Stayed there last spring. 1 BR in Bella was more of a Studio deluxe and extremely outdated and dirty. 1 BR in St Augustine was a true 1 BR and more updated. If booking a 1 BR, make sure you know what you’re getting.
I would agree. Bella needs an update and unfortunately isn't scheduled to get one until 2025 but could even be delayed until 2026. Thanks for watching!

Another great video. It is getting harder for us to stay in a regular hotel after visiting some of these nice timeshare properties. We just got back from a week at Cypress Harbor.

Do they make you go to a timeshare meeting??
@@user-bk6hm4hu5g You are only required to attend a timeshare meeting if you booked some kind of discounted promo package. They will ask you to attend but if you aren't there on some package that requires it you don't have to to. They will probably ask at checkin though. If you turn them down they may try and call you later to sign you up. Just tell them no.
Staying here right now. Bldg 3 I think Bella. ICE maker not making ice. Villa just ok. Wbc much nicer. But over all not a bad resort.
Yes, that would be Bella. I would suggest calling the front desk or texting them to have them come look at the ice maker. Unfortunatly the Bella units are the most outdated and due for a refurb in the next year or so. They are looking quite dated. We were just at WBC last week and had a great time. The theming there is certainly a step above Vistana Villages. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great rest of your trip.
Beautiful resort! I was staying right across the street at Fountains over Halloween.
You mean you were staying at the vistana resort right?
@@poodledog8479 No, I was staying at Bluegreen Fountains which is across the street from Vistana.
The Fountains looks real nice. I flew my drone over there once when staying at Vistana Villages and also walked through the resort after walking across the street. That is a dangerous street to try and walk across. We now have RCI access and it would be great to be able to stay there, but I am not sure how easy it is to book a stay at the Bluegreen Fountains resort.
@@DestinationTimeshare My in-laws are Bluegreen owners and are able to get in at Fountains fairly easily. But I don't know how often weeks are transferred into RCI.
@@DestinationTimeshare I have picked up a week in RCI in the cheap rental deals in RCI in off peak. Not hard at all. I stayed in the oasis lakes section which I prefer to be honest. It’s the older section in front on the right but it’s bigger units and they have barn doors and nicer kitchens and a nice view of the lake. And closer to the main pool and entrance. I am a bluegreen owner but it’s much cheaper to use RCI rental than to use points or exchanges.
We were here mid December. It's a nice resort. Wish the food options were better. Very well maintained but when we have grands visit, we like the vistana resort. It has more food/bar options and 7 pools as well as mini golf. Not as pretty and new but more lively.
I agree about Vistana Resort. There are so many more on site food and beverage options. Was the new food stand open in the Key West section when you were there?
It was but we didn't partake. BTW, our favorite Italian restaurant is fresco cucina. Ask your concierge

My wife travels with me. She never appeared in many videos on this channel. She was really only in some of the early vlogs from Cancun. Now that I am just doing information videos related to resorts and timeshare in general, she no longer appears in the videos.
Love the videos. Curious which village you would choose to be close to main pool but with a renovated room. I called front desk and the person I spoke with was new and had no idea. We are booking a 2 bedroom villa (not a lock off).
The Bella phase is closest to the main pool, but those rooms aren't renovated and kind of tires. I would recommend either St Augustine or Amelia. Both were renovated in late 2020 and still in pretty good shape. You are then close to either the Bella Pool or St Augustine Pool. Amelia may have more road noise from International Drive. This is the property on International Drive. There is another property, Sheraton Vistana Resort, that is considered Lake Buena Vista. I have a video that compares the two; czcams.com/video/mmDLRETQ79o/video.html
Great video. So how many different sections are there. We are a family of 5 and definitely do not want out dated. We only need 2 nights. When booking can you specify what area you want your room in. Are kids allowed at all the pools, how many are there? Are the pools a long walk to get to, do you need to take your car depending on where your room is at? Also do you know if we were to arrive early could we still use the pool till our room is ready for check in. Thank you
There are four sections; Bella, Key West, St Augustine and Amelia phases. The first three have their own pool section. The walk to a pool is not far from any building. Amelia and St Augustine sections are the most recently renovated. While you can't pick which section you want to stay in when you reserve (unless you are a timeshare owner there), you can call them a few days ahead of arrival and make a request for a certain phase. Kids are allowed at all the pools.
Thanks for the info. I been reading so many mixed reviews but one thing I keep coming across is the rooms have a pungent musty smell. I stayed at grand Hilton vacations before and had that problem there and don’t ever want to smell that again it’s gross. How could we avoid a room like that at vistana villages?
@@user-ow7ix9mw6x I would request either St Augustine or Amelia phases. We stay in those phases a lot and have never noticed such a smell. We have also stayed in the oldest phase, Bella and haven't noticed it. That can be an issue in Florida with humidity and if the AC and dehumidifiers aren't up to the task.

Which would you recommend better Sheraton Vistana villages resort or Marriott's Harbor Lake for children age 5-10 ? Thank you heading to Orlando this summer with my family looking for the best possible experience.
Harbour Lake is certainly more geared to kids the age of yours. They also have more activities for kids along with a better pirate ship pool and the big splashpad/waterpark. That said, Vistana Villages is fine, but I would opt for Harbour Lake if costs are the same.

Looks nice. Much nicer than Vistana Resort. I'll put it on my list of options. Does it have elevators in all the buildings? That's what I don't like about Visitana Resort
YES 💯 they do have elevators ask for a building that does.
Yes. All buildings have elevators at Vistana Villages. The buildings are more comparable to Lakes and Cascades T Vistana Resort.
