Fabulous, it was high drag. People get so up in their feelings about this stuff but it is at the end of the day a reality tv show and we are all talking about it so it was a great moment of telly! Loved it.

I agree that the premise of ‘oh you had seven months to prepare and improve’ is a little unfair. Most of them probably had no work or had to scramble to find work and couldn’t afford to buy new looks or materials to try to improve them. And Veronica’s comment about struggling with mental health is also a real thing. Sometimes I think the judges are a bit out of touch with what these queens have to deal with.
I agree too- just cuz they had a break dose not mean they had extra money to throw around. It really felt like the judges expected a ton of improvement.

Agreed! As well as that the UK drag scene isn't like the American one... It's a lot harder over here to make a living purely off of drag as a performer only, hence why a lot of people have other jobs. Ru is there in his million dollar house, making bank just by showing his face... I think he's a bit out of touch to how people actually have to live.
For sure. RuPaul and Michelle Visage are pretty famously out of touch. Also, no, they didn't have 7 months to prepare: there was a global pandemic happening and thousands of people died and are still dying from it. I do also wish they mentioned how Veronica was doing: obviously she's fine now, but was she asymptomatic or did it get bad for her?

I commend Joe so highly for trying so hard to regain their runway outfits back in such a short amount of time, and I commend Veronica for being able to pull out of that depressive time and bounce back so well. Hopefully this is not the last time we see these queens, no doubt the mental rollercoaster they went through is insane.
Also on Joes last video my wish was that the twist of the season was their return so my wish came true! Even if just for one more episode
Joe will most likely suceeds outside the show and Ru already say that Veronica has an open invitation for next season. So we sure will see much more of both of them

Who cares if the dress was from H&M? It was a nice dress and the challenge wasn't to create anything. Thought that entire thing was a bit offensive tbh. Not every queen has the income, time or sewing ability to make everything custom. Not everyone has the money to afford clothes beyond the high street.
Ru has been spoilt by the massive US drag scene and opportunities that come with it. Joe getting more unfair criticism than LaLa and her not even finished gift bag corset.

This weeks challenge in the US show, Kandy wore an Off The Rack dress. Literally a PLT shiny pink cut out mini dress, which was also a bootleg Kim K look. Ru didn’t have anything to say about that? I don’t think an acting challenge and a performance challenge are very different in regards to the outfits don’t really matter, unless they make sense.
Both outfits made sense.
Ru complained that it looked off the rack, and it needed to be styled and embellished so it didn’t literally look straight off the rack

She definitely improved her makeup skills, she draws fuller lips, has more defined contour, cleaner and bolder eyeshadow, etc. I really hope she comes back to season 3 to show how much shes improved :)

I'm honestly enjoy watching UK drag race season 2 than drag race season 13. Especially after this last episode when they dropped iconic moments.
Yesssss. Season 13 feels lacking like it feels like a lot of these queens are so distant from each other. I feel like I don't get enough footage of them collaborating. There were moments with Utica, tamisha, and Elliott I treasure. However this season has got me in LOVE with each and every queen. Tia I love you lots!!!! But idk if you'll ever see this but anyway haha, all of these queens are so amazing and inspirational and have all worked together. Just wish to see more of sister sister, she feels like the only one I haven't truly understood

As long as she accepts lol she has to clear her schedule and make sure shes readily available and it takes alot of time and work for a show rhat might not bring back anything for the work you put in (especyif you work a corporate job) i just hope she can

I watched the "Queens on Lockdown" and I was relating to Veronica virtually the whole time because I already had mental health problems but the start of the pandemic really knocked me for six, I had to for the first time in my life go on medication so when I watching Veronica I was like "That was me!!!" I really felt for Veronica 💚
As for the Joe/H&M situation I was like "Ru are you having a laugh!? It wasn't even really on the runway! Trust me I've watched Eurovision my whole life and I can honestly tell you that look wasn't even that bad! I've seen worse and that's coming from someone who hates the colour pink!"

Ginny Voted Veronica because she called out Ginny's behavior walking off instead of lip synching because she was in the bottom. It was in bad taste and Veronica knew that, I agreed with a lot of Veronica's takes on situations.

Coming from NZ I really love the UK queens, more down to earth and not so stuffy as the US version.
These queens are just SO much heart, creativity, gorgeous inside and out! UK has this game in the bag y’all.
I really hated RuPaul's reaction to Joe and Tia's looks, this was very aggressive, overly dramatic and totally uncalled for, especially since most of the UK queens are delightful and genuinely nice (love Tia, Joe and Veronica).
you three should give commentary on every episode. You are all very seasoned and the viewers would value your feedback. I would tune in every week to watch you.
Keep this going and you should do the USA episodes as well.
I have subscribed and I hope you three will consider this as there is a lot of talent here.

Veronica on point here. One store bought look wins a runway challenge and the other worn in a group challenge in an affront to drag?
Clearly they didn't have the same effect. Joe's outfit LOOKED like it was off the rack. We wouldn't have known Asttina's look was off the rack if the other queen didn't say it was. Also it looked much more put together and like more effort was put into it.
I wish people would rewatch the clips and reread the challenges. Ru said that if it is HM, stone it and add extra to it so that it looks like something presented on the runway. I criticize Ru for a lot, but I agree with her on this. Astina was during a streetwear look for a hometown runway challenge (where she also wear another look). I’ve been to Asstina’s neighborhood before and that was a pretty accurate depiction of what girls she grew up with looked like.
Explain to me why they told Joe Black he was coming back 3 weeks in advance of filming but that Veronica was only told she couldn't take part 3 days before. Were they going to bring someone back even if Veronica had stayed?

Maybe they told the eliminated queens they could come back as a precaution if one of the queens did get covid?
I think all queens were told by then. I think the 3 week advancement was for everyone to self isolate and all the eliminated queens were probably making a cameo.
Everyone had to isolate and get tested before coming back to set, so Veronica had at least two weeks to prepare too but eventually just caught covid towards the end.
I assume they were planning to return a queen either way

well tbh lala ri was read to filth for that bag look and its deemed as the worst look/one of the worst in drag race, she only won the lipsync because she did better not because they liked her look.
but i agree with the rest, i understand why Ru was mad at the dress and that Joe couldve made it more unique and jazzed it up but idk why they were judged so harshly on something that wasnt the main focus of the challenge, especially during a pandemic ://

I enjoyed drag race more when it didn't matter how you looked in the challenge (unless its a sewing challenge but that kinda makes sense) and looks be more needed for runways
@S.C Haus You are the idiot. We are watching Drag for the talented queens competing on it, not because of RuPaul. If Ru wasn't part of it, we would still watch. Drace Race Thailand, Holland and Canada are examples of this.

I think there are several reasons: She has shady confessionals, she has/had depression, she is very competitive and has some insecurities which is why she blamed other people for her mediocre effort in some instances like the news challenge with Veronica.
