I love single pickup guitars. Enquires and Juniors 👍

Me, too👍 Feeling better than double pickup gears!

@jazz-chichi I have always felt like multi-pickup guitars are for people that can't make up their mind. My main guitar is an Esquire that I built from Ponderaso Pine. Single Rio Grande Tele in the bridge, volume and tone pot no switch. I use a lefty bridge to slant the pickup the other way. That in my opinion gives more snap and growl to the lows and takes the ice pick out of the highs.

@@UncleDanBand64 Oh, your Esquire has no switch! Very cool!
I adjust tone on Esquire's tone control and right hand.
For me, Esquire is good enough and sufficient!

@jazz-chichi Yep, I usually play with the tone at about 80 to 90%. If I need a more jazzy tone I usually just pick closer to the neck. I run my amp at the edge of break up and role the volume back for cleans. I can get all I want out of that and no pedals to fuss with. If I need more than just bluesy overdrive I will just go up a notch on the gain of the amp for that song. Really I am just lazy but, it works for me.
