    Never seen ears that small. Nitrogen deficiency?

      Most likely. We received very little rain, so it was all well water. There’s a lot of nitrogen in rainwater so I’m thinking it hurt us. We did fertilize with chicken manure, and that helped some. The only other option would be that particular variety might not get as big. I’m just not sure because I’ve never grown it before.
