I'm discovering this band yesterday night. I adore it❤. A great band.
The same here. I'm 60, my wife is a bit younger... we discovered this band yesterday while watching MTV (what we never do)... since than we've watched all their videos on CZcams. WOW... for the first time in many years I have found a new band in which I am very interested!

Their live act has a f**k load of energy the recorded track doesn't have. LOVE it.
I believe they recorded the first album way before they became popular and started forming a full band. Next album will probably have a lot more energy from all the bandmembers!

It’s one thing to burst onto the scene with some catchy tunes and music videos… it’s another thing to be so good live onstage. It’s hard to believe their writing, look and sound wasn't honed over a few albums. In a performance full of surprises, a big one is "Obvious". Fun, fearless and fully formed right out of the gate, I hope their future work isn't altered by big budgets and bigger expectations.
Such a throwback to days when it was all about the song and with serious attitude and expression! This band is fantastic!

I’m a Sumerian from 4,000 BC. You might not believe this, but down in Sumer the band is a real big hit with the kids and 60 year old men.
They've got that elusive talent of writing seemingly effortlessly super catchy tunes. They're great. Makes me think of The Strokes' debut album. One killer song after another.

I was called to witness for wet Leg when their father, whom y'all know as "God" gave them each one, their weight in schmaltz, preserved and protected by another band of young brothers you may have heard of...no, not young in age, the brother's name was young, now they're old, crotchety, and probably at a wet Leg concert right now... But if I can give you a gift of gifts,, and hug of hugs, yeah talking about them crazy boys from New Hope Pennsylvania.... Gene & Dean Ween. There's simply too much to tell about their journey from extremely shameless beginnings, to the trainwreck of the last 8 years, culminating in Deaner's message to all Ween fans that he didn't' feel he could muster up enough show for the dough that people were putting down to go see them. Respect that kind of integrity and authenticity, disappointed because the boognish will not be rising from the mist no more...

@@miked4309 unfortunately must disagree. Many bands i love who started out strong, recording & live, lost much over the years & can not bring the energy they once had or have enough heart to even seen to care as much. Still hold all they once did & try not to let to affect good memories.
@@zeny7155 bands i was thinking of are Wolf Alice Dream Wife, Charly Bliss, Starcrawler,.. before the pandemic i was going to about 40 shows a year.
@@miked4309 some bands sound like sh*t live, some bands are meant to be recorded live... Pearl Jam is one, except for Ten I hate almost all their recordings, but live they sound as they should, Live on Two Legs is how all of their songs should sound like.

I appreciate the truth in the lead singer’s voice, the rest of the band joins in oaccordingly and sympatheticly, I love the feeling and fun nature the band have, very festival vibes like Florence n the machine, you can listen to them all day long ❤ very hip 😎

3 guitars.... 4 if you include bass. Can't go wrong. Of course a great tight tasty drummer helps and they got that. Add pretty girls with quirky unique sound and style. Great recipe. They are going far if they keep this up.
Strange how the 1980's new wave is back....Lead singer reminds me of a female David Byrne. It seems so easy for them to sing....almost taking and playing with the words as if it's very natural. This band must be attracting a lot of older folk. I'm 55. ;)

First time I’ve heard them, great sound. Takes me back 30 yrs, not quite pixies yet but not a million miles away. Got a bit of boomtown rats vibe too, but it may just be the Celtic accents.

I've seen The Mission UK perform at The Fillmore in San Francisco.
Always great to see a band that can pull it off live. And do they ever. Like Beatles quality at the height of their best live performances. Just flawless and make it look easy.
They are just so much better on live recordings when they can have this heavier sound
The Porch concert is my fav it kills me that it sounds 100 times better than the album. Their producer didn't pull it out of them imo
