You're not being dramatic, I agree with you. Her music was one of the biggest things that helped me through the pandemic in particular. Lots of personal loss for me during that time, unfortunately, but being able to escape into her music made it more bearable 😊

Great reaction and insights! You are right that the sound quality is not great in this video, but Morissette's greatness is undeniable. Morissette's version of Never Enough on the Wish Bus will truly amaze you and the sound quality on the Wish Bus is fantastic. Wish Bus performances of RIse Up, Secret Love Song, and Akin Ka Na Lang (in Tagalog) are not to be missed to begin to understand the immense talent of Morissette who I believe is the best vocalist in the business. Industry legend David Foster did a concert series in the Philippines last week where he invited Morissette to sing in about 6 or 8 different concerts. Those performances, where she did Never Enough and Whitney Houston medleys, are available on CZcams as well.

Like yourself I stumbled across this amazing singer on CZcams just over 2 years ago. It is absolutely astonishing to me that majority of the people in the western world have not heard of this woman. I’m from Australia and it’s like no one here knows of Morissette apart from the Filipino community. It is a crying shame that this voice is not recognised worldwide! Take this singer over to the major European cities and put her in a large historic opera theatre with great acoustics accompanied by a large orchestra behind her with the right choice of songs and I will guarantee you her voice will bring the house down.
In years to come she will be talked about as one of the greatest female singer to ever walked the earth.

Besides being one of the top-tier vocalists worldwide, she is a fantastic performer - expressive, passionate, captivating, completely engaged. She's been performing over 10 years, so many of our suggestions will be a few years old. Her video catalog is HUGE and almost entirely live, with some having better audio than others, but SHE is consistently excellent. She has done mostly covers of every genre, with the exception of some recent original material. I see you teach Broadway singers, so I recommend Mori's Stages Sessions Broadway favorites (in red top) done during lock down.
Thanks coach , Morissette is so versatile she can do the ballad, theater, pop, can whistle with 8 octave in her arsenals.

Great reaction. I’ve watched a hundred or so reactors react to Mori’s performances. First time someone really zeroed in on how she’s so giving. She seems to be just that kind of person, from watching all her other performances and during interviews. To be mentioned along Liza Mannelli & Judy Garland is quite the compliment.

This is a great reaction. Your depth of knowledge is on display so you can point to specific details and not just say "she's great" as others do. I enjoy reliving my initial reaction of discovering Morissette when watching reactions like this.
The suggestions already made are spot on and often what I read for new reactors. Can't go wrong with the Wish Bus performances. Reactors usually do Akin Ka Na Lang early on so you might as well too.

Ms. Urbanovich, I can hardly wait until you watch and react to other performances by this incredible and stunning young lady!!! Fact: SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES TO SING!!! And with nearly every performance (depending on the song and lyrics), you will always see that beautiful smile because she knows she's been given such a RARE gift to share with all of us!!! And she knows who gave her that one-in-a-million voice! I can promise you that as beautiful as this performance is, you're going to be even more "taken" with her when you hear her again and again. Her range, her breath control, her "squeaks", her "growls and yes, I'm giving it away, her WHISTLE notes, are jaw-dropping!! You'll see and hear all of those!! I'm just a little old 68 y/o woman from N.C. (I sang in chorus all 4 years in high school and was once paid to sing at a restaurant on Sat. nights, when I was 20 years old). The very first time I watched her here on YT (4 years ago) , I was overwhelmed with tears because of her vocals!! I think it was because I felt so blessed to live in a time in which this young performer exists and sings!! I'm not a voice teacher, by any stretch, but I'd like to think I know what phenomenal voices sound like and she IS certainly that...truly heaven sent!! Her Broadway covers are amazing....She Used To Be Mine (from The Waitress, Home, Defying Gravity, Someone Like You (from the musical Jekyll & Hyde) are just a few of the hundreds of covers she has on YT. She and her now husband even wrote their own songs for her to perform and he is very involved in her music career!! He's amazing too!! She can sing ANY genre and she is one of the very best "story-tellers" of a song as anyone I've ever heard!!! I'll be looking for more reactions as I have now subscribed because of Morissette. And you will see that more will follow because of the same reason!! We ARE HER FANS and we SO love those who react to her!! Have fun and thank you for having her on your channel!!!

Can I recommend another amazing talent from The Philippines called 4th Impact. They are 4 sisters with amazing harmonies that will leave you speechless. They auditioned for X Factor UK in 2015 and that video has more than 188 million views on you tube. In Feb 2023 they performed before 55,000 fans in manila. They have many covers and a few original songs on you tube.
