I’ve been in the military before and I can confirm putting your life at risk is very fun, but at the end of the day i only did it to protect my family.
If you served in Iraq sadly all you did was fight a greedy politicians bloody war the weapons of mass destruction was a complete fucking lie but i still thank you for your service the military can be hell especially in combat

I wouldn’t say fear is fuel but coming to grips with that fear and pushing past it to do what needs to be done separates the men from the boys fear should be more of a tool to keep you on your toes and makes you feel alive and want to stay that way but sometimes it can hinder you if your dumped with a bunch of adrenaline in a high stress situation sometimes it can cloud your judgement depending on the situation
