More cilantro, no jalapeño seeds. Can you use that salsa for the base and layering on homemade enchiladas?
Yes, it would probably be really tasty used in an enchilada recipe
Why no seeds?
What I appreciate most is how natural and unfiltered this video feels. It's refreshing honestly. Cheers.
Thank you so much!
Really nice recipe! Thank you for sharing!
Great simple recipe! Thanks!
Wow! I have been in search of the best restaurant salsa for decades. This is it!! Thank you for your delicious recipes. I really enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much for the feedback on this recipe and about my other videos. ! I really appreciate it. I really like the blend of fresh and canned ingredients for this recipe and how you can adjust all of it to what works for YOU!
😊 I'm so glad that you didn't add anything fire roasted (burned) to this recipe. This looks great because it's quick & healthy too. Thanks so much for sharing this with the rest of us, will be making it today! 😊
Enjoy and please let me know if you liked it or what you changed to make it your own recipe. I actually do use fire roasted tomatoes sometimes but that flavor is definitely not for everyone. The great thing with canned tomatoes is that they come in so many varieties now it's easy to make for whatever flavor you like best.
@@SavorySaver I often like the texture and flavor of good plum tomatoes over fresh. Happy to know I'm not alone.☺️ And to me burnt = ruined food.
LOL,,,The chef is using them in his recipe...
Thanks for sharing! Super easy and super tasty! Just made this now for my Sunday brunch! 5 ⭐️
Thank you so much for trying it out! I hope it's a hit with your brunch crowd. Enjoy!

I love sweet basil & oraegno in mine also.
Nice! I'm sure the herbs brighten up and add great taste to the salsa. Thank you for sharing what you add to your salsa Elizabeth.
This 1 I can have minus the jalapeno seeds .The other 1 that uses the pickled jalapenos I cant have. Due to having a bleeding ulcer that is now finally in remission and needs to stay that way so am only allowed to have mild salsa once in awhile even tho I love it and am allergic to onions and cant have large amounts of garlic either cos am sensitive to that as well .It's like ur caught between a rock and a hard place when U have both allergies and ur a Celiac cos U cant win . Thank U for this 1 .and have a blessed week Jamie with ur awesome family .
Dang I'm celiac as well and I am addicted to spicy things and sodium😅 it started when I was like 5 I was putting tony chachere's on everything from spaghetti to a bologna sandwich and have built a terribly high tolerance for salt and heat. Everyone says I'm gonna get an ulcer or surprised I haven't had one yet. We're spicey things the reason for your ulcer? Reading your comment made things kinda real for me thinking I will prob be in the same exaxt boat as you one day. Hope you are doing better❤
Nice dish.
Thank you so much for the compliment and for watching!
Good easy recipe
Sometimes and easy recipe is the way to go!
Looks delish. Have you tried canning this for long term storage? Will try this soon.
I haven’t tried canning it. Maybe i should try it with that or another recipe. I’m the type that puts as much salsa on a chip that will fit so I usually get through it all. I do can my own jalapeños which come out really well.
I use fresh green jalepenos is and boil them until they lose bright green color. 4-5 jalapenos with large can tomatoes and garlic powder. Makes one quart
Thank you for sharing Connie!
Wait...did someone say "Margarita"??? And I need that salt and pepper bowl! Do you have a link for that??? Another great video!!!
Gotta have a margarita with chips and salsa. Video for my margarita will be out soon!
Rick bayless suggests to rinse your diced raw onion separately to get rid of the sulphur
You might like adding a bit of Mexican oregano too:0)
A pinch or two of that would be a great addition. Thank you for sharing!
Where is the tomatoes how many did you use?
I used 2 14.5 oz cans of tomatoes
@@SavorySaver thank you. Can’t wait to try this!
I’m going to try this. Thanks! But you forgot the Margarita!!!
My FAVORITE drink is a good margarita. Be sure to check out my recipe for that on the channel as well!
Oh yeah! That’s a good recipe! Thank you I made it a couple of days ago don’t think I’ll ever buy store bought salsa again. Thanks!
@@country2thesoul277 So glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for letting me know!
Can someone please tell me what exactly does "Restaurant style" mean? Does that mean someone makes it & serves it to me? 🤣😂 If so, that is my type of recipe! lol
lol…..🤣🤣 sometimes that is EXACTLY what that means. Thank you for watching!
@@SavorySaver Glad I gave you a giggle😉 However, I really don't know what restaurant style means. Do you?
It means the recipe/taste/style is similar to what you would get in some restaurants
🤣🤣🤣
No, thank you!
Thank you for watching Jodi
