I blame TLG for ruining this set. The original design from the fan looked so much better, sadly he passed shortly before this set was released.
I wasn't aware he died so early! : (
well I don't think TLG is the one to blame, TLG just changed the colour from red to blue, and that's it.
Why doesn’t the studs say lego on it?
Good question! Because of the extreme prices of the first three modulars, I made hybrids of real Lego and second hand knock-offs. If this bothers you, all sets from the Fire Brigade on are 100% real Lego.
