Yes, agree about everything you said about Jimin. On top of how perfectly he performs this, the song itself is structured brilliantly. Jimin is my favorite. I think his performances are special. His voice is one of a kind. His dance skill is unparalleled. I think it has to do with his training in Modern Dance. That was his major in school and he had a brilliant career ahead of him until he auditioned for Big Hit. He had no hip hop or vocal training. Every singer has off days. Haters love to cherry-pick and amplify those performances that have issues, while ignoring the literal hundreds of spectacular performances that Jimin has delivered. Nevermind the fact that he is a dancer first, singer second. The cuts here are likely to get past the copyright so it's a blend of a number of different performances pieced together to create a "stage mix". Any use of their Japanese concert content gets strikes a lot. He does do a more fuller performance truly blindfolded for one of the Award performances in a collaboration dance with Hobi. The blindfold in that case was so dark that their performance director had to lead him onto the stage just before the performance started. He does turns and a body roll within that performance that is insane! Agree totally about wanting to hear him on a rock song. I've been a life long rock fan and out of all of the members he is the one I really, really want to hear on a rock song. A deleted song from his solo album sounded like it was going to be a rock song, but it didn't fit with the overall flow so they didn't include it. We heard snippets of it in his album making documentary. He's also great at those rock growls and brings them out during some live performances. Lie is a song I want tattooed on my whole body. It speaks so much to me and the stage direction here with the verses with the red lighting and then the chorus in the major key (which might be the lie) goes back to the pure white light when he sings the lines about returning to the 'pure him' of the past. I loved in Set Me Free Part 2 choreography that they referenced the lift here in Lie with another lift and the same hand motion in SMFP2.
Yeah, you reacted to Lie!! Yes, that'll be so cool to see Jimin doing Rock. I personally like Jimin's low register voice or when he growls like a rock star. And I know Jimin, including BTS, use background tracks for their best performances, but that doesn't mean he or they can't sing. As a visual artist, I always appreciate how Jimin can convey narrative and emotions through his dance. I can even get emotional just by watching him perform without any sound. Every singer has off days. Haters love to cherry-pick and amplify those performances that have issues, while ignoring the literal hundreds of spectacular performances that Jimin has delivered. Nevermind the fact that he is a dancer first, singer second. He always prioritizes his visual performance above all else... so he ends up with these crazy ambitious choreographies to do while singing... and damn near always pulls it off flawlessly. He's incredible.

The cuts here are likely to get past the copyright so it's a blend of a number of different performances pieced together to create a "stage mix". Any use of their Japanese concert content gets strikes a lot.
He does do a more fuller performance truly blindfolded for one of the Award performances in a collaboration dance with Hobi. The blindfold in that case was so dark that their performance director had to lead him onto the stage just before the performance started. He does turns and a body roll within that performance that is insane!
Agree totally about wanting to hear him on a rock song. I've been a life long rock fan and out of all of the members he is the one I really, really want to hear on a rock song. A deleted song from his solo album sounded like it was going to be a rock song, but it didn't fit with the overall flow so they didn't include it. We heard snippets of it in his album making documentary. He's also great at those rock growls and brings them out during some live performances.
Lie is a song I want tattooed on my whole body. It speaks so much to me and the stage direction here with the verses with the red lighting and then the chorus in the major key (which might be the lie) goes back to the pure white light when he sings the lines about returning to the 'pure him' of the past. I loved in Set Me Free Part 2 choreography that they referenced the lift here in Lie with another lift and the same hand motion in SMFP2.
SET ME FREE PT2 would be a great recommendation if you wanna listen to jimin singing rock and roll type of songs I'm sure you'll love it😍🔥🔥🔥💜

Yeah, you reacted to Lie!! Yes, that'll be so cool to see Jimin doing Rock. I personally like Jimin's low register voice or when he growls like a rock star. And I know Jimin, including BTS, use background tracks for their best performances, but that doesn't mean he or they can't sing. As a visual artist, I always appreciate how Jimin can convey narrative and emotions through his dance. I can even get emotional just by watching him perform without any sound.
