wow, nice run!! inspired me to give it another try on next reset. one thing tho, the A wakamo you borrowed is UE50, this is very evident with her SS mood and total dmg dealt in the end so you could probably edit that if you want. Generally, you can tell what UE an assistance student is by checking their stats. UE30 is if the student has no "+" on their enhanced skill. UE40 is if you see the "+" on the student's enhanced skill and UE50 is if you see an SS mood. of course there are certain exceptions such as some students not having SS mood on UE50 but instead turning a yellow/red mood into green/yellow mood respectively. you can also make an argument that what if the sensei lending out their student didnt level the student's UE, hence the UE?? which is a fair debate but to that I'd say who the heck would grief your club by not leveling your student's UE once you've unlocked it xD

I can't do Insane, only up to Extreme since I'm not high level, but if I'd had to pick a support unit for the raid would you recommend S.Azuza or Wakamo? (I have neither). My current team is S.Hoshino, S.Izuna, Haruna (can be swapped with regular izuna) for strikers and both Shizukos for specials.

I think for lower difficulties, a strong borrow like Summer Azusa or Summer Izuna would solve most of your problems, given that you give them some buffs with other skills

I'm gonna try to go up to Extreme tomorrow, if my squad is okay going without a healer I want to try and stack Kotama and S.Hoshino to go further! Probably not gonna work though, skill costs are pretty big, but I still wanna try it.
Summer Izuna gets better mood in this terrain, while base Izuna has the worst mood in this, so usually Summer Izuna works better, but if you have a better Summer Azusa she's the queen of this raid, with Wakamo coming close second. The Izunas are mostly filler units (in this specific terrain), but the Summer version has utility and better damage without needing to use her EX skill, which is why she is preferred besides the mood part I already mentioned.
Try one step at a time. You might not be able to if you try to build units for every single raid, so try to take it at on your own pace and you'll get there eventually.
do i need wakamo ue50 and izuna ue40 both? i want to try this but not sure if it will work or not... im fine with 2pan for leftover dmg but dont kniw what to use in team 2,,
For 1 pan, you either need both UE40 S.Azusa and Wakamo (UE30 S.Izuna probably works fine in this case), or one of them UE50 and the other one UE30, but haven't tried that with UE30 S.Izuna. In that case you might be left over with 1-2m HP on Kuro, but leftover teams aren't hard to come by. You can do something like Izuna buffed by Ako and Kotama for second team, with filler units like Maki and Asuna for AA, and maybe one tank for the carts. Shouldn't be stressful.
Thanks. What are the stats on your Shizuko? Make sure you're not cancelling her skill right before Shiro drops the balls, otherwise she won't be able to reflect both of them.
To reflect the ball, you need to meet a few requirements. Firstly, the combination of your Shizuko max HP and EX skill level will influence the HP of the cover, if the cover has more HP than the damage the rolling ball does, it will reflect the ball. Secondly you want to let Shizuko use her Basic skill to lower Shiro's damage so you can reflect the ball with less investment, she'll use it right before the first ball so make sure to not cancel it with her EX skill. schale.gg/?chara=Shizuko You can click on "details" on this website to see how much HP your shizuko has, at the top right section there's a toggle for her stats and the cover stats. For best results level her Basic to 5. If the debuff from her Basic is up, you need 14k HP on cover to block a single ball, 28k for both. If the debuff was cancelled then you need 16,5k and 33k, which costs considerably more.

Go to schale.gg/?chara=Shizuko, click the details button. On the top right side, click on the arrow next to her name to change to the Cover attributes. The most economic way to raise her is raising her EX to 4, you can do that under the Buffs section. That reduces the requirements for EXP levels, stars, gears and bond. Go back to attributes and tweak the EXP levels, stars, gears, and bond values so the cover has 28k Max HP. That also requires Basic at lvl 5, if you don't cancel her Basic with the EX skill at 3m10s (00:32 in this video), she will bounce both balls. About S.Azusa, you can try Michiru, T.Hasumi, Asuna, base Izuna, C.Utaha, thought none of those will come close to her, honestly. And for one team clears, you might wanna consider not using both Shizukos but using T.Yuuka instead so you can fill in Ako, Himari or NY.Fuuka as specialists, or someone else if you wanna experiment with. czcams.com/video/xm_yMPwrKKM/video.html here's an example, although this is not an "easy" run by any means, those specials are overall better if you're doing a single team. Not at all, it's just that I farmed a lot on this event. But I would argue that the more built she is, the comfier it becomes when you have to deal with lots of bad bomb rng. For now I'd say UE40 3x7x T6 necklace S.Shizuko is enough (you might wanna raise her in the future for Goz), but bare minimum would be like UE30 to still soak some damage. Her EX saved me a lot here.
That is if you can't avoid getting hit. If you have a different setup that can avoid bombs alltogether then her shield is not really a decisive factor.
What strats are you using, cause for insane, it's usually better to borrow a stacked DPS unit instead. S.Shizuko will only make phase 1 more comfy, but you still need a lot of damage to get both phases done quickly.

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure on it. The best you can do is go into mock battle with each one. I think they're both equally great borrows.

Yeah, unlocks after 5 stars. Each rank gives a rather substantial buff to the student so it's a noticeable difference.
Kotama and S.Hoshi should stack, yes.
