- Murphy our little Boston Terrier would copy his sister Zoey and climb up the stairs every time we were not looking and would always get stuck at the midpoint of the steps. So, out of curiosity, and possible problem solution, we tried to show him how to get back down. To my surprise Zoey, his big husky sister was a huge help, trying her hardest to be his couch through the whole experience.
I'm seriously impressed. That husky is amazingly intelligent and observant.
that's an intelligent husky. maybe it's my imagination, but I thought I saw the husky showing the pup how to get down the stairs by using it's mouth to manipulate the pups front legs to move.
You didn't imagine that, they are that smart....... speaking from experience 👌🏻👍🏻
You didn't imagine. The husky first points with her nose at the pup's front leg, then shows the pup how she uses her front leg to make the first step. She then points at the pup's front leg again and pulls it with her nose, as in, "Common, use it, let's go" - Amazing : )
Yep, that was amazing, the Husky did with his nose try & show how to do a stair. Really smart Husky.
Like a mama
I've never seen anything like it. That husky was absolutely showing the little guy how to get down.
Dogs are amazing creatures. How kind and gentle of that husky. The whole thing is so sweet.
I definitely babied Murphy a lot as a puppy carrying him around in my arms, always worried about him getting hurt. The thing is he was already mimicking Zoey by climbing up the steps when I would walk away for even a second and then end up getting stuck on the stairs.. so I figured why not try and attempt to show him how to get back down on his own. I myself was blown away that Zoey was so intuitive, trying to show her little baby brother what to do. She is such an amazing soul, so patient and kind. I love them both to death. And I can say to all you nay sayer's that they're both very healthy. I've even gone as far as to get Murphy Xrayed out of fear for other health concerns (which were negative). After review of the photos the vet said his joints are placed perfectly with no abnormalities.
Put carpet tiles on the steps. I did with my Bostons, and it worked fantastic!
So sweet I love that big sister is trying to help baby brother down ❤❤❤
Husky sister is a sweetheart. Shes so smart.
Smart Husky!!!
I love my Boston Terrier's! all 3 of them.
Oh what a sweet Husky
Proudly own 3 ✨❤️
Husky is soo sweet 💗
That husky is awesome!
How wonderful for the husky trying to help that adorable baby 😍😍😍
We have Boston too. I carried him on the stairs when he was this size. You can only imagine how huge those stairs look to him since he’s so little.
He was already courageously running up the steps anytime I would look away and get stuck at the mid-point of the stairs. Would you limit a childs progress if they are fast learners? Murphy had going back down the steps down in two days.
So sweet of the husky to try to teach the Boston.🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩
So heartwarming! The husky was blocking so the baby wouldn't fall and would be stopped by her body on the top steps. (Zoey?) Absolute sweetest dog ever! Loved this vid. 🥰
Husky: 'Don't worry buddy, just do what I do!'
I love this! We have a male husky and female boston and they are so great. They have started picking up each other's tendencies, like our boston sighs dramatically like her brother and our husky has picked up his sister's odd tendency to walk while using the bathroom. They are both such amazing dogs and your duo seem to be adorable together as well.
That is awesome. Basically a gender reverse of these two. My female husky also crab walks while peeing lol.
That husky so smart and adorable..
If only all dogs could be so lucky as those two!
This was so cute
What a sweet loving husky💕❣️
Mama's little helper. 🙃💋
That was amazing watching Zoey give the new little guy Murphy directions to using stairs for the first time.
Murphy will be doing the stairs quickly. Very cute watching this, Thanks
That was so cute...🤗😊🤗
I have a Boston and the first time we tried to show him how to walk down the stairs he just straight-up jumped down the last 5 stairs it was kind of scary
My Boston didn't learn stairs until she 7 years old, we never needed to teach her. Luckily she caught on really well
I want Zoey! What an awesome doggie! Motherly (female) instincts kicking in.
Awwww sooo cute OMGGGG I love them both
Aw, big brother try's helping. That's amazing.
Don't hurt him mom, try's to block you.
Think needs a bit more growing, big brothers trying to say.
😇🤗😘
I would love this dog combo also damn depth perception lolll
I had to hold back squeals...so cute!
The husky : Come on little brother I'll show you how to do it. Everything's gonna alright.
The Terrier: Ok Im gonna trust you right now, but if I fall I'm telling mom that uou pushed me!
🐾🐁🐄🍁😁😂😂😂
Aww, what a sweet big sister! They're both beautiful 😘🐶😘🐶💜🙏💜🌸💜🌸
I love how when the huskie walks up the stairs he looks at her like “ are you sure it’s safe “ SOOOOOO cute “
Wow zoey is so paitent and gentle
She really is
So precious!
Start the puppy on the bottom step to learn how to do this...not the top step. Way too scary for the young pup. good husky trying to help!
Heuseff knowerofthings you got issues
Sally, Murphy climbed up to this step himself many times before this video because he learned watching his big sister. He kept getting stuck there because he didn't know how to get back down. Since he was a fast learner and was courageously running up the steps, I figured It was time for his first lesson going down the steps.
Good thought
HOW ADORABLE.
So sweet!!
This is so cute!
This is so cute and adorable 12:22pm
Very cute.
Too cute .....👏👏❤️❤️😘😘
It is amazing how smart some dogs can be. Naturally. Like Zowie knowing to help get her little brother down the stairs. At one point sitting on 2 steps maybe to reduce thte chance of the little one tumbling or to direct jhim jdown the steps.
But one thing....wood steps with no carpeting. While it looks nice they are potentially dangerous for pets or humans. One day we'll be running up or down the stairs. Lose our footing. For whatever the reason.
I've owned 2 dogs in my life time. One time I was walking up the circular stairs in my parent's home. Carpeted. I didnt know my 1st dog was right behind my feet, stopped to look for h er, she didn't know I'd stop and tumbled down their stairs a few steps and stopped. Not seriously hurt. Probalbly slightly ruised. R egrouped and jran up the stairs.
Happened with my 2nd dog in my home. For some reason he backed himself over the edge of the floor and jrolled down 3 or 4 carpeted steps. Looked dazed for a moment. Dont know if there was any micro fractures but he ran back up the stairs after a minute of sitting.
So do have uncarpeted wood steps.....we could be running down them with socked feet....too fasts.....might not happen for a decade then one day....
Hardwood steps are scary. My dogs are not hood at it, I am a huge Boston lover. Four currently.
Wow that husky is nice to murphy *COOL*
SUPER CUTE!!!
Fell in love with them both at first sight.
I know this is an old video but what was the rush? The pup was obviously too small for stairs. He was listening to his animal instincts.
SMART!!!)))
I have a 3 year old male Boston terrier and he’s lovely. Super friendly, very energetic and loved to play. We are thinking of getting a male husky puppy to be his friend.
Does anyone know what the temperament of huskies usually are? I’m hoping they get along and become friends
I believe husky male puppies can be a bit aggressive towards dogs they're not used to unless you socialize them well. Female huskies tend to be more timid.
Soooo sweet. I think that step is way too steep though.
I had to teach mine to climb up and down sometimes it would just hang from the stair because she was to small
Huskies tend to do well with smaller dogs for some reason
Put food in the bottom of the stairs
Aww
He's too small at that point. Mabye another week.
He was already racing up the steps to that mid-point anytime I took my eyes off him because he quickly learned by watching his big sister.
Boston are the best dog .i have had two of them have one now named bezzz

That stepp is giant for that puppy!more than half his size. How would you like to do that. Animals are not there to be cute for us.
