About the Channel:
I am a child of the 80s. My parents were not rich but the time in the 80s was a lighthearted and more simple time. I like to remember that time when I was out in nature with my friends and looking for new adventures. Strolling through the woods, relaxing at the lake in the summer or sledding those wild slopes with friends in the winter shaped my childhood. This time was especially innocent and free. With the music I try to reawaken a piece of the past and give everyone the opportunity to switch off despite stress and problems in everyday life and to look back for a moment in this carefree float. Perfect for taking a moment to switch off, reminisce or simply relax and study.
A journey into the world of electro-futurism of the 80s mixed with modern electro pop elements. Each track has been carefully selected to offer a perfect blend of smooth synth melodies, pulsating beats and futuristic sounds.

I'm the quintessential 80's kid... born in 75... so went 5yrs-15yrs during that decade. The best Saturday morning cartoons to this day..... and the best music to this day. A great decade for movies and imagination. Anything that helps take me back and gets me away from the madness we're experiencing now is a God Send.

@@pekka75 You know... us 1975r's are unique. Come 2025 we will have lived half a century. A quarter century each, in not only two different centuries... but two different Millennia. We have a unique perspective. We've gone from TV's that had a dial on them to change the channels and phones that had the circle dial with finger holes over the numbers all the way up til now. We could play outside all day in the 80's... i don't think kids really do much of that anymore. They're inside playing video games or messing with social media. We were around before voice mail... lol Then we had voice mail....then caller ID.... etc... we've seen a LOT of change.... and we have a great perspective on all of it i think. I miss the days of being without a cell phone... not being at someone's beckoned call 24/7 was a much more "FREE" feeling, i must say.

it captures how it feels in Hindsight, in reality it was far less immersive, we get to reside in that Sphere now that so much time has passed. you don't get back what you have when its gone, but you can remember how beautiful those moments where.
I used to hate synthwave, but I gotta say, it does have a kind of magic to it that you don't hear in movies or shows anymore.

This reminds me how I use to look in college years life just sometimes isn't how we expect and need to be motivated even when griefing. I wasn't from the 80s I'm from 90s.millenial but I experienced all kinds of times and holographic lessons.

I was born in 1986, and my birthday just recently passed, so I just had to return to the 80s for a little while, and what better way to experience the decade, than listening to music inspired by the era.

Born in 2011, I never heard this type of synth wave music, but whenever I hear it, it makes me wanna go in the 80s, have fun with my friends in the arcade, stay up night playing with them, wear those cool new shoes, yeah…
The 80's kind of sucked...but music like this brings back the better parts of the decade like renting two NES games and a VHS from the local mom and pop video store, staying up late playing games, watching really bad movies, and finishing it off falling asleep to SNL.

I love this artwork / picture. It reminds me of when I was 18 and moved to South Florida in the mid 1990s. Realizing it's art, and a lot of HDR-style to it... this is basically what South Beach, Hollywood, and Fort Lauderdale looked like at sunset. And the "look" of this girl was very 90s too. I miss those times... it was pre-9/11 and the world was much more peaceful and "exciting" for us, at least those of us in the U.S. Thanks for all of this. I've been listening to this on repeat as I work.

GLORIOUS 80s!!! Indeed, the FIRST decade that enjoyed the widespread start of consumer tech. BUT was still early enough that most things people needed to do, work for, sweat for and enjoy --- were still very "analog" and simple.
*Like for example using the rotary phone and calling your crush (and hope no one eavesdrops on the shared line) then strategically sending hand-written perfume-infused love letters via snail mail and hoping the postman (or a suspicious father) won't intercept and open it before your crush could.*
They don't even have pretty writing pads to write letters nowadays... Nobody writes anymore... Text only!

Really cool for so many reasons beyond actual words. A lot of people may look back on the 80's and say that it was an Era that had its' time and that we should leave what is in the past; in the past. But there is an innocence and magic connected to the 80's that today's world is sorely missing and would, I'm almost sure, love to have back, or, at the least, be able to sufficiently replicate to a broad extent.
I could not agree with you more. I personally don't think kids get to be kids anymore. Technology has turned children into little adults.

I was looking for the band names but then realized the poster made this. I love this! Time Travelers is my favorite. Something about this song just gives me shivers. It's really simple, appealing and energetic, yet distant and cold. When i first was passively listening to it and working, it popped out because it kept repeating. And i paid attention a little. Then it annoyed me. And it stopped. I had to play it again. and again.

I was born in 96 so I only remember hearing this music in old VHS movies growing up. Its good stuff.
Born in 98 my dad was a big vhs and disk collector. He loved this type of music and rock. I still can hear him jammin it in his lil appartment. When his stuff burned in a fire he got real sad. If he d be alive Id show him this stuff. Shure he would love it.

I came of age in the 80s and was in highschool during that time. Its one of the most heart felt, original and discovery era decades in this world's history. There were so many first for this generation. Movies became as big then as they were in the golden age of TV. Its one of the reason I love Psych. Shawn and Gus always refer fondly their years growing up as kids in the 80's by referencing 80s movies, TV and more.

Being born in 2008, i didnt experience the time these songs were commonplace, but some of these songs invoke a sense of nostalgia for me, like recalling a positive memory that doesn’t exist, its hard to describe but its like nostalgia for something i didnt experience
