My Boston terrier, Nora, lived to be 16 and never learned the first trick. she appeared to be autistic wanting to do nothing but sit on the sofa and watch TV when she had plenty of room, toys and we were outdoors all the time. However she had ME perfectly trained to wait on her. That dog irritated me to death but oh God, I loved her and I miss her to this day four years later. She was beautiful and hilarious and loved by everyone in my neighborhood. I enjoyed seeing Marli and when I rescue my next Boston I hope I get a Marli! but if I don't, oh well.....you can't do better than a Boston.

Lost my 12 year old BT boy, Cosmo, two years ago to respiratory failure. Watch these videos when I need a fix. I miss him a lot.

Absolutely the best dog breed in the whole world. Oliver, Otto, Violet, and Oskar. Wonderfully intelligent and sensitive animals. They make the best people.
These babies are the smartest and sweetest dogs ever!!!! I have had two and will never have any other dog!!!! If I could have 10 at one time I would be so happy!!! But they are like real children and will cry and act like a baby!!!! It's so cute!! I love Boston terriers!!

@@chrisselvam248 I have had Bostons for 40 some years. I just recently loss my Babee Doll who lived for 12.5 years. Big hole in my heart now. No BT in the house...just me.
@@okiebrave1932 I'm so sorry you lost your BT. My heart breaks for you 💔. My family has had BTs since 1928 when my Dad bought the first one. They are the best dogs ever. I hope your sadness soon turns to sweet memories of your Babee Doll and may you soon find room for another. 🤗

I lost my last Boston about 8 years ago, and I miss having one terribly. It was nice to see the personality that this breed has again.
We had one when I was a teenager. She was so great, smart, loveable, funny.... I still miss her.
I love Boston's. Gave my husband one for Christmas once.
Great dogs- ours is 11 years old and i' m already dredging the day we have to say goodby- love him like no other!
Our Jackson is 12. Probably gonna have to sedate my hubby. That's his little guy.

@@Melinda8162 // Thanks, I hope so too. His nickname is 'Action Jackson' and he acts half his age. (Takes a minute for him to get moving after laying still for awhile, though.) So much personality in that 28 lb package! 😁

Our darling Toby we had during my teen years till I was in my early 20's. We lost him to cancer, but he was our darling baby boy and mom spoiled him so bad. He had a very assertive behavior and told everyone what to do even our German shepard. Lol. I called him out Boston Terror. He flunked obedience training and at graduation to show his dissaproval of the entire show ripped his leash out of mom's hand, picked up the end in his mouth and proudly marched down to his brother Laddie my sheltie mix who was graduating lol. We missed that little monster for years. Smart as a whip, just would not be told what to do ha ha.

My Boston Pina does every trick in the book too. This is my first time owning this breed of dog and let me say, it's a real pleasure. They're smart, loving, well behaved and they do not bark unless asked to. I love her to pieces.
How did you get her to do all of these tricks?? I am getting ready to pick my baby up soon and I want to train him to be able to do all of these tricks! Adorable!

This is so adorable. My boston is 6 and he still acts like a puppy. I cant keep his attention long enough to teach him alot of tricks but I love him anyways, he gets treated like one of the kids.

I own a Boston and I can tell you that they are very smart dogs. If you're looking for a smaller dog that's loyal, intelligent, and a good listener a Boston is for you.
