Fake copyright claims that bring a strike.
Over a yr and a half 109 videos of mine got copyright..
I haven't got 1 subcriber in months..I made a side account to subscribe and my subcriber count didn't go up..
Once yt puts you in the no recommendation category..you will never grow..
We all get put in to a category..I see channels doing wake ass video and are growing..like guy took a picture of moon.20 second clip..he gets more views then I do on a video.he has more subscribers, but I got more views them him..just doesn't make sense. A lot of my views use to drop all the time..the most was 3000 in a day...I made a shadow banning video.2 days later 3000 views gone..was yt telling me to shut up..I think so..so I make a video each time yt does me over.
I gotta make a video now of after a yr and half why did 109 videos get copyrighted.

I feel like CZcams is abusing the fact they’re the only app of its type so they can do whatever they want and not have consequences. If there was another app like the old CZcams where you could upload whatever you wanted, CZcams would rapidly lose popularity

For sure, the only reason they don't have competition is due to the insane data they have to handle that other people and businesses just can't compete with. Eventually that'll be solved as well. I give CZcams 5-10 years before a serious competitor comes along when technology advances just a little bit further.
All kinds of trust is gone and won't be returned. People have been robbed of sentimental value/videos, money views and reach. You can't come back from this. And I'm sure that if they had had competition this issue would have been resolved within a week

I opened my channel this month. From the first video, I started noticing it. Day before yesterday, I posted a new vid and they took my Likes away.

This never affected me until I uploaded my most recent video. It should have about 15 likes but it’s gone down to 4…
When you have a tiny channel and you’re trying to grow it, this is the kind of thing that makes you quit altogether.

Just woke up to exactly this 🥲 had 15 in my new vid and woke up to only 4 now.. 😏
That started happening to me this week when I started my first live streams. I started a chicken and duck nature cam and at one point it was up to 7 likes. A couple hours later all the likes disappeared and no matter how many people tried to like it, the likes were frozen out and never showed past 1 like.

Yes, I watched one disappear right before my eyes. Also noticed when I hit the like button it doesn’t turn the thumbs up dark like it use to and have to do it twice.

CZcams does all sorts of stuff that is on the spectrum of questionable to outright shady. This is one of those things.

CZcams seems to have a problem with me giving likes to comments. It will take my likes off lol

Another month later and still not fixed. I have a comment I know it’s getting 50+ likes but it’s only showing 14.

Right now, CZcams is showing that this video has 2.5 likes. Is the counter completely corrupted? Is an 'M' or a 'k' being truncated?

March 2024 it's bad both as a creator and viewer. I see many ccs are now turning their thumbs to unconcerned. Pretty sad.
I’ve had the same account for YEEEEARS. Ever single like I give now is deleted almost immediately. All it takes is for me to reload the video or simply scroll down to the comment section and when I scroll back up, they’re gone.

This has been happening to me too when giving likes!! On every single video!? I’ve even got to click the like button 2 or 3 times before it registers the initial like and that’s signed in on one account across 2 devices. My apple and android are both doing it.

Most of the time, I find that it happens on mobile. Whilst on the web browser version on PC doesn't do this.

I hope CZcams will remove this thing about deleting likes. I've uploaded short video that quickly gained almost 1k views and 47 likes. On the next day there were 38 likes, but I didn't care, maybe ppl just deleted it from their liked videos. But now there are only 12 likes... None of my family is watching me, so no idea why likes got deleted

This kind of idea sounds great on paper but failed at execution. Sure, getting rid of fake accounts that boosts people artificially would genuinely help the growth of channels, but because of how aggressive I think it is, it's harming genuine people.
I, for example, have a main account where I post weekly. My video from last month hasn't been affected, but the latest video from a few days ago had all of its likes removed. CZcams is probably deleting likes from people in the same general location, but the problem is that some of my likes come from my family, some from friends, and they're getting deleted. I went from a nice 35 likes, down to 3, then it's at 0, and been that way for two days.
I know I, and many others, aren't just making videos for popularity, and just want to make content, but just seeing the 'lack of likes' we're getting from our videos really hurts.

It's not the problem of fake likes and fake accounts activity that causes this CZcams decision. It's bias of you tube in support or resistance to some social and intellectual ideas that makes it remove likes and other statistics manipulation. There are other easy ways of controlling fake accounts, the machine learning techniques makes it more easy. I could for example show CZcams how to do that. They know the devices of 99% of people browsing CZcams, they know the bound email, they have chances to check if human is on the other end - these techniques are well known, and such a company as CZcams can afford that without difficulties.
Same i almost had 280 likes on 1 short and all of a sudden i only have 260..

people have been talking about this problem back in 2019 and now is still happening in 2022, this is a pretty big disadvantage to small creators, its hard to get noticed if your channel is really small. CZcams has been kinda making the website worse with some of the updates as well like removing dislikes, which now it is harder to notice if a video is either informational or a scam.

Now it s march 2022 , all my subscribers and likes in my channel went to 0 , i thought it was a bug so i kept refreshing but nothing, then created new channel and it happened again

I uploaded yesterday, asked all my friends to watch and drop a like on it and had a good amount before bed, woke up this morning to check how it was doing and I'm back to 0, it actually seems impossible to get your videos seen as a new creator.

Yeah, I uploaded a funny video yesterday, showed it to some friends, and it also got two likes from strangers, apparently. Today CZcams deleted all their likes, it's back to 0.
I wouldn't mind this so much if it weren't extremely hypocritical. I once uploaded a tutorial which got dislike bombed by fake bot accounts for some reason. You could tell not just by the sudden surge of dislikes, but by the fake comments by new accounts (random full names, no profile pictures, and saying strange unrelated mean things). CZcams NEVER removed those dislikes, nor removed the commenting accounts that I reported. Thank you CZcams, thanks for nothing
I'm not even trying to make money off of CZcams, I'm not monetized, I just wanted to make a helpful tutorial since people always kept asking about that thing, and obviously if people see a big amount of dislikes they're gonna think the tutorial is useless. But at the same time CZcams has no issue removing likes by my friends whom I showed my video. This is ridiculous. CZcams has become such a corporative joke

Just happened to me too. All my friends liked my first post yesterday and this morning I was left with 1 like. What is going on? Grrr
@@Thornskade This is such an insane issue, This is literally how to kill your website in 2 weeks, Except it's been happening for over 6 fucking months. I wouldn't even care if it seemed unnatural but likes from friends with clearly human accounts are throughly checked over 10+ hours for an account with 1 subscriber. This completely destroys viewership boosts, The monopoly youtube has to be this inconsiderate to smaller content creators is astonishing

Same here, I know other bigger creators that have been noticing large numbers of likes being removed. But even for a channel like mine where most of my likes are from organic subs, I'm still seeing a discrepancy. Much harder for smaller channels.

I shared a short earlier today here on CZcams, and it went from 127 likes all the way down to 85. I'm very confused as to why this is happening and I'm concerned it'll keep lowering 😕 Thank you for this video!

Omg happened to me two days ago as well. I did a short and it had 85 like in 30 minutes and it went down to 56 and it just happened to me again today 🤦🏾♀️ I hate it here now.

Yes! And not just the likes, but also comments disappear! I get a notification/ preview from what seems like a legit account (not one of those spam bots)... but the comments don’t show up on the video for some reason and they’re not in the “held for review” comments... have you noticed that too?
Yes I have!! It's sooo weird! Sometimes I even notice it when I leave a comment on someone else's CZcams channel and it doesn't appear!

Unfortunately, this has been happening on and off to my own uploads for years. I never ask for likes, but I know that the small amount I currently get helps with CZcams's algorithm. To see them disappear (and for views to drop) is frustrating. I work hard, like many other creators, and for growing channels it can be a major setback. My latest upload had roughly 120 views and its dropped down to 90, likes have all gone too. But strangely they show in the CZcams studio.. anyway, thanks for the video!

I've noticed this recently a lot too, that plus the fact that most of my subscribers are not kept notified when I make new uploads and view counts displayed are lower than actual recorded views makes me think my channel is being covertly shadow banned for some reason.

As a small creator who uploads videos which boost the algorithm, i say this always happens 24/7 and i feel like the likes and subscribers who are getting removed arent bots at all because i dont use fake
accounts to boost my videos

Hate to say it but it will never youtube clearly don't care abt their platform a muti billion dollar company and they can't fix something as simple as this has been happening for 2 or 3 years now it recently happened to me on my other channel
I've noticed it for a while. I've also noticed that the likes are sometimes different depending on what device you view your video on. For example; one of my videos has about 20 likes viewing on my laptop but if i look on my phone, it's about 12. Maybe your phone doesn't show the fake likes.

It is 3 years later and the problem still remains. CZcams didn't fix anything.
For a small CZcamsr, this has been quite discouraging. My adult children cannot even like my videos without them disappearing. God teaches us to persevere so I pray to persevere and be encouraged.

Idk why you ppl keep thinking youtube is gonna fix this when they aren't it's still happening as we speak yesterday on my other account I had 68 liked to 58 then 54 then 53 likes smh the funny part is I have no bots no family no alt accounts to boost my algorithm so this is all purely organic also my other channel I had 54 subs then 53 and now 50 CZcams DOESNT care abt their own platform they just care abt the money that's why there is so many scam ad bots smh
This stuff is still happening, unfortunately. I uploaded a video yesterday that got 6 likes and they all show on youtube studio, but they don't under the actual video. I think the same thing is happening with comments as well. It's such a shame

I’ve been experiencing this, for the last several weeks. I’m a genuine CZcams watcher and I’m liking the videos that I watch and have subscribed to (I’m just saying that I’m not an account to boost likes or anything like that). On several videos I have left a comment to make the creators aware (hopefully). Just now I received a reply from another channel fan who thought that it was a problem with her new phone’s touch screen. So far I have no been able to discern any pattern as to who when where or why this happens, but I have noticed that it doesn’t happen on all channels. Unless you go back and check that your “like” is still present, you would not even know that it has disappeared. For a while I thought that it might be that I’d liked too many videos, then I searched online and saw that the same thing happened a few years ago - before I was a CZcams watcher like I am now.
Anyway, thanks for sharing this video with me and I hope you’re able to find out what’s happening. I’m glad that creators are able to see more likes than the fan-facing page shows, but if I was a creator, I’d still be wondering if I was getting accurate feedback information. This problem has been going on for years. I have had my CZcams channel since 2009! This is not a new thing. I also just watch videos, comment and like (when it deserves it). I watch a lot of small channels with very few subscribers and views and these channels tend to have this problem more. The likes do not increase on these channels. When you like a video that already has over 1K likes, it really does not change anything, but with a video that has no likes. This means a lot to a small channel creator who relies on likes. Likes help a small channel know that they are doing something good and to keep up the good work.

I posted a short (not on this channel) it had 106 likes within the first week or so which was a big win for me! I check back the next day it had only 73 this can really put small content creators like myself down, I thought I was the only one experiencing this but apparently CZcams does this to all of us, I hope this gets fixed, although it’s been a year so who knows.. 😭😭😭

There is a content creator that I truly believe in. I watch them religiously and like every single one of their videos. Once a week I go back and look. Every third, sometimes every other like has disappeared.

My most recent vid just went from 102 to 71 which is really demotivating because even 71 is the most I’ve ever gotten, so getting 102 was a huge milestone :/ CZcams really needs to fix this because it’s really demotivating for small channels trying to grow

I sometimes wonder if CZcams has a bot of its own that occasionally supplies likes to comments we've made, based on our current viewing activity, to encourage our staying here on the 'Tube. Anyone else? Anybody have info on this?
Wow, I thought I was the only one! I noticed for a couple of times that if I came back to certain videos, my likes were removed. Or if I would just refresh a video, I would lose my like. Didn't happen too often, though, luckily. Sometimes I have to do it twice, so it sticks. Sometimes the button also doesn't react or is late with response and so it happens that I like/unlike/like. 😅

CZcams is an absolutely brillant company, I would love to be the type of company who ruins their own product along with it's users' experience.
Like next time you think of removing another feature off your product, then consider doing a collab with Apple, they do the exact same thing frequently
If you're just gonna keep on removing the main features that made your app successful, then next time why not also consider removing the Subscribe button or even the search bar? That sounds like a good idea to me...
Damn near 2 years later and it still hasn’t been fixed. It pisses me off because when I first started CZcams my friends would watch my videos and like them so I gained steam really fast and gained about 40 subs in just 3 days. Then the disappearing likes started happening and I haven’t gained any subscribers for damn near 2 weeks. It’s really disappointing because the little cult following I have are very loyal and multiple people genuinely like my content but I’m only getting 1-4 likes on my videos that have 400+ views.

This happened to me multiple times. My notifications show I have likes to my comments posted on other people’s videos. Then when I go to check those likes, I find them disappearing. Removing likes is really stupid and abuse of power. Hope one day will get a better platform than this CZcams monopoly.

It has happened to me only lately. I Like to watch informative videos, and to share my opinion. I don't mind going into controversial subjects, and i get sometimes quite some likes on my comments. Since a couple of months, all my comments stay on 0 likes, and i mean all of them. I don't really care, i'm only interested in notification of answers to discuss with ppl and this still works. But it is so obvious, when i go from 'sometimes a like, sometimes even more' to 'never ever getting one', even as i get a notification of someone liking a comment. It's probably some kind of bug, but i get how ppl imagine being cut of their opinion by some kind of 'superpower'...

It was not as bad for a while (by that i mean it was still happening every video) but the last 2 videos i made, my videos have lost way over 30 likes.
This is a terrible problem that many are having. I have tried to contact youtube support, but have never gotten anywhere. This problem has been going on for over a year.

Thanks for making this video. I'm not gonna lie, on some of my videos I have other Gmail accounts that I use for other purposes but use them also to like newly posted videos on my channel and clearly see what you mean by what my CZcams studio shows vs the public-facing side. While that's disheartening, it's also refreshing and warming to know that the truth is I need to make better content and do better research on what people want to watch. I've been fairly lazy at that and don't honestly know at times what people do or do not watch to watch but I do know that if I were to optimize when I upload videos, really deeply research video topics, rehearse for a day or so before actually filming, and upload at least 2 videos a week I'd get better results. Again, thanks for the unstoppable truth on this topic. :)
Absolutely adored your comment! I've also recently done this switch from spending hours on end promoting new videos to actually focusing on videos that my audience wants to see! Although CZcams removing likes is disheartening, those likes will hopefully appear to the general public soon! :)
2 years later and I am still losing a shocking amount of likes on all of my videos! It’s really annoying as I have just started posting and don’t get that many likes in general but I was doing great with 74 and they took it all the way down to 44! Honestly it’s so annoying!

Yep, just had my likes deleted on my latest video. So happens I knew who they were because the video hadn't gone live yet, so they were friends that I sent it to early. Makes no sense that they would erase the likes. I should probably just stop uploading for a while or start over. Not sure, but if I can't even get support from my friends then it seems a bit pointless.

Been dealing with this for years, hasn't stopped. I watched my videos get thousands of views, then like a day later the likes get cut in half. I've got friends who watch my stuff too and I know they click like, but even those won't show up. It's really frustrating. I understand that CZcams only wants their brand of CZcamsrs to succeed nowadays, but they don't need to be so violent in their assault on the little folk.

This feature has to be the worst thing ever. CZcams keeps removing genuine likes and views on my stuff and then the video will stop getting into the algorithm. One example, I uploaded a short that got 3k views and like 70 likes in 1hour. (That’s very good and prob bound to hit the algorithm) but because it blew up so fast CZcams just removed the likes and views thinking they were bots. Now the short is just stuck on the same reach. It’s just very sad knowing that it was gonna hit algorithm with like hella potential but yt just does this. It’s very unmotivating as a small channel. Hope youtube will look into this problem for everyone.

The channels I watch are displaying either no Like/Dislike buttons, some have slightly visible (top edge) buttons or a few have completely normal buttons. The DOWNLOAD button is never affected. So this prevents me from voting on a video.
this has been happening heaps on youtube shorts. Ive tested it by making an ALT account and often I would come back and a video has been unliked.

The problem is, you can't stop bots from appearing on any website.
I remember getting a few "favourites" from actual bots on deviantart, and that really annoyed me, because I can't stop people from making bots, and it made it look like the 50 faves I got on one image were all fake, when in actual fact its a few. I want legitimate people favouriting my artwork, not 1s and 0s in binary form.
Its a similar thing with real people, sometimes people will only watch 1 to 5 seconds of your video (whether shorts or long form), and a view won't spawn. And obviously you can't force people to watch a 20 minute video from start to finish.
You've got a point - those sneaky bots can be a real pain, and it's all about wanting real appreciation for your work! 🤖 But yeah, it's like a mixed bag with viewers - some in for the long haul, others just taking a quick peek - can't really control those viewing habits, right? 📺🤷♀️
I’m only commenting so that CZcams knows we want answers as to why this is continuing years later. As a stockholder in ABC I want to know why the likes are disappearing.

from 4/5/6 likes down to 1 on multiple videos now, and few did maintain 5 for example so.. the inconsistency makes me feel like youtube has some serious issues with their criteria for how to define fake likes.
Extremely frustrating! my subscribers are telling me they are pressing like on my videos and it still shows up as zero.
I'm a small creator and just started my channel in August and I figured since I'm new it takes time for videos to take off. Than I started to notice that my likes kept going down for some reason and I used to think it was just my imagination, but than I started to closely pay attention to my likes going down and thought I broke some sort of guidelines to deserve it until I saw your video and comments from other small creators that this is happening. I'm not sure if it's CZcams's bots or something but it kind of frustrates me and puts me at a disadvantage to other bigger creators. Like I said I know it takes time for a channel to take off but it still sucks when that happens

My latest clip had 4,226 likes around late April, early May. Now dropped to 4,210. Decreasing very slowly however, still very annoying & frustrating though.

And there's still the issue with content featuring minors... Another bug in the algorithm youtube has been denying exists fro 2-3 years now! Whenever the algorithm automatically detects a minor in a video (short or long) that video will also get no impressions (or very few).Have reported it to youtube hundreds of times (literally!), still not fixed.... I spend hours and hours each week trying to work around stupid bugs in the algorithm and youtube in general.... Extremely annoying.
So yeah, I love the opportunities of youtube and there is no other platform like it. But at the same time I really, really HATE youtube (the algorithm) for constantly throwing new things at me in what feels like an attempt to just destroy everything I work for on the platform

I started experiencing this problem since last year in 2023. I have been looking through all of my videos and I noticed that the likes that were on my videos were not there anymore. I gain one like on a majority of my videos and I lose one like from a majority my videos shortly after.
That sounds frustrating! It might be worth reaching out to CZcams support to see if they can help you figure out what's going on with the likes on your videos.

I'm an avid user of the like button when I find videos that I enjoy/find helpful and want to support creators, and barely ever dislike videos. So it's really annoying to find my likes, and thereby my support, just be deleted like that. It's both infuriating and really puzzling.

I check on my shorts, and it only said 'Like' and when I restarted the tablet, I could not fix the problem. Was it a glitch or CZcams did it?

Today is 6/28/2023, my new-started channel (not this one) lost 19 likes on the most recent (half day ago) video. It had 82 likes three hours ago, and now it has only 65 likes. So frustrating for a CZcams newbie!

Hey in a Shorts video i made i got 57 likes and 7 dislikes but they all went down to 33 likes and 2 dislikes. I have never bought any subscribers or likes i really hope youtube fixes this and thank you!

Our first shorts video gained traction yesterday with 164 views and 16 likes plus our first 3 subscribers. This morning I wanted to check if it had gone viral, but overnight the 16 likes shrank down to 6, one subscriber was missing, and still the same view amount as yesterday 😢 I think we‘ll also open TikTok as it seems that they are much more open to allowing even newer channels to grow ❤

i have noticed some videos (typically ones of importance rather than mind numbing tele-vision) have no likes- i cannot see the number for either up or down. i have commented repeatedly on those channels and i fear even my comments are silenced as nobody has responded to a single one.
It really is a weird issue, even more so since it’s been happening for over a year now. I’ve noticed not only CZcams likes disappearing, but as you mentioned, comments, subscribers and views as well. Here’s to hoping that this issue gets fixed sometime!
I said somewhere below I thought it was a tech issue but I've since heard a financial theory. We all know YT shares ad revenue with content creators. I gather that as channels get more popular they get more ad revenue. Some say likes are removed from channels just below thresholds that would trigger increased revenue, so YT doesn't need to pay them so much.
I had 183 likes on a short, and it got reduced to 113, and then 143 on my last short and that got bumped down to 90. It really makes me sad since I work so hard to make a video. It’s always been happening and it hasn’t been fixed :( I rarely get to post and I’ve had so much motivation recently to post and it’s discouraging to see this happening

It’s happening to me when I’m liking things! It’s removing my likes from it because There are some creators I watch frequently so I know that I’ve liked those videos. It would have been okay if it happened once or twice, then I’d probably just shrug it off as some weird coincidence. But it has gotten to the point where almost everything i like automatically doesn’t get liked and I’ve tried liking videoed multiple time after they removed my like. And like, it shows the like at first, or maybe for a day, but if I rewatch a video after a little time it’s almost always gone. I literally searched this video up because I needed to know the answer
Edit: and also CZcams has removed some of the likes I get on my videos. There’s another problem with CZcams shorts, but I think that system is just bad. Because it says that there aren’t as many likes, subscribers, and *VIEWS* as there was. And how many people who has viewed it, probably wouldn’t go down..so i hope they get a better system 🤞

I was so excited when my video blew up and I got 903 likes.. but then five mins later I opened and found 20 likes had gone, and I thought nothing about it. But then the next day I logged on, only 4 likes where left, and my subs had gone down by 200. Does anyone know what happened?

Disappearing liked videos constantly goes away for me as well. I forward the commercials and the boring stuff that I don’t want to listen to. Is that why? No I think about it, sometimes I watch the entire video, and they like still goes away.

I'm having the experience of liking comments and then the amount of likes shown suddenly decreases significantly and also the thumb doesn't turn white...

Tip: if your video has 11 likes (for example) and the next time you click on to your video, and they are gone, click like on your own video & remove the like, then exit CZcams & then go straight back into your video, then the likes should usually appear again. (It usually works for me.)
