I've seen this movie at the theater with a dying friend (23yo), we didn't know anything about this new movie but that's what he wanted to see. We laughed and had great time. It was the last movie he ever saw, a month later it was his funeral. I get very emotional whenever I hear this song or see images of the movie. He loved life so much and had dreams of meeting a beautiful girl and start a family. How unfair and cruel life is sometimes. Time pass but I won't forget you my friend, you are the best, you'll always be.

Chris Kattan is one of my favorite actors ever. So hilarious and charismatic. He carried this whole movie. Hopefully we will see a sequel because this one was an absolutely legendary comedy gem. Doug is amazing. What is love indeed.

When me and my husband got together 17 year's ago we would watch this movie every night, every night before we would go to sleep. We had the movie on video cassette. We would rewind the movie every night after watching it. Now we have it on Dvd. And 17 year's later it is still our favorite movie

I wasn't alive then, I happened to he born in time for everything to go downhill. I think the 80s and 90s had the best music, movies and fashion. This movie and song are great examples. Even though I grew up in a different time, my parents raised me on comedy's from the 80s to early 2000's which is why I love dumb and dumber, Zoolander and night at the Roxbury (but i just saw night at the Roxbury few days ago.) Me and my dad always talk about wanting to bring the vibes of it all back. If course, there's no getting rid of cell phones and all, but at least the music, comedy and movies would be nice. And if people could be in their cell phones just a little less maybe life could be just a little but like 20 years ago. You're so lucky you were able to experience it! But ofc, you had to live through the downfall of it all.

AND better, we had our Girlfriends wear the same color Prom Dresses as our Tux. And of course, we had them go in the Gym first and be seated at our table. Then we made the most Grand Entrance Ever! 46 Years Ago. And we've been Best Friends since we were 7 years old. And still are today. Boy, to have those Days Again! 🤔

This song will never die and will always have that youth to it, forever young. The 90's was the last decade where social media didn't quite exist yet but life was great before social media ruined it. Those that lived it know it and those that didn't will never know what a life it was, before all this crap we have nowadays.
Social Media had literally made massive improvements upon humanity. You could send a text message to someone across the glove within seconds. You can have fun without the awkwardness of social anxiety. You can share videos with millions of people and those people can recieve it in a matter of literal seconds. Those people can cast constructive criticism on you for your next video on the internet like how we’re doing right now. The point is, You think the 90’s were a better time because there was no social media. But really it was because they didn’t care at the time. They didn’t care what people thought of. The difference between now and then is that introverts and people with severe anxiety can have a voice. Where as then, people didn’t care to listen because they were in the moment enjoying the merits of their time. They could party all night, and then worry about their life all day. Besides, we as a collective have to face bigger problems than just dreaming of going back in time to not face it. We wouldn’t progress. We need to focus on the now, just like them.
