In Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, the Belmont clan must again rise to the challenge: Dracula's castle is in disarray and is in serious need of an interior decorator! In this movie, Juste Belmont zips through walls, under floors, and over zombies with the very important task of rearranging furniture. (He also defeats Dracula and rescues his best friends along the way, but that's not very important.)
This movie is a 6:32.48 (23,549 Frames @60 FPS) improvement over its predecessor (tasvideos.org/2..., thanks to several new improvements and optimizations.

Instead of worrying about the family job of killing Dracula for the 100th time, Juste decides to do a career change and become an interior designer instead. Too bad when he tries to evict Dracula after doing his best show piece, the death of Dracula ends up destroying the castle Juste worked so hard to flip.

Schrödinger Belmont takes up the legendary Vampire Killer and head to IKEAvania to collect furniture.
And kill Dracula along the way because that's just what happens when you're a Belmont.

The opening text crawl notes that Maxim is injured, and as it turns out, Maxim's run is now less than a minute long.
Yeah if he can conquer Dracula's castle in 20 seconds while injured, just imagine what he can do at full strength.
Maxim is now a unit of time, which equals 20 seconds and a bit.

Just imagine the kind of nightmares this would give Dracula. A high speed, floating Belmont just zipping around, haunting your castle, and nothing can stop him. This is the kind of scary stories vampires tell each other...

Went into this expecting a lot of "TchTchTchTch" or "UERLEUERLEUERLE".
But then 2:38 happened.
Not disappointed.
There is something so weird about the music of this game where it kinda sucks at first but then you get accostum to it and its memorable
That seems to be the entire game imo. It's just a different castlevania experience that's nothing like any other games in the series. Presentation-wise I mean. The backtracking and pacing is horrendous and I dont want to play it again anytime soon
@@Sykroid I have played it to completion a 2nd time and in my honest opinion, the backtracking isn't that bad because the game gives you plenty of options to move fast and if you know what you are doing or perhaps you use a guide, it doesn't seem to bad.
@@edfmed1080 With a guide it isnt as bad. But playing for the first time, trekking across 2 castles for one breakable wall is more of a headache than anything. The dual castle idea was interesting though

The reason it may be so terrible because the GBA compresses sound to make sure the GBA can handle it. Maybe if the songs in this game were remixed with a modern sound it be pleasurable to someone's ears
