Honestly seeing a lot of continuity from the past 7 series into this 1 series is something worth noting. I mean i can 1 day imagine Ash using Greninja against Paul or Charizard against Leon. Its really insane

The only thing that made kalos special was mega and bond evolution (which is indirectly connected to mega) and everything is bad. Ash didn't get major character development. Goodra was just a joke. Serena was the worst written character and a rip off of may. Clemont was like "yeah whatever". Bonnie was also nice. And got more character development than Serena. And most of the mega evolution battles had plot armour. And normal battles also had plot armour.
I want somebody to talk about it but nobody wants to, because xy fans will ruin their channel for sure. Hope so someday some big youtuber will take the courage and talk about it.
