet and try to send just a few Coins in between the two wallets ( same methods applies). Remember that you are adding another layer of security which brings though more complexity not to underestimate. Another way to be more secure without using the 25th word (pin) would be the following: you setup two identical wallets but into two different ledger nano. One to be used daily and one as a backup. The backup you put it into a super safe location like in a safe deposit bax. No matter where you decide to keep the backup it can never stay in the proximity of the other ledger because let's say someone robs your home or there is a fire both they would be gone for good. Once you have done that you may burn the 24 words. In case of necessity in the future you may recover from one of the two ledgers the 24 words ( an app to be installed into the ledger from leader live). Take care.

    If someone creates a passphrase that's, say 50 characters, are they not relying on future devices' software to support up to 50 characters? e.g. Say 50 years from now ledger goes out of business, you lose your Ledger device and Trezor doesn't support that many characters?

      Safepal soft wallet supports the 25th word passphrase option plus choice of 24 or 12 word recovery phrase. So could use safepal soft wallet to recover funds of a ledger that had extra 25th word protection.

    Hi good video! Can I ask a few questions.
    1. Do you have a different pin set to each see please, is that how you switch between one and another?
    2. The passphrase account has a different set of keys due to the new word added at the end?
    3. Everyone says this is an advanced feature, but it looks relatively simple. Is the only additional risk losing the additional word that makes it a new key? There are no other risks involved, as in, it is not an experimental feature is it?
    🤠

    • @14lou
      @14lou Před rokem +1

      1. There is only one seed phrase + any number of additional passphrases, one of which can e associated with a 2nd PIN, the rest being Temporary.
      2. Yes
      3. It is relatively simple, the only risk is the loss of that additional word (passphrase), which is always needed when using the Temporary option or if performing a full recovery

Or is there still a risk the original passphrase can break. I prefer not to switch account locations but just change passphrase so other person cannot break in

  • @nimnimlight

    • @14lou
      @14lou Před rokem

      The Temporary option requires you to enter that additional passphrase every time you want to access that set of accounts, while the attach to second PIN option makes that unnecessary UNLESS you are performing a full recovery of your wallet.

      To my understanding, if you have removed those accounts from Ledger Live, then yes, you'd need to install the coin app in order to reveal those coins in your portfolio that are associated with that set of accounts (seed phrase, and passphrase, if used)

      The passphrase can be associated with a second PIN, which makes it easy to access those accounts. However, the example given here used the temporary passphrase option.

    A crypto exchange says i will need to "synchronize" my wallet to transfer my crypto currency funds out of my account on their exchange. If I set up two (2) different Ethereum accounts on my Nano X, are BOTH accounts on my Nano X vulnerable if their synchronizing process into my Nano X is fraudulent...? Do you suggest I set up the "hidden" Passphrase on my 2nd Ethereum account on my Nano X for added protection? Thank you!

    • @14lou
      @14lou Před rokem

      Exchanges I know create a "wallet" on their system into which you choose the coins you want to move from your Nano X wallet accounts. I've not heard the term "synchronizing" to achieve this, so I'd be wary of such a procedure without fully understanding what this entails and why.

      You most likely using the wrong passphrase. Ledger cannot tell you if you enter the wrong passphrase at the time you enter it, but you'll get the error you describe when you try to make a transaction. The passphrase is case-sensitive.

    • @CryptoDad
      @CryptoDad  Před 4 lety +1

      john leonard Castigo, No you can choose a different pin each time or the same pin every time. It doesn’t matter. Unless you’re talking about the passphrase that is attached to a pin. I’m not sure how that works after a restore. But I’m pretty sure once you’ve done the restore and accessed the passphrase, you can attach a different pin if you want to.

      you need your 24 BIP39 + 25 PP. if you reset the Nano x and dont have this , your Money is lost . Is why the 24+ 25 words and PP is needed to regain access to your Crypto in the Blockchain . (You get back the Private key to access the accounts in the blockchain). is like a Savings Account Bank Book, but in Bank case they will issue a new Account Bank Book to access your money . hope this helped , i am new too.
