73 Questions With Phoebe Waller-Bridge | Vogue

She’s the level of cool I aspire to be.
How do people get there? Practice? It has to be natural. I am always so jealous of this kind of cool.
Certainly! Me too...!
Hear hear
same):
I just don't find her cool at all. In fact, I find her vaguely irritating. Plus, she's too posh to be cool.
“We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”
― Anais Nin
Thank you!!!
Bob Stein oauis c’est bon
Woah this quote just singlehandedly described the beauty of film and music
Actually a really good quote so inspiring
People do this without writing. There's something more and far greater to writing than this
Anyone have an alarmingly massive crushing crush on this woman? Cause me too
Ha ha i know what u mean😘
Yes......she's bloody gorgeous
@@Bewareofthedog69 More than that, she's just so bloody *cool* . Like, come and hang out with me Phoebe! You know you want to be best friends!
Me too!! She’s inspiring and so enjoyable :) :)
One of those people whose awesome personality really boosts their level of physical attractiveness
"Controllable female anger" then that smile. That. Smile. Is. Everything.
Uncontrollable, surely?
@@jamesrawlings5781 yes and don't call me Shirley
@@madhavagal800 yes, I like Police Squad, too.
it's uncontrollable, for fuck's sake. Controllable female anger doesn't even make sense in the context since she spoke of rage...
@@jamesrawlings5781 airplane! actually
this one actually felt more authentic than the usual 73 questions' set-ups
Cus it is
Yeh she is a very genuine person and does not really put on a fake act, you find most do more so American`s..though the actors walking around like that women in the street saying hi and that guy in the park with the music playing way too obvious lol
I think the line about the fake rehearsal actually through the interviewer off for a sec.
No it didn’t
@@ericg1100 maybe for you... For was it was
Fleabag and Killing Eve are two of the best shows on TV right now. Also, this is one of the best 73 questions. Phoebe is a natural.
clinically natural thats why we laugh
I also liked her tv series "Crashing"
ankita gandhi o
@PietreADI Haha, love your sense of humour!!! After all Phoebe Waller-Bridge is only an Emmy Award and BAFTA winner. She can surely do better next time.
She has the gift
The dinner episode in season 2 of "Fleabag" is a masterpiece in itself. This woman is a massive scripting talent. Hope she writes more.
"Oh, my favourite lampost!"
THIS WOMAN MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS
"What's the best advice that you've completely ignored?"
"Don't eat that"
honestly phoebe, that's mine too
And I read this comment at the exact moment it was said in the video.. 😃
And then she proceeded to eat a mouldy slice of bread lol
@@greyLeicester time?
PANIC, PANIC, HOPE. Love her instantly.
And then MURDER, MURDER, HAIR.
Rob Fraser Love Villanelle
She is awesome
Hi
I adore her writing and perspective, Fleabag was so original in it's concept and delivery Somebody said to me the other evening, "It's good, but no family is like that in real life" I disagree, it's a parody, but a close one, and the sister aspect is brilliantly portrayed by Phoebe and Sian Clifford, an acting match that just works so effortlessly in it's cohesiveness and believability, in fact the chemistry is so real, and the writing so good, you are forgiven for believing they really are sisters. A massive creative talent that has only just begun to show it's obvious writing skills. Phoebe .... you're bloody good aren't you !
Broomehall i cried last night after watching season 2. It was so relatable for people who have to deal with loneliness. One of the best of most relatable shows so far.
Is that somebody lives in a vacuum? In real life it could be a lot worse and there even no hot priest to help you.
Anyone who says no family is like that has clearly has never lived with a dysfunctional family
Yes, there are a lot of families like that in real life.
@@TraminTaiwan exactly. It broke me too. The
" - i don't know what to do with it
- with what?
- with all the love I have for her
- I'll take it, you've to give it to me"
The portrayal was absolutely beautiful. She justified why noone could take Boo's place in her life and why it scarred her forever to have that guilt of her accident on herself."
“Donald Glover is an adorable little kitten.” This makes me so happy.
Awww. That was so sweet what Pheobe said about Donald Glover. 😊😊😊
...he's also Simba
I just feel that if a man was asked how it was working with a woman and he said that, it would look so bad.
@@mch3rro what is wrong with what she said? Nothing. + they're really good friends
can’t believe after so many clueless, hypocritically positive models, you’ve interviewed an actual real person we can all relate to. THANKS!
Not exactly.........
Can't believe how based you are.
I agree with this but you know she’s written these answers. I adore Phoebe and imagine she is the most wonderful person to be around and would be relatable (hence why she writes relatable characters) but this felt like she was playing Fleabag, mostly because it was rehearsed, it is a fabricated sense of relatablity
Such an ignorant comment. Just because you don’t enjoy thous women doesn’t make them any less real or worthy .
Lol shade...
*Who's here after Treat People With Kindness MV?*
Me am literally in love with her nowwww :)
Came because of Harry, stayed because of her
it just came recommended nowwww i love herrr
@@sahana2333 the comment i was looking for LOL
everyone? (almost)
"I think if it's really, truly funny, there really shouldn't be a difference [between American and British humor]." YES. THANK YOU. I've always insisted that, especially now in today's more evolved comedy world. This woman is what comedy needs right now. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is my new spirit animal.
yes, but that answer is a bit of a cop out, know what i mean. Ther are indeed strong differences between our styles of humour that may have been blurred a bit today, but they are still there
She was being polite mate. Let me know when you don't take her favorite swear word so seriously, then we'll talk about evolution ;-)
I was hoping some shade in US humor :(
@@JohnLutherable I mean, of course a British person would say that. You inherently believe that your humor is better.
@@cahinton. I dont necessarly think it is, neither have I said that, there are waves of examples of brilliant American comedy. But I do prefer our brand, that's for sure; one Chris Morris is worth a thousand Jerry Seinfeld, in my book
So basically she is the same person in the tv show as she is in real life. A hopeful mess. Love it.
I'm half way through series two of Fleabag and frankly I can't remember seeing anything that amazed me quite that much. So many jaw dropping moments of comedic genius.
Phoebe Waller Bridge is what Lena Dunham tried to be but failed miserably.
Funny.
O Tom not fair
it's like comparing oxygen to mosquitoes
theyre nothing alike
Phoebe has class.
She's the coolest person I ever seen
“Ooh, my favorite lamppost.” 😂 She’s great

It's humanly impossible not to love her. She's just amazing, not affected at all, she's just herself and she's so amazing.
Only Phoebe could make the most awkward interview series on the internet seem so genuine and real. God, she's amazing ❤️ I hope I'll be as cool as her one day!
Just found her because Jodie Comer couldn't stop talking about her. And she's absolutlely right, Phoebe is amazing
literally same
I felt the interviewer was genuinely so excited about meeting her, and giving her his draft was such a cute moment. Phoebe was so happy. I love phoebe and fleabag is such a great show!!
Looking directly into camera: 'Get out of bed!'
Guys, I think she saw me...
Even if this is scripted, its written by Pheobe, this has class to it.
This is the most genuine and _normal_ 73 Q's video I've watched in a long time. _She's such a happy bird_ 😄
Ayu Done prob because she’s British!
Fleabag will be deeply missed 😥👏🏻🥰
They said fleabag might not be over
@@beautifultragedy1644 i wish😊
Just watched season 2
The perfect human does not exi...
I have another question for Pheobe: " Why....just why didn't you write Killing Eve Season 4?"
This is the first one I actually liked. And she makes a bit of effort to not come across as though it's all rehearsed. And she's really funny! ^^
“Who is the most stylish real person?”
“Bill Nighy.”
I’m dead. 😂
I heard Bill Nye 😂
I totally agree with her!
I'm absolutely glad she said that
Haha when he started to hand her the script to read my eyes IMMEDIATELY locked in to that trash can in the background. I wasn't disappointed
Why didnt he ask if she was a model ! Bless her
She's amazing
because that would make it 74 questions..
Oh, i love her so much! "Fleabag" is a masterpiece.
"Uncontrollable, violent, female anger (smiles)"
Honestly I really love her expressions. Generally I hate when the characters break the 4th wall talking directly to the camera, but there are some cases I like it. This is one. Her faces are awesome.
Can you give me examples where it's been done before?
@@mayrainmusic Trainspotting, American Psycho, Funny Games, Fight Club, Austin Powers, A Clockwork Orange, The Wolf of Wall street

AHHAHAHAHHA HAHAHAHA AFREENNNN! HEY AGAIN BAHAHHAHHAH
So... lucky you
This woman has more talent and charm in her pinky finger than most of us will have in our whole lifetimes.
Her beauty advice put into words what I’ve been practicing for years and it was a wonderfully validating moment. “Don’t overthink it. But also-eyebrows.”
Her face is so funny when she hears him reference the wrong artist for her karaoke song! You're awesome Phoebe!
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is one of those people who's made 10x more attractive by her personality
She's simply the best. Authentic to her core and mega talented
Treat people with kindness
What a person. She can confidently answer No to "any regrets in life" and therefore she's basically a goddess to me.
Don't overthink it, but also eyebrows XD
Can you please explain this quote? I don't understand tbf😂
Did anyone not see that she chucked the script in the bin at the end? LMAO😂😂
She seems so similar to her character in Fleabag, love it!
Maddie Rice (who played Fleabag on the tour) also played NEEDY WAITRESS in season 2!
Ohhhh yes!
She has the funniest, quirkiest expressions... and so genuine! Love her!
"we write to taste life twice". Beautiful
This is so underrated. Pheobe is such a darling, so authentic. And I totally agree, Villanelle is the most stylish character
That passer-by was so cool, "hi phoebe" I would have been on the floor trying to hold onto her ankles sobbing "I am not worthy". Its why PWB will never come to Llantrisant. Sigh.
She's fantastic! Thanks for featuring her.
Let’s Treat People With Kindness
Man, she's fantastic. Such comedic genius!
she's so wonderful, witty, clever and talented. best 73 questions ever
Really intelligent woman and carries it so easy. Massive talent.
This is the best "73 Questions" I've ever seen. No stupid comments, very interesting questions and an awesome sense of humour. Finally, someone I can look up to. I loved it.
she's like one of those artsy women that are friends with my dad and really intimidate me despite being really sweet. love the vibes
I can't praise Phoebe Waller-Bridge enough. Such a genuis comedian.
"Panic, panic, hope" Ngl that's kind of true for writing. At least for me it is if i'm writing something 😂😂😂
3:10 it's the needy waitress!!
Oh my god, it is! Good eye!
“We write to taste life twice.”
Oh my god THANKS for this! I love Phoebe! Fleabag is SO good and I also loved her on Crashing. She's so... luminous. Brings so much light when she acts, and also here on the streets of London. Love!
funny cause I absolutely can't stand her face thanks to Crashing. lol I was so pressed that her and her best friend screwed his gf over
@@PERRYOL Haha I was rooting for her! I really disliked the other girl!
Making someone laugh so hard that their boob pops out. New life goal.
Sharp mind and wicked sense humour . Her one woman show was amazing .
"ALWAYS smell good" that's actually great advice
I love her, she was so genuine and quirky - more british celebritires pleaseeee// oh and maybe 73 questions with florence welch?
she’s such a cool person to watch.. crashing and fleabag we’re absolutely amazing, wish they’d made more seasons ):
killing eve: "murder murder hair" fleabag: "HAIR - IS - EVERYTHING!"
It’s the difference between a good day and a bad day 😂
I will forever be haunted by him not asking if she's a model -- SOMEBODY PLEASE ASK HER
Phoebe is another level of amazing. And this is the best 73 questions episode ever!
Watching someone touch things on the street is so weird in quarantine lol
Alsooo loved Crashing. Phoebe is a natural in any setting!! So intelligent ✨
When she threw the script into the bin skssks. I am 100% sure that was meant to be.
“Don’t overthink it, but also- eyebrows.”
I adore this woman.
I cannot get enough of this woman. Just brilliant!!
It's sad how half her Humour goes unheard
I just finished two seasons of Fleabag with laugh and tears on my face (we need more Fleabag! 😭😭)
and then when I was very sure that I couldn't adore PWB more than I already have, this video showed up on my reccomendation. Hands down, this is the most natural, easy going, 73 Questions that I have ever watched so far! 👏👏

After watching this, I think you're either a little bit in love with her, or you are dead inside.
what if I'm both
Crashing, Fleabag, Killing Eve: my holy trinity
At first I read this as Crashing, Fleabag, and Killing; with Eve saying “my holy trinity” 😂
Loved her in “Crashing“.
amazing. one of the best of the interviews. even being rehearsed tracee made it look natural almost all of the time. great.
God she is a magnet ! such a personality! Can’t get enough of her! Leaves the feeling of inspiration! Also she is so free and at ease and at the same time soooo natural! I a,pm in loooove
“My favorite lamppost.” God I love this woman.
She's one of the most talented in the entertainment industry but at the same time she looks sooo chill and fun to be with, it's curious.
Ah Soho theatre. Spent a month there with a show on tour and it was amazing :) its right in the centre of London and the theatre has a staff only balcony so you can sit and watch London go by while you have a cup of tea. Magic.
How can one not fall for her? She is too adorable and witty 😍
Shes so beautiful, perfection in my eyes
Can we stfu about Timothee Chalamet and appreciate the wonder that is Phoebe Waller-Bridge for a minute.
