the majority of the fandom are girls...and most of them straight so, its pretty obvious to me that he gets the most attention. Anyhow i think Jo was fine they were sheering for her too!
Also her character in the book got less attention too. Like if u read the story on wattpad there are crazy amount of comments under hardins lines because his punch lines and almost everything he says is hilarious where as tessas are average.

The fact that people are obsessed with this movie and this book really baffles me! A 30 y/o woman practically fantasising about a man who was only 16 or 17 at the time is repelling. This book signifies of what is now called a toxic relationship. Honestly what is with characters revolving around substance abuse? And so what if Tessa is a virgin?! She is only 18. Give it a rest. The fact that people gush over a character that is Hardin Scott just appalls me! Again this isn’t against the actors they did what they were asked to do.
