If you hadn’t previously heard about AmeriCorps/Housing Counseling Corps, in 2022, Housing Action Illinois received approval to open its AmeriCorps program to interested housing counseling agencies nationwide. AmeriCorps programs serve as a pathway to employment opportunities and help develop vital work skills. Your organization could host an AmeriCorps member who might become your next certified housing counselor!
