They finally restocked the dragonfly glaze in full spectrum, on Amazon again... girl I bought 8 of them 😂😅🤣 I can't ever risk running out again! And these bottles are extra extra rainbow sparkly! So maybe they're releasing a better batch 🤷🏽♀️

I’m adding more and more paint to my collection 🤣 Since I’m new to painting I kinda worry about what the shelf life is. 🙄 So I’ve decided not to buy anymore paint until I absolutely positively need it. Now accessories like a table top easel is on my list to buy. I’m finally getting my work space set up the way I need it.

I never get over the magical power that resin has on glitter and metallic paints. I'm always like oh it's so pretty without resin, but then when you show it with resin my jaw always hits the floor and I'm like wow that is sooooo sparkly and shiny. The resin just makes it all so much better.
I love fireflies! You just painted an AWESOME rock! You should paint the edges of the jar with glow in the dark to. You did nail that jar perfectly. Stay safe and lots of love!

Rachel you have been such a blessing! You have no idea! So in Atascadero, Ca. the community is trying to beat the world record for the longest Rock Snake. So I took my grandsons over the hill to go see thousands of beautiful painted rocks! I saw several versions of your designs. We were so inspired to contribute! My problem, I am a flow painter not a painter. But you make it doable. Thank you for your candid encouragements and directions. I am now so addicted! And hoping to improve with practice. Btw, even my husband and son enjoy rock painting! Bless you!

Omgosh I Love LOVE LOVE IT!!! You really make my day and inspire me to try new things and not to give up trying. Thank you so much for all you do and the night is where my heart is after my daddy passed away. He was a amateur astronomer and we enjoyed the Star Party in Glacier National Park each year together.. 😊🌟 Now I can paint the night sky because of you and your lessons, and my rock collection is something I shared with my mom before she passed away, so I get the best of both worlds with memories of my parents. 💛 God bless you and yours always.. We don't have fireflies in Australia but I've always been intrigued by them..
What a clever idea! I love it!! We had them all over the place in my homestate of Oklahoma...and we as kids, used to call them lightening bugs. I can still see us in the orchard with our jars.

Rachel, Thank you so much for this video. I'm new to rock painting and I love your teaching style and that you tell us which colors and supplies you are using. We don't have fireflies where I live and I thought they were only in fairytales. When we took a trip last year around the US I actually saw them and felt like a little child! I'm capturing some of the memories of our trip on rocks and Fireflies were definitely one of them!
I would love to see Fireflies, we don't have them in Australia so I will be giving this one a go. Thanks for everything you do for us xx

I want to share what my husband made for my rocks when I resin them. He cut me a piece of wood, 6x6" and screwed in many screws in a grid pattern. Now I can place the freshly resined rock on top of the screw tips to dry. Now, instead of a flat resined spot on the bottom there are only very tiny pin holes where the rock rested on the screw tips. Wish I could share a pick.
Love the fireflies - I wrote a song about lightening bugs, very pretty!
There is this new stuff the tumbler makers are using to make their cups matte after they resin. I think you should try that. Like have a matte background and a shiny foreground. Or glossy stars in a matte sky. I think you would enjoy the new dimension.

We had a screened in carrier that we put them in because my dad got tired of drilling holes in the top of the jars 😂 we still let them go as well, but not before we declared a winner with the most catches!
