You must have allotted a lot of time in convincing people to participate on interviews like this. A big kudos to you always for producing quality content.
You don't have to involve there those 3 equal having a difficult conflict from histories back to time and from
other times so that's the mission of intellegence settling remember colonialism?
So if you will go back from ww2 no settlement of arrangement but if you aware that accept it from patriotism in our south Country before what foreign did.
If you have any right concern you have
to be an ofw from homogenizing.
@@mypet330 bro wtf are you on about?
@@mypet330 are you having a stroke?
Are you alright mate?
I didnt understand a single thing. You sure you are on the right video? Your sentence was so gibberish that it has to be written with google translate or you are a bot that just mashes random words together.
@@mypet330 I agree with your point 👍🏽
Well, I’ve only dated one Japanese woman (she’s my wife now) but what mostly caused problems was the difference in communication style. She often seemed disappointed when I couldn’t ‘read’ her expectations, whereas where I’m from (Canada), people tend to just state what they want or expect from one another. Usually.? 😆 Well, I guess dating is never easy no matter where you’re from!
That's actually same with my crush. He is actually more honest but at the same time he keeps a lot inside and expressing emotions for him is very difficult. However when I ask him to be more straight forward with me and when he sees that I can't understand what is wrong he either expresses or just accepts that I can't read between the lines even if my life depended on it. But at the same time he shows he cares for me with his actions so I still feel cared for. The communication indeed is tricky but can be worked on if both parties put effort in.
@@ganndalf202 This sounds familiar. But yes, it just takes a little extra effort (initially) to make it work. 🍻
@@Jordan-inJapan Yeah, maybe it's the culture. I'm also an emotional and traumatized person so to this day I still end up asking him if he is angry when I feel like he is shutting down and stuff because I can never tell his feelings. But at the same time he is an amazing listener which helps my chaotic and traumatized personality. What I found helpful is to just learn to express your own feelings and just ask how the other person feels becasue in my case I just can't tell, even if I try hard. So it really takes a little bit more effort. Good luck on your marriage. I hope you two will be happy forever.
Heh, I'm no "professional psychologist", but I'm sure you found a way: Your attitude is always so positive and upbeat and I'm sure of all things that helps everyone around you feel with "positive vibes"!
With that said, my thinking is Japanese expect people to do the HARD THINKING (Think Hard Lifting of Weights!) to express love. In the West, it's not thought out like that: In the West it's much more about: I emote this and you respond thus and then we both feel these together...".
As I said I think they expect a bit more "heavy-lifting"? One way to maybe cheat the system is invent indirect communication cues: If she has this emotion eg sad then the symbol for her expressing that is she perhaps puts her left chopstick pointing towards the flower-vase... and then extend the system for other emotions and variations to build up a tidy system of 100 such... ! Hey it's about having fun together as you share life with each other afterall? And pull each other up.
Yeah I’ve noticed this with most girls from Asia I have dated
" It's not worth being in Japan if you don't talk to Japanese people " I like that.
It's very true, I see soo many videos of people working and living abroad but don't speak he language of the country. Yes I understand that English is the world's second language but I think it's important and respectful to learn the language and culture of the country you live in rather than vice versa. Plus there's no better way to practice than with those that speak the language in normal everyday conversations.
@@smash44556677 exactly 💯
for him and most of us but just live however you like to live bro.
why? japanese language is a torture to learn
@@smash44556677people like you really cant understand how difficult the language really is and how not being able to communicate with people can make you very introverted and insecure so it's hard to speak to other people
It seems like most of the foreign people that are interviewed have lived in Japan for a short time (less than 5 years). I would be curious to see interviews from foreign people who have lived in Japan for a longer time period (10+ years) to get their perspective on the culture and how living in the country has changed them. Keep up the great content Takashii.
He has interviewed a couple foreigners who’ve been in Japan for 10+ years but I don’t remember which one exactly
After the honeymoon japan repeat itself like another african country . You can only live near tokyo or other turistic zones , true japan is worse and full of racism
Difficult to get interviews with long-time foreign residents because they probably avoid people looking to interview foreigners.
Hi!!!
Please give me any video idea!!
From next video I’m gonna upload videos filmed in Osaka and Kyoto.
Im sooo excited to share it with you guys!
Stay tuned!!!!
about food? idk lol
Ask japanese people on their thoughts about weaboos
Ask Japanese about Japan's female rock bands.
I'd love to hear what Kansai people think about Tokyo people.
Queer dating in japan pleae!
I always smile when I hear Takashii and his guest swap to Japanese from English especially in videos like this where some guests even know a 3rd language. It's just impressive. I'm a silly monolingual American so I'll never not be impressed by this.
I would like to hear stories about different professions and why people chose them etc. Longer discussions with a few people on some topic would be nice as well.
I was gonna say the same thing
I love seeing foreigners speak Japanese. The first guy was impressive. As a native Frenchman from Foreign parents, I'm able to speak French and English as a native speaker and his vocabulary was really good, especially taking in account that he also speaks Japanese.
Sidenote : it cracked me up the way he would fixate the camera and not Takashi while answering the questions.
You are not a native English speaker judging from the text which you wrote.
@@holliswilliams8426 And yours was better? Lighten up, Francis
You're not a "native" Frenchman if you have foreign parents. You are a colonizer.
Thank you for making interviews with so many different people. It really educates people a lot and I'm always happy when I see you post any video.
Nice of you to do these videos introducing Japan and its people to foreigners, but could you try interviewing these questions with/about Asian foreigners? Really wanna see how Japanese people react to their neighbors
Takashii, your work is very appreciated. Great job!
You should try to make videos showing places you have been before or storytelling about your life growing up in Japan.
Not comparing to Europe or America. You can try to explain your nostalgic memories. Show us some towns that you really enjoyed visiting. Capture Nature.
Keep up the great videos !!
Takashii - You lucked out so well with this video: Three extraordinary lovely gentlemen from France, Spain and Germany/Ukraine, respectively. Each of them came across as really really decent and good people. I wish them so much happiness with their lovely Japanese "better halves" as we say in English.
It was also very impressive that each of these people was able to speak Japanese and obviously put in the effort.
They are all young and life is a long journey: I would like to say to each of them: You have chosen well and as you grow older, then raising a family will complete you as people so well and as good parents you will be a blessing upon your children's lives.
As to topics for interview to provide stimulus and energy and keep yourself interested in your own work: If you keep unearthing such high quality people, whatever topic you choose will be very good content.
That said, I will provide some direct feedback: Use the 100:10:1 rule: Brainstorm 100 ideas, then select the top 10 from these then choose the top 1 out of those 10 that you really are most interested in. To start your stockpile of ideas:
1. Interview young Japanese about working in the countryside eg farming or agriculture as opposed to urban areas
2. Interview any foreigners who are attracted to Japan by the wonderful crafts and arts. It's always interesting if you meet a foreigner who imbides the culture fully eg becomes a martial art practitioner or a master craftsman of something
3. Interview foreigners learning Japanese directly at the Japanese Universities.
4. Interview anyone who is doing their won start-up business.
5. Any foreigners running their own business in Japan: That is also interesting.
These are 5 ideas out of 100 to help get the ball rolling forwards...
Arigato - as always.
video idea: whenever you go to Kyōto or Ōsaka or any other city maybe vlog around the places that are fun to visit like bars or nighttime activity places associated with those cities, those are usually the most interesting places to learn about
I love your content it’s so addicting to watch, keep up the hard work bro.
Takashii, you're doing an amazing work, your channel is growing very fast! Congratulations on 150k!
I would love to see a video about what it's like to have a family in Japan. Or how it is for foreign kids to live in Japan. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you
I'll be studying in Japan in October and ecerytime I watch your videos I get more and more excited!!!
Your channel keeps growing and growing! I really enjoy your videos, thank you for your hard work! Hello from Quebec, Canada!
More insights into how foreigners in Japan learned Japanese would be interesting to me. Thanks Takashii
This is a great channel and glad you are open-minded.
Have been watching several videos of this channel of you now after a video appeared out of nowhere in the home tab of CZcams app in my smartphone.
And I have to say... you've been doing great, Takashii!
I feel that you have superb way in making videos in simple and complex way at the same time, which is cool to me.
And if you truly decide to do various kind of videos, I obviously support it and will be looking forward to see more from you.
ですから、すべてのめっちゃすごい仕事を、続けてください!
So much awe and respect for the people who speak minimum of 3+ languages fluently. Like the guy from Germany speaking fluent English and can speak Japanese.
Very nice. I love your channel. And I love seeing different places. Please continue to show
Next year I'm going to study in japan and this help me so much 😀
Your channel is very useful
You are so likeable. I’ll watch any of your videos. Maybe you can ask questions about culture differences between regions/towns in Japan. Also questions about Japanese movies/shows. Best wishes. 🎉
loveeee this channel so much
Just an idea, i'd like to see a video about rock bands in japan, or musicians in general, that would be cool
Hello from Hong Kong. I find your channel very interesting. May I suggest some topics here:
1. Do foreigners like any of the modern Japanese culture? ACG/music/drama/food ...etc
2. How about traditional ones? Art/buildings/music/Kimono/festivals/ninja ...etc
3. It seems Japanese like Hollywood movies too. Are their preference尸 similar to ours? What movies and celebrities do they like?
4. How about food, what foreign dishes do Japanese like? Or do they prefer Japanese dishes more?
Uhmmmm yeahh
我也是香港人
thanks so much, it isn't easy to convince people to make a video.thanks so much, I learned a lot. 👏👏🇨🇲🇨🇲
I recently subscribed to your channel. I really found so useful your videos about different topics. Thanks to show us the life in your country.
I love your videos man. Keep them up.
Your channel is the best!!!
Another great video Takashii your videos are awesome keep it up
Hi Takashi, i wanna say that i'm from Kyrgyzstan and i like your videos, so you are a doing great job. Thanks for it, these videos helps me and motivate to learn nihongo! ありがとございます!
Your videos as always are a very good insight, thank you.
Video Idea, I would be curious as to what foreign exchange students in Japans do for part-time jobs, and what are some difficulties with that.
love ya Takashii, keep up the good work
I would love to have a video where you ask foreigners what they think about Japanese food and japanese what they think about foreign food. Also if you could maybe find a vegetarian that would be interestinging how it is to be vegetarian in Japan
Can you do a video interviewing people in Shikoku island? It’s where my sister lives and where I mostly stayed in Japan
That's video was so good beside congratulations for 150K 🎉👏
Takashi can you do a Q & A regarding your life also? Everyone is curious. Do you date, what career would you like to do if it weren't for youtube and so forth! :)
Awesome work Takashii!
It would be interesting to see an interview with gay Japanese men and women. What is like to be gay in Japan and how difficult it is to date there. What do they think about gay foreign guys/girls etc
An idea for a video for people who want to visit japan and make friends. any local recommendations to where to go and how to make friends or develop a relationship.
These videos are so cool man had to subscribe, defo upload videos you wanna create bro, no limits
You're a very good interviewer, and these videos are very entertaining and easy to watch.
Though I would like to hear some more of your own opinion or views on the topic or what was said by the people in the video after the interviews. 'm not sure how many people would like something like that other than me, but it seems you are almost holding yourself back from saying too much yourself.
Hi I am enjoying your channel, very interesting. I notice from a previous video of "what Japanese don't like" the reoccurring theme from the average person was rules regarding social strictness dislike. However I know that Japan has many great punk rock bands (like The Stalin, GISM etc) and it is a punk rockers nature to reject rules, authority and social norms. It would be interesting to interview people from Japanese subcultures like punks or other minorities that are obviously not your average Japanese. Looks like I have a hell of a lot of work to do if I am to date a Japanese women tbh. 😫
Awesome video!
I am thinking maybe you can make video about some japanese vilage outside of City where ppl still live in traditional way and describing some most traditional unique jobs in Japan...also what is traditional rules in being guest for lunch in the Japanese home -what is do and dont for guests. You doing great job and thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Wow interesting video! My dream is coming to Japan and getting interviewed by you. ☺️
you doing a very good interview and great questions. new subscriber.
I would like to see you talking about your experience in highschool or university, like what has been your experience in dating/living as a japanese, i know we are mostly foreigners but would be nice to know how is it to live in japan as a japanese haha
Maybe a video about working in Japan, from both perspectives.
talking about the culture of working there, the stereotypes too.
I would recommend to make videos about places to visit in Tokyo or like bars, restaurants parks and stuff, because the borders are going to open and a lot of toerist will come
Good content as usual Takashii-san !
Takeshii, you could interview foreigners about the foods they found amazingly good and also foods amazingly weird i Japan, and then ask Japanese people what "foreign" foods they like and how close they are to their country of origin taste (like curry).
I live in NYC, I just met a Japanese women, new to the US as of 1 month ago, found this video, was very helpful, thank you!
Hey, nice videos. But could you tell me something about the economical situation and the situation with covid in japan? Is it easy to live there unvaccinated and is there like high inflation or else?
Would appreciate an answer. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the video man so educational .I love Japan and it's my dream to marry a Japanese woman
I have an ideea: Can you like ask foreigners people how did they move to Japan and how did they obtain their visa(what type and if it's hard to get it)
Aye I love this channel
Love ur videos from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 Please do make a video about anime. Like "what's there fav anime and why?" ☺️
Thanks for the interview, I will gladly help you in another video if you need it, I am the Spanish of the interview 👋👋
For a video idea, how about fashion? I’m sure they care what her date wears, if so, what’s their taste in what men wear to a date?
Video idea: A Day in the Life of TAKASHii from Japan!
im amazed of how everyone speaks almost fluent Japanese
I was going to wActh this but decided that this video would take all the fun and mystery out of it.
Hehe
Could be a good topic and interesting to know if everyone in japan loves anime or watch anime atleast😅
My main reason why i love to go to japan and visit kanagawa (slamdunk) and fukui (wethering with you) in the future i hope haha and feel the anime vibe in there 😂
Arigato Gozaimas!
I'm Italian/Australian and I have been dating a Japanese Woman for almost 2 years now. I think the hardest thing was adjusting to the cultural differences but you eventually get use to it and understand.
Good video bro
Spanish and Japanese mixed sounds awesome
It would be cool if you made vlogs. Show us your life, friends, fun things you do in Japan.
He has an Instagram page
Okay, now can we find out more about Takashii and his friends in the same vein?
Topic ideas:-- if you could change one thing, what would you change in Japan. --What Japanese thing makes you laugh, like a habit, a way of speaking, something in stores... --Are you happy with your life in Japan?
We want vlogs of all your trips
When is the collab with shogo coming out?
You are doing good.
Japanese is a great language
I must be a dog because the only thing I could focus on in that second conversation was the Frisbee.
Your video s are the best now.
I love country Japan I'm from Philippines ❤️
Japanol!!! that i so cool! Too funny!! Wow That one guy that just got engaged speaks 3-4 languages! Amazing! Love this one, thank you Takashi!!🙏Respect!
I can't get over how likeable Takashii is...I can't imagine anybody not liking him. 🥰
I love Japanese so much💖
Next time, please interview Japanese American people and make 'Japanese American subtitle' video. For example, 'What's it like being Japanese-American in Japan?' Video.
8:24 my favourite part:
"How was it? That was interesting."
XD
I wanna live in the north in Hokkaido for a year or two and work on a farm haha that's the plan. love the Japanese culture
Could you make a video about social events and opportunities where foreigners can meet Japanese people and make new acquaintances in Japan? You could interview foreigners about their experience with overcoming isolation when they first arrived. I’m interested in people’s ability to meet others that they shared things in common with despite language & cultural differences that would make it more difficult.
Takashi-san
Need more interesting videos ♥️
Sorry to say but you already made some dating and love related videos, give some thoughts to other things.
What ever you make I will watch it and hit the like button 😉.
Make some videos japanese maid cafe, anime city, every festival of Japan school sports day highschool and collage graduation videos asking about japanese peoples future after graduation, recent days youngsters....頑張ってください💪
Work culture in Japan video idea
I have question my mom said Japan is a close country? and I want to study in Japan what requirements I need
your channel is intresting☕
Make a video about street food in Japan
Can you do video of Japanese nature? Like in the forest.
Well this is interesting, it seem almost all the foreign men want to eventually move out of Japan. Is because Japan makes it hard for them to get Japanese citizenship even when married? or is it because though Japan is a safe place they wouldn't want to raise mixed kids there who would probably be bullied for not being fully "Japanese ".
Sadly, I believe that mixed kids could experience not being full "Anything" almost anywhere in the world. I guess the main problem stands in the strict visa rules for foreigners in Japan.
i think it depends every person is different . Some get comfortable there and settle . Some get comfortable and live there for a long time 10+year. Some live there for a while like the german dude around 5 or 6 years and want to try something new and some has had enough after like 1 2 or 3 years weather it be homesickness, or they feel like is just time to leave and they enjoyed their time or they had a bad time there etc.
Bullying is everywhere. I have a mixed Japanese-American friend who was born and raised in the U.S. and now, he lives in Japan. He said when he was in junior high and high school, his classmates called him "J*p" and bullied him, bringing up events from World War II. And after graduating from high school, he immediately moved to Japan. He says Japan is far more accepting of me than the U.S and I will never go back to America.
"Do Japanese girls want to date foreign guys?" no, they will never wants. they tricks foreigners. find another women.
Sorry not speak English.
I just subscribed your channel. I liked your videos. Please make Vegan video. Being Vegan in Japan like is it difficult being Vegan in Japan there are options for Vegan people like supermarket or restaurant etc. Arigato Kozaimas :) 🇯🇵 Love from Turkey.
first guy's outfit was go fine
such a nice content Takashi! keep creating!! warm greetings from Indonesia ❤😄
Un grande el Japoñol.
En el momento en el que le he oído el acentazo al principio del video he dicho: ESTE ES DE ESPAÑA
great content as always :) I would be interested in hearing about women's experiences in japan working in the work environment. You hear stories of work culture being heavily male dominated in Japan so curious what's the actual reality and what's exaggerated etc.
I agree, that’s such a great idea for a topic!! 👏
