Thought I would share. If a dish has a candle in it, if you put it in the freezer upside down for a little bit the candle will fall out.
My mom had that Avon jar in 1971 & my sister wanted it when my mama passed, mama kept her Bobbie pins in it, she always pinned curled her hair, thanks for the memory❤
My mom & Aunt each used the Avon jar for Bobby pins! I recognized it immediately!

I’m not near any good thrift stores so watching your content really educates me on what something is worth. Anytime you want to remove candle wax from a container put it in the freezer and you can remove wax in chunks
FYI. Its always best to pickup baskets at the botton not the handle. I learned the hard way. I Broke a beautiful Capodimonte basket picking it up by the handle. The handle broke and it fell to the floor and shattered. Broke my heart too. My mother had given it to me.

When donating it would be good if people tape the lid to the items, as most are separated when they are placed on the shelves.
Many of the donations may originate from the lid being broken and thrown out. There is no lid left to tape onto the base.

The dragon cup should have a cobalt blue glass insert.
You walked passed the large blue dragon in the glass section. Sometimes those things are worth some money.
Those were shrimp cocktail serving glasses missing the insert for the shimp and sauce.... not brandy snifters.
I think you missed the other little cut crystal dish. It was inside another bowl on the middle of the shelf.

There is so many things from dollar tree stores and they mark them for 3 dollars or more. I’m glad I visit DT😂😂😂
My local Goodwill prices a lot of DT items at $6.99! I will let the store manager know that they come from dollar tree, but they never adjust the price. It’s ridiculous. I don’t think I’ve seen anything priced for less than $4.99 in over 4 years.

My fav is the small crystal dish and the cobalt glasses. The piece you thought was Hersey was pretty but I'm not sure if any of their pieces were painted. You can find the H on the bottom.

You could have a lot of artsy fartsy fun decorating those parasols for the book ends. You could dip them in weak tea and dry to age them, bedazzle with seed pearls and tiny rhinestones from broken jewelry and border the edges with tiny lace or ribbons from old baby clothes. ✌

Just wondering if I'm missing something. I've only sold on Ebay, but all on line platforms have some kind of similar fee structure. Once you add in gas and travel to source things, plus shipping materials, I don't see how you make money listing things for under $30.00.

You can tell they’re scammers because their profile pic is of a woman in a bathing suit top or bra & when you click on their profile picture, it brings you to a risqué chat room. They also always make the same comment over & over again & use the same profile pic but with a different username. Anyway, I’m sure you are aware of them, I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case you weren’t. 😊
