They're limited to 1050 ft due to the solent and there are limited in height due to the verrazano's narrows bridge in New York now if they can dredge the solent out to they can accept ships 2000 ft long then you'll see longer ships cuz they're almost at the limit and still be able to get into these ports unless these ports start removing these obstacles cuz eventually they'll have to look for Newports because the old ports I just no longer big enough for them
MSC their ships are excellent their crews are excellent and the crew who runs the ship are excellent the only thing is their food is quite bland so the only thing you need to bring other than your clothing is some spices and some seasonings so the rule of thumb when you travel on an MSC ship is bring your own seasonings
The very first carnival Mardi gras was previously named the empress of Ireland and that's why a lot of carnival ships have an empress deck
If you were to take the funnel off at p&o ship and swap them with the Mardi gras you'll see those are both the same class of ships they're both mechanically identical

I’m happy you talked about LNG. You’re the first cruise vlogger that seemed to actually say something about it. Whole not perfect, it’s a lot cleaner for ships to use than the current marine fuel they’re using, and I think may help the negative impression people have of cruise ships and their environmental impact. Not that cruising is green, but it’s definitely getting better!

I was just on the NCL Encore and I can confirm it was AWESOME!
Worth pointing out that it's since come out that the 200,000 GT Icon Class was actually an underestimation. Royal Caribbean has since said that it will be larger than the Oasis Class.

@The Night ,Currently, I’m not sure if a single class is their flagship. Both Quantum and Oasis class ships get equal press and marketing. The Icon class is still upcoming, and is expected to usurp the Oasis Class, though. It’ll be hard to deny that Icon is their baby when it launches next year.

Of the Oasis class ships that has the big fish on the AFT of the top deck of the ship and you slide down to the bottom outside deck is disguising something and that's called a funnel it's always fun to try to figure out how many finals modern ships have especially passenger vessels because they do a good job of trying to hide them in mast and then other type of structure

Still be humble about the sea. Like i feel this is like a challenge to see how big the ship can be and like once again sending a unsinkable ships. Safety should be like top priority.
LNG-powered ships are fantastic!!! Engines should also be quiter on them, so pumped to try them out!
Remember the Airbus A380 it was going to be the answer. The biggest problem now is to find a place to scrap them.History repeats itself. I could think of nothing worse than being confined on a vessel with 7000 others.

@@marykay8587 we stay more forward on the ship which helps. Once you understand what venues are aft or forward it is easy. We love the Oasis class ships.

They are literally floating mountains. We docked in Estonia and the ship was taller than the hill the town is built on.

I have cruised on all of RCL' s Oasis class ships.

How long does it take to disembark passengers at ports when theres 6000-9000 of them? I know not everyone gets off at same time but still seems like it would take quite a while. They sound great for long sea voyages tho.
Just come back from wonder of the seas, no issues with disembarking. A lot of people stay on the boat at port it seems

overall very good video but one thing i want to correct. number 5, the excellence class you showed the AIDAprima but thats the wrong class the AIDAprima and AIDAperla are part of the Hyperion-class. those are 299.9 meters long and about 38 meters long. The ship you should have is the AIDAnova or the new build AIDAcosma. those ships are both part of the Helios/excellence-class. they are 337m long and about 42 meters wide

See the icon class ship from Royal Caribbean needs to be larger wider faster more powerful and offer more amenities than the Oasis class and that's the only way they're going to stay ahead of the game

Bigger isn’t always better. We cruised years ago on what was the biggest at that time - Navigator of The Seas - and the food was mediocre at best. Each and every dinner seating in the special restaurants were booked solid for the entire week by the time we boarded so all we got was regular dining room slop for the entire cruise. People get up at the crack of dawn to reserve each and every lounger at the pools and never seemed to actually sit on them. If we ever do a cruise again it will be on a smaller sailing vessel bc the regular ships are horrible ecologically.
Sir I have a good question . I wish to buy couple of these Royal Caribbean most luxurious cruise for business purpose as wish to start own cruise lines business by end of 2024.what would be the price? Also instead of buying it can I lease it for the business?
Actutally Am a commerce graduate from India open university and working in a bpo firm but my plan is to first do Management ACCOUNTING course from chartered institute of management accounting UK or CMA ( certified Management Accounting) from Institute of Management Accounting, USA or acca ( Association of chartered certified accountant) or even chartered accountancy course from Indian or England and Wales institute ,develop massive amount of knowledge in cost accounting financial management statistics international financial reporting standards and/or local accounting standards and start own cruise lines business and also head the finance department of it but rather than building own cruise which is time consuming thought of buying or even leasing couple of these top most already existing luxurious cruise and form own cruise lines company and settle in it within few months Will it be possible?
Also I have another question if it makes sense. It's that even if I don't have my own money can funding be expected from angel investors or venture capitalists ? Will my qualification , knowledge and presentation impress the investors sufficiently?
If possible please can I get response on this? Thanks.
