- PCIE fans used to be common...well not that common but they exist here and there at the time when PC cases were beige boxes and had terrible airflow but now with newer cases that already have good airflow they disappeared. But here it is one of the old products which is the Evercool Fox-2 System Blower. Watch to take a look!

What are you talking about? It consumes hot air and exhaust it out of your case. Most of our exhaust fans are at the top of our case so this is useful because its down at the bottom under our GPUs. If you dont have a reference model gpu then this is extremely useful.
It is actually design for those office PC's or OEM pc's that has a poor airflow, or if you have an ITX build this is very helpful
@@joshygaminghub7428 That may be the case but gpus produce alot of heat when active and this does a great job of getting rid of that heat. Its crazy how much heat you feel when putting your hands at the exhaust of this thing when gaming.
@@qandmarco8994 if you have a blower style GPU and your case has a limited airflow on it, this thing would be useful
This works best with Mini ITX builds with 2 expansion slots. Some ITX builds do not have standard fan compatibility, especially when its a thin form factor.
No no works best with raid controllers.
My pc is partially inside a cabinet with the front exposed for intake air and i really want to rig up an impellor fan like this to blow air out the side of the cabinet from within but not make a huge hole. This might help
There used to be a motherboard from asus, I believe, that had that style of blowers for the heatsink over the vrm. Might be useful for that.
New motherboards have those now for the chipset.
which cable adapter are you using? does this 4-pin molex ide conversion for fan connectors? just tell me the name or please a purchase link. I'm from Brazil I loved the video congratulations !!!
its a molex to 4 pin adapter, available through amazon and most computer parts retailers
What are you using to control the fan speed as its a molex fan?
You can't control the speed
@@ix.cryo1 Sure you can, it requires a molex adapter to either a 3 pin or 4 pin fan connector, then buy a fan speed controller in either 3 pin or 4 pin
I still don't know why I have this thing in my computer. I'm pretty sure it's blocking the fan in my GPU and that's probably where the clicking is coming from
Is there a low profile pci slot bracket option?
There is, make sure you look for the smaller option when you are buying.

Umm.the Back of packaging on Fox-2 says 60cfm max
hmm works like a blower style graphics card.
No shit sherlock
Hey how do you call the cables you use
Whats the name of the connectors pls ?
molex
And how to take out that impeller from it's housing
What? The Fox 2 is rated for 60 cfm
What. You didn't even test it. Useless.

These are utter crap. Noisy, power hungry, messing the air flow in the case and inefficient. Worst of all worlds. Avoid like plague. Sometimes less is more.
i bought one, takes my gpu 4 degrees cooler. works for me..
