  • My name is Keith Newton, and I have been a professional woodworker for several decades now. I've made everything from dining tables to custom guitars and violins. In this video, I work on a custom black walnut dining table with a butterfly.

That's classic , when my daughter dated a bone head . Love it.

I like the way you work, here's the problem and here's the fix. I could really use that inch and eighth belt sander for all those board end nubs. Thanks for all your time and effort. 1in7

Guess that explains one butterfly. You won’t have to stress that someone’s gonna carry it by that. Very nice. I’ve used that saw for splitting 8/4 walnut that was too wide on end for the table saw but never gave it a thought on other stuff.

You work with a bang around precision that exemplifies your experience in the craft. Those of us unsure of the tolerations of wood/tools would be so much gentler haha. I pity the bonehead as I don’t think you suffer fools much. May I ask if your camerawork is done by your wife? As shown in past videos, she is a great partner in your progress. Thank you.

I have a media guy that comes over 2x a week to do shoots. He then does everything else. A great start to a as it seems growing staff.

I would so mess that up! I don't have a sawsall so I'll stick with my marking knife, chisel, and hogging out with a router. Hahah Did you fill the gap between the two slabs?

Hi Keith! Will you make a video on how you use your spray guns? I’m curious if i’m able to get away with one of these instead of buying a hvlp set up. Would really like to know more about the use of battery operated spray guns and what they can do for fine work.
