I recall in the documentary, Brian and Roger said their catalogue of songs is vast, and Adam is the only one that could sing all the genres, Rock, pop , the ballads etc … and regards this song, Roger said, he’s never heard this song sang like this, with the emotion Adam put in due to what happened in Orlando… he also stated, he doesn’t know anyone who can out sing Adam lambert.
In the doc they did, Adam said when the shooting happened at the The Pulse nightclub he couldn't help think that it could have been his friends who were shot, it could have been him. That really powered the emotion of that performance.

Nah, we're not even biased. It would be biased if we only thought it deserved a 1000 because we're Glamberts when it actually didn't deserve a 1000. But the opposite is true. We're Glamberts because we recognize his immense and undisputable talent. And of course for his personality etc. but that's not my point here. 😄🤗

Adam Lambert with Queen pays homage to Freddy. Adam is not trying to be Freddy, he is just paying tribute to the music, and in the most amazing way. That's why they have been selling out stadiums for a decade!!
There were people in that audience who hadn't been born when Freddie died. Adam has the vocal range and the stage presence to do justice to the music and keep it alive for a new generation of fans.
Adam Lambert is a legend in his own right! Just an unbelievable, „out of this world“ singer! What a stage presence! A true star 💫!!!!
Thanks to Madison and this channel ! 🎉 Brian May said that this performance was one for the ages. Roger Taylor said he had never heard the song performed that way before. At one point, Roger had tears in his eyes. Adam was reeling from the Pulse Nightclub massacre of the night before. His community was attacked in what was the largest mass shooting in U.S. History until the Las Vegas festival. Adam has said that he didn’t know what was going to come out of his mouth when he got ready to give this performance. And look what did: he can give us chills from the outset, as you yourself said you felt, BP1. Why are you looking for reasons to not give this performance a 10, BP1? 🧐.

OMG, this song always gives me chills and a bit of watery eyes.
I'm not shocked by any means that Adam nailed this beyond measure.
💯 BP1, Freddie was Freddie and that will never be duplicated.
However, Adam honors Freddie and the other artist that he covers.
He's referring to the gunmen who opened fire at a gay nightclub called Pulse in 2016.
He killed 49 people and wounded 53 others.
Of course it's a 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a very young Adam Lambert, listen to “Come to me, bend to me” from the musical Brigadoon. He was 22. For another, when he was 24, look for “is anybody listening” from Val Kilmer’s musical 10 Commandments. Both are beautiful.

Adam is goosebump inducing to watch on CZcams clips, but when you see him live, the feeling you get is out of this world! His voice to so stratospheric, it reverberates through your chest….completely spine tingling ! He’s also a beautiful, humble human being. Love that man! Love this performance….one of my faves. My other fave is him singing Cher’s Believe at the 41st Annual Kennedy Honours. 😮

Best performance of this song he did so far in my opinion. No matter how often I listen to it I always get a little teary and goosebumps run over my body. He is just so good. And he is such a kind soul too… Glad I found him to warship him and enjoy his music :-)

I’ve seen this performance over and over again and each time it’s like the first time. it’s amazing! Adam Lambert is one of the best singers I’ve ever heard but in the same way, Freddie is one of the best singers I’ve ever heard, too. They are both different, but they are both great

BP2 don't be so hard on yourself, androgynous fashion and styling is as much a part of music as headbands and long hair for men in the 60's was. I'm just glad the leg warmers era is over..never got that one??😁 I was always surprised at how quickly fashion trends switched up with the musical era. It's such an epic song, and Adam does a bang up job of it. One of my favourite (if not THE favorite) Queen songs. People don't always remember that all four Queen members wrote the songs.
Nothing and nobody will ever beat Freddie on ANY Queen song, but this young man is I think the perfect person to carry on the legend. 😊

Brian wrote most of Queen's songs, Roger many, Freddie wrote a few and John wrote a couple (including the money-maker, Another One Bites the Dust).
Freddie wrote the most songs, but Brian wrote a very close second, while Roger and John also had hits.

Never heard Adam sing this but I love it. Shied away from his Queen songs. I Loved the tribute he sang to Cher though.

Good but missing all the dripping sweat and sincere passion of Freddie.
Nobody can replace Freddie...but Adam, I think in his own way is honoring him...
I can't image how you don't feel the passion and emotion in Adam's version. Adam sweats plenty after a singing a two-hour set with Queen, but he is classically trained so he doesn't have to work his voice as hard as Freddie did.
I feel much more passion in Adam's interpretation.
Unfortunately for Freddie he was having problems with nodules on his vocal chords plus smoking. He always gave 100percent to his audiences. That is why he would pass on singing this at every show. Queen has always been willing to change during their shows and Freddie let them know if he could sing this song. For his part Adam sings this and The Show Must Go On night after night. That's where all his years of vocal training come in. They are both incredible singers and how lucky for us that they both are a part of Queen's legacy.
