    PRC's lucky # is 9. Any significant date or data related to PRC is 9. 30 years is small change, 60 years is big change, that's how we count using ancient Chinese calender. And its Five Element's qi is wood (east), Mao Zedong literally Mao water east.
    In 1919, the Chinese people suffered.
    In 1949, the Chinese people stood up.
    In 1979, the Chinese people becoming rich.
    In 2009, the Chinese people took off.
    In 2039, the Chinese people is peaceful and content.
    In 2069, world harmony.

    I don't see China dominating their region the way the US dominates its region, China was never able to dominate Korea and Japan. But that said I'm sure that China will become the most powerful nation on the planet by 2060-2100.

    • @francoislee1658
      @francoislee1658 Před 2 lety +1

      As a Chinese, I agree with you. Chinese political tradition was based on farming, which profoundly impact China's ruling styles and Chinese thinking styles. It's impossible for China to dominate the neighbouring regions in American style.

    • @zsqduke
      @zsqduke Před 2 lety +2

      China definitely did dominate Japan and Korea throughout ancient history. So your statement on that is completely false.

    The 21st century is the century of rapid decline for Europe and America, and rapid revitalization of China, India and Brazil. It is the century of traditional Chinese culture, Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Chinese Medicine and Martial Arts. A comprehensive Chinese cultural renaissance is underway, while economy, technology, military, politics and so on are only the means of cultural renaissance, they are small skills to carve the mighty dragon, not the purpose.

      ROP? Come on, how can you claim to be China where you are no longer in proper China? Look at Singapore, 80% from Chinese ancestor, even their PM still have families in China. Taiwanese need to make a decision now, either try to be apart of PRC or be rich and throw away your heritage.

    China clearly doesn't equate financial growth with military growth, one can absolutely not apply the American ethos on China, American wealth was the direct result of a war so the "policeman of the world" came rather naturally, China's wealth comes from standard commercial activity in times of peace, the imperatives are completely different. Since it is the US that is being pushed by the new kid here, if ever there is a war it will be the US trying to protect it's commercial leadership position, China has nothing to gain by provoking a war, on the contrary, it could lose everything.

    He talks about USA being a pacifier in Europe and if America's military leaves there and NATO is dismantled, then European countries (France & Germany, for e.g) would start increasing their own individual military capabilities which could be seen as a threat between each other. However, I think they would just create their own 'NATO' like institution in an effort to protect their European Union (identity).

      It's very correct. He approved another country don't think so in history according to his aggresive realism.
      If Hitler win war and unify all Europe, He is most respectful person. He got rid of personal charactor,ideology,culture, Indtead, He insist power game of power country in Anarch(No King over the all country) Every country has same reason for their safety.
      As USA is super power,
      He insist Democracy is good and this foreign policy was wrong in Middle country.
      No prejudice, Very Cool Intellectual Professor.

  • @alacson100
    @alacson100 Před 11 lety

    Using realism as reference, whether or not China is being "restored", if the rest of the world sees it as threatening, they will by all means do what is necessary to reduce that threat. I know it sucks, but anarchy would imply no universal morality. There is no right or wrong.
