Aprilia RSV4 RF - How to change spark plugs and air box filter - First Service

  • 2017 Limited Edition Aprilia RSV4 RF spark plug change and air box filter replacement. Changed after one year and 12k. ‘First service’.
    What’s Needed:
    -allen keys (preferably long)
    -pry tool (optional)
    -Phillips screwdriver (short and long)
    -pliers / side cutters
    -electrical tape
    -shop rags
    -anti seize
    -dielectric grease
    -5/8 spark plug socket and ratchet
    -spark plugs (OEM or NGK iridium)
    -Air box filter (OEM or K&N)

    the oem ones have same size cap and its non removable on oem plug... why would you remove it?

    Thats the most negative part with rsv4 that u dont have seperate tank cover :&

      One of the easiest bikes I’ve worked on but yeah it was a design flaw Aprilia made

      They had a few track days on them and it was getting ready for winter storage. So she’s ready for the next riding season
