I wish that i would meet people from the area that still alive and know about the story of his family. That is true, however China was primarily responsible for the rise of the Khmer Rouge. China funded them, over one billion dollars in weapons. The USA bombing of Cambodia was also a type of fertiliser for the Khmer Rouge in rural areas.
