I’m from NC and every summer my brother and I would fish every single creek we could find. We were obsessed. We’d take our lunch and some Kool Aid (showing my age here) and stay gone all day. We lived in a wonderful, safe community where the neighbors looked after us. It was such a wonderful time. I feel fortunate to have lived in such a safe community.

I love this the ocean makes me miss florida. You gals are braver then me if i seen that bug we would have all been soaked. Thats one bug i am terrified of. My mom use to say when you see one theres always another close by. The crab ehh i feel like i got one by my feet now. I got chills but the stingray view that was awesome. Growing up we had a small single wide trailer on a lake and we stayed there all summer long. Those were some of my favorite childhood memories. Late night swims and lake friends that you saw every summer. Fishing everyday with my Dad was great. The memories you’re making will last your kiddos forever.

Please dont go in the water to your neck. I almost lost 2 to undercurrents. The undercurrent takes you under, hold you there and you fight to get to the top until you drown. Most bodies aren't found or wash up somewhere days or weeks later.
