- Worx makes some great cordless and corded blowers and the Trivac is a great addition to the corded line up. It's a 3 in 1 blower, vacuum, mulcher, with a two speed motor that gets the job done fast and well.

This is awesome. I wish the gardeners in Los Angeles would use the suction instead of blowing crap all over everywhere.
Daneal, I have a Trivac, and am picking up leaves right now, But the mulcher breaks it down to a lot smaller pieces. I take my mulched leaves to my local food bank, so they can use them in their gardens. A couple of years ago, I took a little over 300 pounds of mulched leaves to them.
Thanks for your video!
Hi Daneal. Love your worx demos. I have had both works blowers. I have the latest wg512. Love it. I have the worx areocart too. I have the sidekick table , jaws saw , and worx 40-volt Self-Propelled mower. Looking to get a drill driver next. Yotube also has battery holders for worx batteries to. Put them out in my laundry room and it helps keeping them organized. Fennoral 2 slot battery holder for worx batteries. They are nice. Even hung my dual charger above them. Have a great day Brother. Keep making great videos.
VERY underrated for clearing snow off sidewalks and vehicles. Done it for years here in Indiana.
Great tip thanks. Thank you for watching and leaving comments.
Just ordered one, thank you very much Sir for your great demonstration and explanation!
Thank you. Well presented and detailed. One suggestion, it would be nice to see how it blows leaves on the lawn vs concrete.
Thank you for watching and the comment I will have to shot a video showing that. Please subscribe to the channel more reviews, DIY, how to's and cool motivation to come. Thanks again for the suggestion and watching.
I've had mine for a couple of years and it works great. I also have the parts to do gutters but having a hard time taking off the big nozzle to put the boot on for the gutter attachment. I never took it off once I set it up like you did. I have very weak hands. I'm 71.
Nice job.. great presentation, well done.. told me all I wanted to know. Thanks for posting.
THANK YOU Daneal! Going out to buy one right now!
Thanks for the thorough review!
This helped me while I was trying to decide to purchase the unit. Thank you!
What is the difference between 512 vs 514 models?
Thank you so much for this. Just bought one and needed to know how to use it. Your video is spot on!!
Thanks for the video! Bought this today!
Thank you just bought one and this helps explain it.
Great review job!
Great review, thanks!
Great video !
Took my mom 3 hours and 4 heavy bags to do her yard. I mowed my much bigger back yard in 20 minutes. Except maybe for flower-beds, I don't get these things. I have a battery operated Black N Decker one. Blow out the garage and gets fires red-hot in seconds🔥🔥🔥
Nice content!
Be aware that in vacuum mode if you suck up debris big enough it will jam up and the motor will heat up and it will shut off and NOT start again. Thankfully, I only had it for a couple weeks and the manufacturer replaced it. Also, removing the blower/vacuum tube is very difficult. It took three of us to pull it off.
Hey Daneal, great review! Would you recommend the Trivac 512 over the older Trivac 509?
Daneal, I have been doing a lot of CZcams reviews of leaf blowers. YOU are one of the best! You clearly communicate. You don't rush the presentation. You seem to really understand what you're doing. You helped me in understanding what I might purchase! I do have a questions. Do you know if he Worx Trivac has a metal or plastic impeller? Thanks for the help and a great demonstration!
Thank you so much for the kind words. These comments help so much more than you know. Sometimes you don't know if you're making an impact. Thank you for watching, subscribing and taking the time to leave a comment. I will check out the blower and get back to you tomorrow about the impeller. Thanks again.
Mineis metal
Hey Daneal would you recommend this for pine straw? I live in the south so my years is mostly pine straw and not leaves. Would it work just as well?
Thank you
Nice, really good review. CAn you tell me what model of Worx Trivac this is?
can't believe he left that part out
My neighbor has one but it seems to take TWICE as long to do anything.
Worx has more than one model that looks like this one. Without the model, this is not of help
Can you turn off the mulching feature? Will the vacuum survive an acorn or small pine cone?
Question, how does it handle big leaves ?
Great job with the review. I bought one but the knob that turns from blower to vacuum and vice versa would not switch the motor back and forth between the two functions. The knob felt like it was stripped when trying to turn it. It would not stay locked into blower mode. I got to use it once. Have to send it back for warranty work. :(
Sorry to hear that did they take care of it for you?
Thank you for showing us, been considering in buying one. One question, why are you dumping leaves in the blue recycle bin, don't you have a green waste bin? haha
The bin is just blue it's not my recycle bin the city just made some blue regular waste bins. Oddly enough the recycle bin is black. Thanks watching and leaving a comment.
The biggest complaint I hear with this model is the snout for the vacuum not being long enough. Especially for men who are taller. I notice that when you were using the vac, your'e in that slightly bent position, which can get to you after about 15 minutes.
How does it do with blowing or sucking copters in grass?
Hello....and HELP!!! Just purchased this and fine dust is coming thru the bag sides. It is so bad that I am covered in dust
Great review. But remember you should always give model# when doing a review. Thanks!
right, useless without model #, cuz they all look alike!!
I think you express everyone's 😟 concerns
How do I get a wood chip removed from the impeller blade?
Sorry for the late response, let me do a little research for you. Perhaps I can make a video of the solution. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment please subscribe to the channel for reviews DIY and more. Thanks again.
Which one did you get? I went looking for one and it showed two different. I am killing my back getting rid of my neighbor boungeville petals. They have like 7 of them. Is driving me crazy.
yeah, he didn't give model number which would be helpful....
Would be nice to have the model number and links to Amazon.
Betty I will work on that, thanks for watching and leaving a comment
But in know way does it mulch 18 bags of leaves into one bag for every pile of leaves I have to empty the bag only took 5 bags to fill up a trash can the must use wast paper trash cans bags
I never tried to putting clippings into bags, just my large trash ben as you can see in the video. I know it does a good job of picking up and mulching. Breaks it down great for composting and is pretty quick. Thanks for comment.
do they have this cordless?
no
My money says you're in FL... but are you in Jacksonville area?
If he was in Jacksonville he would provide the model number.
I believe the Toro UltraPlus has a stronger vacuum action. Based on visual CZcams videos.
Have not used that one will have to check it out. But this one blows twigs, small branches and rocks. I'm impressed with the blowing power for sure.
Thanks for leaving a comment
what is the model no? thank u
“Gonna do some blowing”…
Why did they use a plug version with battery technology now in place.
Thanks for watching and asking a good question. So with this one you have to consider all that's it's doing. If we were just talking about a blower Worx has some truly amazing blowers and I really love their blower tech. Many of these are completely battery operated. The Trivac is just that it's a 3 in 1 so it's not only blowing the leaves it's also sucking up the leaves and grinding them down into mulch. Takes a lot of power to suck them up and then turn that cutter to grind them down. Not that it could't be done with batteries but you would be adding a lot of weight to the set up. You would need a bigger battery to do those task. Thank you for the great question and watching. Please subscribe to the channel, more reviews, DIY, how to's, and cool motivation to come. Thanks again.
If they went cordless this thing will last 5 mins
What is the model number?
No answer for the model number after 3 years. What a failure...
I can see that you're not moving leaves. Honestly I find it mediocre at the least..
My advice to anyone reading is
Get a gas one if you can
That's an interesting statement, not sure if you watched the entire video. At 6:28 I'm blowing leaves and sticks, 8:22 leaves, sticks and nuts, 13:55 wet leaves. So not sure what you were looking at or if you were trying to say something different but a lot of leaves were getting moved around.
@@DanealLanier I just got done blowing 8 to 12" thick thick large areas of maple leaves and it worked great to round them up and use a riding mower to mulch them up .
What is the best model to buy? Other people talking about Toro action plus.
Not impressed
Likewise. Seems very slow for vacuuming. Pointless tool.
@@Michael-vf2mw which one you think is the best?
Another failed review demonstrating on concrete and not the actual lawn!
Interesting, I don't use my blower on the lawn normally but I understand the statement. I can promise you the few times that I have used it to blow grass, leaves or nuts off the lawn or suck up leaves it has worked great. Next blower I demo I will make sure to show examples on the grass. I may even make a video with this blower doing just that for you. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Works great for me so far
@@tltimmer yes it does! Ironic you replied just as I'm getting ready to do the yard work and blow/mulch the leaves. I was saying to my neighbor who uses a gas powered blower that one of the big advantages of having a trivac is that when the wind is blowing against the direction you want to go, instead of fighting endlessly you can just switch to vacuum mode and start mulching.
