I miss the Pikachu shorts. They were nice fun little adventures with just the Pokemon. The closest we got to getting one after XY was that one episode in SM where Pikachu and Ash's other Alola Pokemon were looking for him and Torracat. I feel like there could be a lot of fun stories told with these Pokemon still, especially in Journeys. Oh well, a guy can dream I guess.
Man those pokemon shorts were wonderful and great boy do I miss them an awful lot.

Pikachu is a character in Super Smash Bros 64 along with Captain Falcon, Donkey Kong, Fox, Jigglypuff, Kirby, Link, Luigi, Mario, Ness, Samus and Yoshi.

Wow, an actual banned episode in Japan only, and no where else?! I thought banned episodes of the west in English were bad enough, but I never thought Japan only would get a ban and west still gets the episode. By the way Animated Ginger I think my favourite Pikachu short episode was Pikachu's Vacation because I've always loved the original first Pokémon movie best.
Honestly, the short that’s closest to me is the one where Pikachu and all of Ash’s Johto team go and play hide-and-seek with a Larvitar and a Granbull, but also get into some shenanigans with a lawnmower of all things.
That’s one of my favorites too ^^
If it was Gen 4, there would’ve been a good chance that that lawnmower was a Rotom.

The thing Asian countries have this honor culture to the point it very toxic, having a honor culture is not bad the problem asian countries take it to the extreme especially China,Japan and Korea.

I love the Pika short with Larvitar all the Pokémon playing at the mansion.
Pichu is a newcomer character in Super Smash Bros Melee along with Bowser, Dr. Mario, Falco, Ganondorf, Ice Climbers, Marth, Mewtwo, Mr. Game & Watch, Peach, Roy, Young Link and Zelda/Sheik.

Pikachu and Pichu is also my favorite Pikachu short. It's sad to see the short banned only in Japan because the drug incident. Hopefully in the future the short would be unbanned and rereleased in Japan and maybe they could get a new Japanese voice actress to redub Sakai's lines to fix the issue.
Would be cool, but as the video pointed out, it may also require the VAs who voice the Pokemon and other characters to come back and redo their lines if it's true the original audio without narration is long gone.
I haven't even seen any of these Pokemon Pikachu shorts and I don't know where to watch them
Another banned episode was that relic castle team rocket episodes in best wishes. Which team rocket and plasma were set to face off in the desert resort and relic castle but weren’t ever aired due to the earthquake and tsunami plus the Fukushima nuclear power plant incident.

If i have my favorite it would be the one where pikachu and the xy mons gets sent to other worlds by keys from a klefi.(by the way that was the first short i saw).
Truth be told, eventhough no short is banned in Germany (where I live), it's pretty hard to watch them in German actually. All the new DVD releases never include the Shorts, so if you want to watch the shorts you have to get an old VHS or DVD ^^''
Luckly I have the old DVDs, since I bought them before they rereleased them in Germany, but... well, it sucks that the new DVDs have like no extra content (except some trailers).

this reminds me about Johnny & Associates legal drama that it has over every Tokusatsu and Anime they are involved with ( mostly due to them erasing their actor's faces from magazines, and having a hatred agains't internet media, heck, its almost the reason we didn't get SEGA'S Judgement and Lost Judgement on PC, due to the main character using the likeness of one of their actors )

This is a silly video. If the Porygon episode being banned in Japan doesn't count because it was only ever in Japan, then why should a narration that was only ever in Japan being banned in Japan count?
