There's a comforting, warm and optimistic feeling about 90s commercials that just cant be replicated. Not even with today's technology. Because the spirit isnt there

I haven't seen a Nobody Beats The Wiz commercial in quite sometime! Bought many things from them over the years, including my first DVD player.
I guess The Wiz got beat because they've been out of business since at least 2000 I guess.
I love seeing these cars new. You see something like a 98 Maxima now they show their age.

Jesus, I heard so much Brian McKnight thanks to my mom. Speaking of music I heard too much, if these are '97 commercials, then this is two years before Genie In A Bottle would come out and my sister would torture me by listening to it 900 times a day.
That voiceover actor was Edward Hermann. He went on to star in The Gilmore Girls.

1998 was a good year for me... My man, NASCAR driver of the black #3 GM Goodwrench Plus Chevrolet, Dale Earnhardt Sr. After "20 years of trying, and 20years of hardships, has finally won the Daytona 500"...
I'm a die-hard NASCAR fan and a die-hard Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan, so yeah, '98 was a special year for me...
As for those commercials, they were pretty good for the '90s... They really tried to hold on desperately to the '80s vibe untill about 1999... Then things kinda started going to shit in the US... It all went downhill from there I think though after 2001 though...
You don't see TV programming like this much anymore...
