Gorgeous paint job! Would love to see a Vision Jet in the same paint scheme

Too bad they cheap'd out and went for analog backups.

Stay tuned on this... we have plans to add a single electronic standby instrument that will have synthetic vision and allow for instrument approaches as well as other PFD functions and data. We also plan to add USB charging ports as well as a RAM mount ball to allow iPad mounting. We expect it to be much more intuitive and useful than what is available with the perspective setup.

@@SteelAviation Not sure what you are talking about. My G5 SR22T has 12 inch screens, a digital backup instrument panel, synthetic vision, moving maps, full ADS-B IN/OUT, TCAS/TIS, and there are four USB ports, two inside the console, two on the back of the console. There are also four ANC plugs for Bose headsets and three more for old style jacks.

@@gbigsangle3044 Apart from the 3 rear seats and G6 door handles, everything can be upgraded with the older models. New IFD’s are incredibly fast and just as capable. Referring back to the standby instruments, Cirrus owners have been upgrading to Garmin G5’s / 275’s. We have an alternate plan in the works that will allow for synthetic vision and instrument approaches, even during a PFD/MFD failure, which is more capable than the current SAM currently installed in new Cirrus. And as for the screens, these will also be upgraded soon 🙂
The Steel Edition aircraft gives buyers another option for a like-new aircraft. And of course, when new avionics and equipment become available, these can typically be installed to update the Cirrus further. Unfortunately on new Cirrus, the only way to upgrade in the future will be to buy a new aircraft.
