Even though it's so hard the scythe boss in Ms 5 is my favorite one, the stage and the music just so intense and it really feels like you're fighting the last boss

The boss is actually too hard to do 1cc "normally" because there's too many factors to consider, like which level you destroy first changes the pattern, some patterns being basically impossible to dodge. I haven't seen a single run not using the blind spot setup, and I think that's because it's not possible to no death without using it
@@butnuster354 i remember Metal Slug 2 Stage 2 Boss Fight had a glitch where if you can pull it off, the boss literally stays in place and does nothing lol.

8:25 I always found the MS 2/X final boss to be next to impossible. The little UFOs always got me cornered.
You have to shield with the soldiers and Girida-os and expect the latest to one hit kill the UFOs so they can drop a weapon, aside from the insane reflexes.
I believe MS2 is harder cuz UFOs do not regularly drop weapons when destroyed.
And yup, it's still impossible for me too

Metal Slug X was my first Metal Slug I played, defeating this UFO and suddenly a super larger one coming to the rescue was such a mind blown, epic.
That last boss fight in 6 is so damn hard lol its still the best boss fight in the series for me

If u get there with a level armor slug is a lot easier.
When you ride the lv armor only take heavy machine gun for it to get around 500 bullets also take the shotgun over the truck for yourself also, use the laser to wipe the enemies around before u get the shotgun don't open it or it will banish itself .

I've never felt so relieved in my life. When i played Metal Slug series on Mame with my keyboard, it's pretty easy to aim and avoid enemies.
After seeing all this, I will ask myself, "what did I play last time?!"
Goodness gracious, the Brain Robot got absolutely knocked out. Its one of the bosses from 6 that gives me the most trouble.

I'm not sure about this, but there is a game that allows you to play as Allen O'Neil. It will be fun if there's a "Play as the Rebel Side" mode, where you fight against some Regular or Ptolemaic Army Bosses, like Slug Square or other enemies.

Metal Slug 2 lo pasaba sin que me mataran. Fue mi mayor orgullo.
Mi record en metal slug 3 fue pasarlo con 4 vidas ( tenía 13 años, en una máquina arcade, la ficha valía 50centavos) Hace apenas un año, vencí mi record pasándolo con 2 vidas. Pero... Fue muy diferente, no había público apoyando, fue en mí lap. Fue algo personal,. Pero agridulce.
En mi caso yo logre pasarme metal slug 3 a los 12 con solo un peso en la arcade.

The hardest boss for me was always Sol Dae Rokker. To me, when it’s body turns red (which usually, bosses are about to die when there red) it always feels like it has 2x the health than before. And it is SOO hard to avoid its attacks
for real, some signs on how much health it has left would ease the tension a lot.

The hardest when SOL DAE ROKKER attack is those orange blades, its so randomly attacks compare to red blades

my favorites in terms of just plain fun and memorability are Avatar of Evil from MS5 and Brain Robo from MS6, but my favorite as a bossfight is Amodeus/Doctor from MS4.

Still remember the only way to properly kill first boss on video was to reach it with the Shotgun and nuke the shit out of it before it goes into the yellow flower phase

you can glitch the 1st boss when it uses the blue dragon (wolf? shark?) thing by baiting the attack off the cliff and it would be stuck

That pyramid mask is hard to beat! I always took the alternate route to get there with the shotgun and have a chance to end it quickly before it kills me.

I would’ve also put in ms4 mission 5 boss. the rockets are rng (as far as I know) and you’re pretty much fucked without the hmg (considering you’re on level 8 difficulty).
someone tell me if it’s possible to manipulate the rng of the rockets, though. as far as I know I can’t find anything.
but otherwise I pretty much agree with this list. god I can’t tell you how much I hate ms3 mission 4 boss and final mission boss. and yet ms3 is still one of my most favorite games of the series 😂
