- Drayton Manor theme park is a place on the up with new ownership, lots of changes and an exciting future ahead. In April 2021, we visited and filmed at the park for the first time which includes reviews of the major thrill-seeker attractions, Mike gets soaked and much more.

I've never been to Drayton Manor..but having my first visit soon. It nice to have a change, and after watching your vlog...I can't wait. I'll be nervous for the drop tower though, I've never done one. 😂

Particularly enjoy watching your trips to parks that get less coverage and watching the coverage of Drayton this year has convinced us to book in for the DMH again after our extended Blackpool Trip, and plenty of chance to dry off after stormforce before the drive home

You probably didn't know this, but that Thomas model railway you mentioned in the video contains the ACTUAL TV PROPS AND MODEL TRAINS used in the filming of the TV series before they switched to CGI in 2009. No, I'm not joking. Sadly, as of today, most of the models they have there are in REALLY bad condition and some of the engines don't even run anymore due to very poor care from the park. Really sad to know that the model trains that made thousands of childhoods, including mine, are in this state.
I didn’t know, but I do know the trains looked in a fine condition last October ☺️

Good to see all you in the one video again gang, I was a bit like Mark with drop towers until I did Hurakan Condor then to be honest they are quite a nothing ride now. I suppose if you have an issue with heights then it could be different. I've been trying to get the mrs up the tower for over 20 years " I'm not being crude" she just refuses yet she is happy to ride the big one with no issue "sadly I'm not being crude again" she also has done shamballa a number of times. I think its a fear of going up to the height rather than being at the height. She is relatively fine in florida, its me who won't go on the swing ride in icon park. Back to subject, my big pal went to Drayton Manor and enjoyed it, he did say that it was better than BPB which makes me doubt his opinion but everyone to their own opinion, its certainly bigger but I would still prefer BPB and the outstanding Blackpool zoo, well without the covid restrictions. Again thank you for this vlog, look I think these are more shows than vlogs, dont sell yourselves short guys you put these videos together so well they are more show than vlog. Also as its looking like we will be having another year of holidaying at home, the clever people will be watching your shows for ideas on where to go and tips for the different parks you cover, also you guys are the shape of most of us so the restraints information is also fantastic it will safe some of us more "well padded" or even those who have hit the gym too hard and broadened their shoulders and arms some embarrassment when we don't fit the ride. @@yourexperienceguide I only say what I see brother the positivity came all the way from you guys and girl, nearly forgot there. All these places you visit are built for fun, not all will be perfect none are and their is nothing wrong with constructive criticism without too much negativity. I just like the way you guys go about reporting on what you find and you are not afraid to address the issues that most of us need to take into consideration before we visit a park. I know the rides are what draws us to these places and it's not all about thrill rides too so it's good how you try and cover everything. All much appreciated and thank you again

I am quite tall and similar size to mike and I do not Fit on Maelstrom Air Race and Pandamonium which doesn’t surprised me Maelstrom needs Loke Lap bars for people like me and mike
I don’t fit On Galactica too I seriously need to lose weight

@@yourexperienceguide OK maybe a little tip add the prices... I'm going to pleasure beach tomorrow, its £35.00 each then £20.00 for parking. Say £20.00 for petrol. Then say £60.00 for food and drinks.. It's only so people can budget for the trips, I'm lucky I suppose as only me and the Mrs. If we had kids also we could be looking at £400.00 for a day out.
But saying that we will enjoy it and I think £35.00 is good value.. I can see it being quiet tomorrow with loads of re rides...

@@yourexperienceguide thanks, we went when most schools were back so the were literally no queues, shockwave was pretty dreadful and the standing up apocalypse was insane. Stormforce 10 was a lot of fun too. But maelstrom was closed. Also I’m gutted that apocalypse is up for sale 😭😭😭
